So many links from single site?
-
this guy is ranking on all high volume keywords and has low quality content, he has 1600 ref domains
check the attachment
how did he get so many links from single site
is he gonna be penalized
-
There is nothing strange about this, it is just that someone here has taken specific marketing measures. On the other hand, however, it is not always about the quality of the content, but also about the links themselves, the places from which they come directly.
-
Based on the description, it appears to be a site-wide link, possibly originating from their above-the-fold or footer navigation. This is a standard practice for certain collaborations and something I would advocate for, but not solely for SEO purposes. Instead, the goal should be to drive genuine traffic rather than simply obtaining a large number of links (which, at that scale, are likely to have minimal value) from a single partnership.
In some instances, an excessive number of links from a single origin might be perceived as inauthentic linking practices, potentially resulting in a Google penalty. If you're concerned about the quantity of links from a single source, Google Search Console's Disavow Tool can be used to instruct Google to disregard those links.
-
While there's no hard limit to the number of links on each page, consider limiting hyperlinks to what makes sense. If adding a link provides important context or navigational capabilities, add it — but if your page has too many unnecessary links, you might be creating a poor experience for users.

Having too many links from a single site can potentially affect your website's SEO negatively. It's important to maintain a balanced and diverse link profile for better search engine optimization. (Canada PR) ( PMP Exam Prep) (Study abroad)

The individual you mentioned has managed to acquire a substantial number of backlinks from a single site, likely through various methods or partnerships. Whether they will be penalized or not depends on whether these links violate search engine guidelines, such as being considered spammy or manipulative. Search engines may penalize websites for such practices if they're against their guidelines. (Study abroad) (Which Stream Is Hard Science or Commerce) (Canada PR) (PMP Exam Prep)

If you have so many links from a single site, it's important to assess the quality of those links. If they are coming from a high-quality site with relevant content, then they may be beneficial for your SEO. However, if they are coming from a low-quality site or a site that is irrelevant to your niche, then they could actually hurt your ranking.
In some cases, having too many links from a single site can be seen as a sign of link manipulation, which could lead to a Google penalty. If you're concerned about the number of links from a single site, you can use Google Search Console's Disavow Tool to tell Google to ignore those links.

Hy.
I got more than 2000 backlinks from a website on my site spotifypremiumfreeapk.info , do i need to disavow all of them or not?
-
It's a tricky business, trust me. You can get tanked in Search because of it. And when you are, prepare for 6 months of zero organic traffic untill those links are either set to nofollow, or removed completely.
-
i have some 1700 links like those, actually, i posted one link on this edu site and other seo's came and filled that page, now for that post there 1000 pages.
what is the good Amount of these links?
or should be avoided at all costs?
-
Very much a site-wide link it seems, it could be that they're linking this from their top or footer navigation. It's a regular practice for certain partnerships. It's something I'd encourage people to do, but not from an SEO point-of-view as you should aim to drive actual traffic instead of just getting 200K links (with likely barely any value at that scale) out of a partnership.
-
it's called a "Sitewide" link. Yes there's risks to that, as i had a client doing the same on 2 different websites, boosting the amount of incoming links to roughly 250k in less then a month. After that he got tapped, lost all positions, traffic went down significantly, we had to adjust links, and it took on average 6 months to 'recover' from that.

Link Types For Link Building
Hi i have a SEO agency we work with who are building quality guest post links for us, however they are also building forum, profile, blog comments
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | spyaccounts14
and directory based links. 60% of their links they are building are high quality, relevant guest posts while the other 40% are the other link types. The 40% seem to be relevant directories, forums, blog comments, etc. They said they build other link types because it diversifies the link building and profile rather then just building high quality guest posts. As just building one link type can leave a footprint. What are your thoughts on this? Cheers.0 -
Do I need to actively disavow links to my site?
I check the "Links to my site" section in Google WMT on a regular basis. In the past couple of months I've been seeing more and more weird links, from pretty spammy domains and even a few from weird Iranian domains. It's Needless to say but I have never bought a link or been involved in any link schemes or the like. Like probably everyone in the Internet, I'm in a competitive vertical, and my competitors probably aren't so scrupulous. The question is, do I actively need to disavow suspicious links? Should I contact the domains and ask to remove them? I have usually just ignored these links, and not wasted time in doing anything with them (since weird automated links are always around) but the proliferation in the last couple months has started to worry me.

