Arbeidslys.no - the future light store in Norway
In 2003 a young boy named Preben Want at the age of 13, saw the importance of good quality lighting and the lack of it in the Norwegian market. He wanted to present the market for high-quality lights and that’s when the idea of Arbeidslys.no came to life. in 2004 the company’s CEO Preben Want launched the webshop «arbeidslys.no» Since it’s inception the company has grown both in employees, item selection and market. Today we are proud to offer our costumers the best lighting products on the market! We work closely with names like Vision X Norway, Rigid Industries Norway, IPF Norway, Apollo of Norway, NorMaster and Ledtech.
Our vision is to deliver high quality-products by high-quality brands to our costumers, in the safest possible way. Safety is our number one priority!
In 2016 we set out to conquer the Scandinavian market, with quality products, good costumer service, our cooperation with our brands and our passion for lighting! join us on our new adventure.

Arbeidslys’ CEO (Preben Want) grew up with a father who was both racing motorcycle’s for the Yamaha team and he owned a racing car Ford Sierra Cosworth. The interest for cars and motorcycles goes way back in the family, so it was to nobody surprise that Preben also went somewhat in the same direction. The family now owns a Car, Truck and Boat repair workshop (promotornord.no), they have a lift and machine rent out store (bodoliftutleie.no) and of course www.Arbeidslys.no.
