To increase your website visibility on Google, first you start by optimizing your site for SEO. This involves using relevant keywords naturally in your content, meta descriptions, and URLs. High-quality, engaging, and original content is essential, as it keeps users on your page and attracts more visitors over time , and then Backlinks from reputable websites can also boost your site authority and search rankings. Additionally, improving page speed and ensuring your website is mobile-friendly enhances user experience, which is good for higher rankings.
Regularly updating your website with fresh content is another key factor in maintaining visibility. For instance, websites targeting specific services like Scholarly Help focus on keywords such as "pay someone to take my online exam" which helps them rank better in search results for educational services.

Optimize for SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
Start by researching industry terms. Ensure you use these keywords strategically in your content, titles, meta descriptions, and image alt tags. Proper on-page SEO, including internal linking, clean URLs, and mobile-friendly designs, helps search engines understand your content better.

            Create high-quality content:
Publish valuable, informative, and engaging content tailored to your audience. High-quality content helps you rank for keywords and encourages users to spend more time on your site, which improves your search ranking.

            Build backlinks:
Ranking factors include backlinks (links from other reputable websites to your content). Focus on earning backlinks through guest posts, partnerships, and creating shareable content like infographics or research reports. The more high-quality sites link to you, the better your website will rank.

Optimize for local SEO (if applicable):
Local businesses need local SEO. Maintain accurate listings in Google My Business and Bing Places for Business. Add accurate business information, respond to reviews, and post regular updates.

            Improve Website Speed and Mobile-Friendliness:
Google and Bing prioritize fast, mobile-friendly websites. Use tools like Google’s PageSpeed Insights to check and improve your site’s load times. All devices should be able to access your site.

I have been working as an SEO for quite a while now and below are a few of the strategies that must be executed.

Optimize for Relevant Keywords: Conduct thorough keyword research related to equipment rental services. Use these keywords strategically in your website's content, meta tags, and headers.

Quality Content: Create high-quality, relevant, and engaging content that addresses the needs of your target audience. Regularly update your blog with industry news, tips, and equipment guides.

On-Page SEO: Optimize on-page elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, and image alt text. Ensure your website is structured logically with a clear hierarchy and easy navigation.

Mobile Optimization: With an increasing number of users accessing the internet via mobile devices, ensure your website is mobile-friendly—google values mobile-responsive websites in its search rankings.

Backlink Building: Build high-quality backlinks from reputable websites in the equipment rental industry. This can be achieved through outreach, partnerships, and creating shareable content.

Local SEO: Optimize your website for local searches by claiming and updating your Google My Business listing. Encourage satisfied customers to leave positive reviews.

Social Media Presence: Maintain an active presence on social media platforms relevant to your industry. Share your content, engage with your audience, and promote your services.

Page Speed Optimization: Improve your website's loading speed for a better user experience. This is a crucial factor in search engine rankings.

Monitor Analytics: Use tools like Google Analytics to track your website's performance. Analyze user behaviour, identify popular content, and make data-driven decisions to enhance your site's visibility.

Regular Updates: Stay informed about search engine algorithms and updates. Regularly update your website to align with the latest SEO best practices.

About 3 months ago, I created a subfolder, maniflexa.com/emploi/, dedicated to job listings which is a completely different niche. The subfolder has around 120 posts and pages. Unfortunately, since I created the subfolder, the rankings of my main site have been negatively impacted. I was previously ranking #1 for all local digital services keywords, but now, only 2 out of 16 keywords have maintained their positions. Other pages have dropped to positions 30 and beyond. I'm considering a solution and would like your advice: I'm planning to purchase a new domain and migrate the content from maniflexa.com/emploi/ to newdomain.com. However, I want to ensure a smooth migration without affecting the main domain maniflexa.com rankings and losing backlinks from maniflexa.com/emploi/ pages. Is moving the subfolder content to a new domain a viable solution? And how can I effectively redirect all pages from the subfolder to the new domain while preserving page ranks and backlinks?
I wish they did, but GSC doesn't offer a solution to migration content from subfolder to a new domain. 😢 Help a fellow Mozer. Thanks for giving a hand.