Moving to a new site while keeping old site live
For reasons I won't get into here, I need to move most of my site to a new domain (DOMAIN B) while keeping every single current detail on the old domain (DOMAIN A) as it is. Meaning, there will be 2 live websites that have mostly the same content, but I want the content to appear to search engines as though it now belongs to DOMAIN B. Weird situation. I know. I've run around in circles trying to figure out the best course of action. What do you think is the best way of going about this? Do I simply point DOMAIN A's canonical tags to the copied content on DOMAIN B and call it good? Should I ask sites that link to DOMAIN A to change their links to DOMAIN B, or start fresh and cut my losses? Should I still file a change of address with GWT, even though I'm not going to 301 redirect anything?

My site is always in the top 4 on google, and sometimes goes to #2\. But the site at #1 is always at #1 .. how can i beat them?
So i'm sure this is a very generic question.. of course everyone wants to be #1. We are an ecommerce web site. We have all sorts of products, user ratings, and are loved by our customers. We sell over 3 million a year. So let me give you some data.. First of all one of the sites that keeps taking the #2 or #3 spot is amazons category for what we sell.. (i'm not sure if I should say who we are here.. as I don't want the #1 spot to realize we are trying to take them over!) Amazon of course has a domain authority of 100. But they never take the #1 spot. The other site that takes the #2 and #3 spot is not even selling anything. Happens to be a technical term's with the same name wikipedia page! (i wish google would figure out people aren't looking for that!) Anyways.. every day we bouce back and forth between #4 and #2.. but #1 never changes.. Here are the stats of us verse #1 from moz: #1: Page Authority: 56.8, Root Domains Linking to page: 158, Domain Authority: 54.6: root domains linking to the root domain 1.42k my site: Page Authority: 60.6, Root domains linking to the page: 562, Domain Authority: 52.8: root domains linking to the root domain: 1.03k So they beat us in domain authority SLIGHTLY and in root domains linking to the root domain. So SEO masters.. what do I do to fix this? Get better backlinks? But how.... I can't just email GQ and ask them to write about us can I? I'm open to all things.. Maybe i'm not using moz data correctly.. We should at least be #2. We get #2 every other day.

Can Keyword-Stuffing on a Single Page Penalize My Entire Site?
Hi forum! I want to improve my internal linking through adding keyword-rich anchor text to my search results pages (my site has an internal search engine for products). For example, if I were a shoes store, my product search engine results are currently:
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | Travis-W
-Running
-Hiking
-Walking
-Track and I want to make them actual keyword-terms by changing them to:
-Running Shoes
-Hiking Shoes
-Walking Shoes
-Track Shoes This creates a problem - the keyword "shoes" is stuffed on the page. I don't care how well these dynamic search results pages appear in search, only the actual product pages. Is it okay to keyword stuff on these pages, or would it penalize my entire site?0 -

Fading Text Links Look Like Spammy Hidden Links to a g-bot?
Ah, Hello Mozzers, it's been a while since I was here. Wanted to run something by you... I'm looking to incorporate some fading text using Javascript onto a site homepage using the method described here; http://blog.thomascsherman.com/2009/08/text-slideshow-or-any-content-with-fades/ so, my question is; does anyone think that Google might see this text as a possible dark hat SEO anchor text manipulation (similar to hidden links)? The text will contain various links (4 or 5) that will cycle through one another, fading in and out, but to a bot the text may appear initially invisible, like so; style="display: none;"><a href="">Link Here</a> All links will be internal. My gut instinct is that I'm just being stupid here, but I wanted to stay on the side of caution with this one! Thanks for your time 🙂 http://blog.thomascsherman.com/2009/08/text-slideshow-or-any-content-with-fades

How to boost a site with many low trafficked keywords?
Hello, I am doing some seo for a company that has a ranking of 63 in opensiteexplorer and over 600 mostly high quality linking domains. A problem I can see is that there are no stand out keywords that can be used for there business, all keywords I have researched have at best 4000 searches in google.com.au. they get around 50k visits per month from google and the 8 highest performing keywords besides the biz name range from 60-140 visits! all long long tail results, 58,771 total visits via 44,879 keywords! It is a business directory and the site is broken up into 15 categories. each category has no backlinks to them or minimal. The company has editorial staff and produces high quality news on there site. I was thinking article marketing, what sites are good for high quality submissions? Also the site has many links from wikipedia articles but these dont show up in opensiteexplorer, why could this be? Could social bookmarking of there wikipedia links help? Thanks for any help
