Thanks, Erick. We do have a verified listing for one of the locations (verified many months ago) and it isn't showing as expected. We're waiting on post cards for the other locations, but I am concerned that they won't show up either.

Our satellite office isn't showing up on Google maps. How can we add it?
We are trying to include maps to our locations on our "Contact" page, and in taking these maps from Google, we came upon the following issue:
We have Google+ listings for several of our satellite offices, which are set up through Carr Workplaces. When we look on maps, we can only find the Carr Workplace listing, rather than the listing for our business at that location. Obviously, we don't want to display the map that way on our own page; we want the map to show our business name.
I realize that Google only wants fully-staffed businesses to be displayed on maps, and so whether or not we belong there is up for debate within our company. That said, we'd like to know how to make the maps listing work regardless.
Thanks!

RE: Is my SEO company a scam?
I'm not at all familiar with what an epigraph is in the context of SEO (and a quick Google search wasn't enlightening), so I'd recommend telling them to remove the backlinks they built and leave your site alone.
Their comment about the relevancy of backlinks wasn't even true of SEO several years ago. That's just terrible, unethical, and lazy.

RE: Is my SEO company a scam?
As everyone else pointed out, you're definitely not working with a reputable company. Even Google receives solicitations from spammy SEOs (https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35291?hl=en is an informative page about how to hire an SEO).
If you can, tell them that you want them to use the time they have left to remove or disavow the links they've built. Otherwise, just tell them to stop.
I'd recommend searching for a local SEO company with positive reviews. SEO isn't a perfect science, so be wary of anyone who makes outlandish guarantees and promises fast results. Good SEO just doesn't work like that!

RE: H2 Tags- Can you have more than 1 H2 tag
If you think of H tags as part of an outline, it makes sense to have just one H1 but more than one H2, H3, etc.
The H1 should be your most important, broadest subject for the page, and then H2s, 3s, etc would relate to more specific aspects of that.

RE: Can H1 and Meta title be exactly the same ?
Exactly! You won't be penalized, but your competition will probably make better use of both elements as individual opportunities, and then you'll be outranked.

RE: Yext vs Localeze vs UBL for Local SEO
We've used all of these. I must say....YEXT scares me sometimes....I'm not sure why...but kinda like how YP.com scares me. We are a partner with YEXT and Localeze....and I worry about dupes/overlaps between the two trying to figure out which content to use. Anyone else use the two together and have any concerns?
I think WhiteSpark is also a great tool....
Thanks for the insight! Great stuff.

RE: How often do you submit to local search/citation sites?
Definitely helpful answers!
Everyone pretty much confirmed my suspicions. We get a plethora of Network Solutions "offers," and my boss likes to investigate them to see if they're really offering anything valuable. More often than not, they aren't.

How often do you submit to local search/citation sites?
I recently received a Network Solutions spam/offer email regarding their internet marketing packages. One of the "benefits" they cited was that they submit your information to local search/citation sites once a month, to keep it up-to-date.
I don't know about you guys, but my clients' information isn't changing on a frequent basis. I remember when it used to be a tactic to submit regularly to the same citation sites, but that seems like overkill now. Does anyone still do this, or is NS just trying to make their product sound good? Do we need to update citation sites frequently, or is it enough to update when there are actual changes to make?

RE: Why isn't my Facebook page showing up in search results?
Thanks for that! My boss updated it quickly yesterday ... it's fixed now.
I suppose Google is just slow to catch up. We have links to FB on a lot of our other sites, but I'm going to do some extra link building for the page over the next few days. Hopefully that will help!
