RE: Is it possible to find out how many indexed pages a website had at particular dates in the past?
Hi there,
Yes, all data is available in Google Search Console. From Search Console Dashboard go to > Google Index > Index Status > Advanced.
Hope that helps!

RE: If I nofollow outbound external links to minimize link juice loss > is it a good/bad thing?
Hi,
I don't necessarily agree that too many outbound links can harm your own SEO. In fact, Matt Cutts has tons of outbound links on his blog, so as long as links are relevant from a user perspective there shouldn't be any issues.
Back to the follow/nofollow, if you are linking out to trusted and relevant sources, I don't see any reason to nofollow the links. On the other hand, if you have user generated content, I would nofollow external links, because you won't always know where are they linking out.
Hope this helps!

It should be 300 queries/month if you are on $99/month Pro Plan. When did you join?

RE: Need help with my "ghost" blog...
Hi,
I did a quick check, your website is indexed by Google and you don't seem to have nofollow/noindex issues nor robots.txt issue with your Home Page. However, I can see that you are using noindex tags on some other pages like life, style and health. This may be the cause.
Also, I can see that your website isn't really optimised, that includes page titles (they are too short and don't target specific keywords), some pages have very short meta descriptions and is missing on some pages, you have multiple H1 on some pages, etc.
Also, I can't see Google Analytics set-up on this new website. Did you or your developer put 301 redirect from the old site to the new one?
I would advise you to remove noindex tags, configure your GA, optimise your site internally and you should be good to go.

RE: Error Code 804: HTTPS (SSL) Error Encountered
Hi,
I had the same issue with my website. As Dirk said, there is an issue with Moz crawling websites that use SNI.
But, double check that with Moz Support team to see whether it is a problem with Moz and not your site.

RE: Keywords in URL: sub-directory or single layer keywords?
Hi,
I would suggest using the first option (/christmas/decor). Google and other search engines would understand that "decor" page is about Christmas Decor, as you are using "christmas" subfolder as a parent of "decor" page.
Hope this helps!

Server Connection Error when using Google Speed Test Insight and GTMetrix
Hi Guys,
Recently got into the issue when testing load speed of my website (https://solvid.co.uk). Occasionally, Google Speed Insights gives me a server connection error which states _"PageSpeed was unable to connect to the server. Ensure that you are using the correct protocol (_http vs https), the page loads in a browser, and is accessible on the public internet."
Also, GTMetrix gives me an error as well, which states the following: "An error occurred fetching the page: HTTPS error: SSl connect attempt failed"
All of my redirects seem to be set-up correctly as well as the SSL certificate. I've contacted my hosting provider (godaddy), they are saying that everything is fine with the server and the installation. Also, tried in different browsers in incognito mode, still gives me the same error.
Until yesterday I haven't had such a problem. I've also attached the error screenshot links.
I would really appreciate your help!
Dmytro

RE: Spammy links
Hi,
I agree with the guys. As soon as the website gets popular, authoritative and valuable, other websites tend to simply copy stuff that you produce, including whole paragraphs of content and sometimes they don't even bother removing the links from the content.
Try to disavow as many as you can, but don't spend all of your time on it. As Dmitrii said, it is important to keep your spam score low. Hence, try to focus on building quality links that will easily outweight spammy ones.
Thanks,