Unsolved Using NoIndex Tag instead of 410 Gone Code on Discontinued products?

                                    ecommerce noindex shopify indexed urls

Hello everyone, I am very new to SEO and I wanted to get some input & second opinions on a workaround I am planning to implement on our Shopify store. Any suggestions, thoughts, or insight you have are welcome & appreciated! For those who aren't aware, Shopify as a platform doesn't allow us to send a 410 Gone Code/Error under any circumstance. When you delete or archive a product/page, it becomes unavailable on the storefront. Unfortunately, the only thing Shopify natively allows me to do is set up a 301 redirect. So when we are forced to discontinue a product, customers currently get a 404 error when trying to go to that old URL. My planned workaround is to automatically detect when a product has been discontinued and add the NoIndex meta tag to the product page. The product page will stay up but be unavailable for purchase. I am also adjusting the LD+JSON to list the products availability as Discontinued instead of InStock/OutOfStock.
Then I let the page sit for a few months so that crawlers have a chance to recrawl and remove the page from their indexes. I think that is how that works?
Once 3 or 6 months have passed, I plan on archiving the product followed by setting up a 301 redirect pointing to our internal search results page. The redirect will send the to search with a query aimed towards similar products. That should prevent people with open tabs, bookmarks and direct links to that page from receiving a 404 error. I do have Google Search Console setup and integrated with our site, but manually telling google to remove a page obviously only impacts their index. Will this work the way I think it will?
Will search engines remove the page from their indexes if I add the NoIndex meta tag after they have already been index?
Is there a better way I should implement this? P.S. For those wondering why I am not disallowing the page URL to the Robots.txt, Shopify won't allow me to call collection or product data from within the template that assembles the Robots.txt. So I can't automatically add product URLs to the list.

Requiring customer agree to shipping terms at checkout

                                    ecommerce conversion rate marketing

I work for an ecommerce company that has many of its shipments go by LTL freight. Our customer service team has issues with a few customers per month that aren't equipped to receive freight shipments which leads to returns and other issues. In an effort to better inform our customers, the customer service team is requesting that we add a checkbox to the checkout that requires customers to agree to our shipping and returns policy, including a link to the policy page. I am wondering how concerned people here would be that requiring the customer to check a box agreeing to those terms would lead to more customers abandoning during the checkout process. Or do you think it's not a concern? Thanks for your thoughts.

How To Increase Blog DA to 50+

Hey, I am wondering to know the key metrics which MOZ considers before giving a blog of DA 50+. I have tried to search but couldn't find the best answers so was wondering how it's achieved. For example a site named "SportsALA" have a DA of 20 but i see they have links from many sites. I have checked other sites as well for example and they have less RDs but still had higher DA. Can anyone help me to explain Moz DA 2.0 factors a bit more. Thanks

What Should be the URL of third party blog for my website

Hi All, What Should be the URL of third party blog for my website. Lets say if i have a website xyz.com (which provide pest control services in New York City) and I want to create third party blogs on platforms like blogspot, weebly etc so should i create the blog url as xyz.blogspot.com or i can use a keyword in the blog URL such as pestcontrolnyc.blogspot.com? Which URL would be the best as per Google's guidelines. Note: I have already have a blog within the domain as xyz.com/blog/ and i do weekly posting on this blog. But at the same time i want to create 1-2 third party blogs to get some backlinks from other sources.

                                    Sponsored posts against Google guidelines?

I'm a bit confused. Every blog I try to outreach on always give me a quote for a sponsored post. Isn't this against Google guidelines because you paying for a link technically even though your paying for a post? Do you guys buy sponsored posts? Should this be avoided? How do you outreach to a blog that offers sponsored posts? They can smell that you want a link from a mile away and give you a nice fat quote.

Value of RSS Feed for a website?

What sort of value does an RSS feed provide for a website? If you use an RSS feed on your website, what do you use to keep it updated? Can you recycle mention of content / pages in the feed over time? Any good links on this subject?
