Hi.. Can a E-commerce site have a Google Authorship.

Hi Can a E-commerce site have a Google Authorship, and if yes i have learned google requires a face for Google Authorship, as they are applying Facial recognition with the authorship.
If So, how can an e-commerce website have an individual's face. ?
-
Thanks.. For your answers. @sebastian and @cmc-sd both...I agree its not right time now to publish authorship for e-commerce sites.. Might be later google comes with a ideal plan for e-commerce sites

Can it? Yes, of course. Should it? No. Searchers are being trained to expect that the authorship snippets mean articles and blog posts. If that's what they're expecting when they click on the search result, and instead they end up on a product page on an e-commerce site, they will leave. Save authorship markup for your informational content.

Hi,
You need to connect your site to a personal G+ account. At the moment it's not possible to connect the rel=author tag to a business. You can connect the rel=publisher to a business page but it's not an ideal solution.
If you're ok with having the e-commerce authorship go to 1 person then the following posts will tell you everything you need to know about implementing the tag.

How can a page rank for keywords that it does not have on it?
I have a client that is ranking in the top 10 for several keywords on their homepage. Their site has no purposeful SEO in it, there is barely any text on the homepage at all and none of the text are the keywords it is ranking for.

Is there a way to find out who is trying to damage my site
Hi, to cut the story short, i hired a seo guy to do work on my site, paid a lot of money, but then when he was let go all the links to the site were stripped and other work had vanished. I want to know if there is a way to prove this and to also check on any other damage that he could be doing at the moment to my site. The site was running high in the search engines and then dropped a short while after he was let go.

How can i get a higher ranking
Hey All, As a rookie on SEO, I optimised this page http://www.nhad.de/fernstudium/sprachkurse/arabisch/sprachkurse-arabisch/arabisch.aspx for the keywords Arabisch lernen. I saw a huge improvement from position 100+ to position 45. but now it's stuck around this position. Are there any things I missed on this page? Are there still things to increase the ranking? I hope to learn from you. thanks in advance!

Google rel hell
So apologies in advance for this question, but: Can someone explain whether as a site we should be using the "rel author" tag or the "rel publisher" tag? 1. We don't really need to distinguish between the people who write our content. 2. We definitely do need to establish ownership of our content, as unfortunately it has been widely copied. We are spending quite a bit of time filing DMCA notices. 3. Do we need to apply either tag to every page? Or does "del publisher" just need to be applied to the homepage to cover the rest of the site? 4. What looks better in the search results? - a person's face or a company logo? If prefer a face, but understand we need to promote our brand. Thanks P

Why does Google show old title?
I made some changes to title tags on a clients site over a month ago. Google has since crawled all the pages that the changes were made to. Here's the problem. For some of the pages, the old title is still showing in search results. Why does Google do this? 2) What can I do about it?

Site-wide keyword density
A colleague of mine was saying that he has been able to get top ranking for a high traffic term by using variations of that head term on multiple pages that are associated with the main page. For example,he would optimize a landing page for the high traffic word "Construction." He would then build pages under this landing page that are optimized for variations of this word: "Construction facts," "Industrial Construction Companies," "Construction Resource Allocator" etc. His theory is that the subpages add credibility with spiders that the root page is the best for that root page. This doesn't seem like it would work, but I'm curious as to what other people think.
