SEM RUSH
Has anyone else had bad experiences with the company behind SEMRUSH. They have me on an auto renewing subscription and refuse to let me off. There is no way to unsubscribe online and they don't answer phones/emails/messages. The only way is to cancel my debt card which is literally going to cause me a lot of ache...
The tool was highly inaccurate and practically worthless. I am really upset they are this unethical.

RE: How to increase page authority
Thank you! I hate when people try to obfuscate SEO.
If I relied on kick ass business and natural link building no one would pay me $100 an hour. Probably because they would be 30k in the hole before they hit front page.
I do however lean away from explaining my practice to clients. I don't want them to replace me, right? I am transparent and above board, but I don't explain the process...
Francisco is giving one of those partial truths. I am sure it was intended to confuse the poster in thinking, I am doing that and getting no where! Perhaps I will pay this guy that knows how to do what I do better...

RE: KeyWord Density?
This is a common sense approach. There is an optimal %.
I can write endless content that has high value. My site targets local real estate. I could write a hundred pages with a high value to customers. I need to know the %. I could write 300 words at 6% phrase. I could write 1,000 words at 3% etc... No matter how much content I add, it will be high quality.
I appreciate the link to the tool; however, even the tool has to target a specific %. It has to have an objective concept in which it weighs by. I am certain it has a %.
A blog on SEOMOZ once said 6%. A local SEO told me that is high level spam.

KeyWord Density?
What is an acceptable density for a keyword? It's wise to push it as close to spam without sacrificing user experience, correct?
I read an article on SeoMoz (outdated I think) that mentioned 6%.
If it's a keyword phrase, do you have to make sure you don't go over the density level of a particular word in the phrase. If it's a three word phrase, do you have to not use any one word more than X% or just monitor the exact keyword.

RE: Seo & Real Estate Site?
Now I am excited. I've never combined my concepts. I operate a lot of domains that are not similar. I have always wanted to run a site about who/what I really am. An agent that focuses on the web :).
Can I get some more members opinions! Give me some advice on this please.
I could get a link from SEOMOZ now. LOL I never made a single backlink to my real estate sites because there was no relevance.

RE: Seo & Real Estate Site?
Do you understand my objective? I want to back link to my site on sites about web design because they average a much higher Page Rank (I also spend MUCH more of my time on those sites). I want to RANK for Real Estate keywords.
I fear the relevance (web design) will not let me rank for Real Estate Keywords. I know I can get a high Page Rank, but will it help me rank for real estate because the PR is earned on web design...
I don't care about ranking for any web design keywords. I know how difficult that can be, lol. Forbid I mention ranking for... SEO keywords.

Seo & Real Estate Site?
I am a Realtor. I am also a web developer. I want to make a site about real estate and web development. Primarily how I use my unique skills with web to sell homes.
A real estate website caps it's Page Rank very low. There are not a lot of good backlinks to get when compared to the web development industry. There are millions of blogs I participate in about web development/seo. There are a lot of blogs I participate in about real estate too; however, the real estate websites all have low page ranks. This is obviously because the seo/web development industries know how to build page rank, which makes it easier to accumulate it. It's difficult finding good outlets to get link power from in real estate.
How confused would google be? Is there an acceptable strategy to making this a reality?
Please point out all of the variables I am not seeing. Pros and Cons. I'm not an SEO pro. I would be going for the keyword Pensacola Real Estate. I would accumulate backlinks from the real estate industry and the web design industry.

I perform SEO every day. I am new to the profession. My employer is teaching me. I am however overly zealous and trying to learn via SEOMOZ.
