On Page Grader - We have keyword in Meta Description But does not show up
-
The on-page grader is not counting/picking up the keyword in the meta description.
We have double checked the meta description and re-uploaded the page, and checked the source code on-line.
The keyword is there in meta description, but not showing up in on-page-grader.

Appreciate your pointing out the spamminess of the description. All of the page description are being revised.

Thanks for pointing out what we all missed here ... sometimes working long hours results in missing the easy mistakes.

Mike's absolutely right. More importantly (and no offense) that is a terrible description line.
I would worry more about readability and less about keyword stuffing in your meta description. This is the second line that's going to get someone to click on your link instead of everyone else's.
Try and think of how it will look on a SERP instead of what keywords it has. Think about why you would click your link instead of some other link. That's the most important factor in this particular line of code, if you ask me.
You can have the best organic placement possible but if your site looks spammy and boring you won't get the clickthroughs you want.
Good luck!

Hi David,
In looking at your source, it looks like your meta description is, "Buy Trust Deeds from Trimark Funding Inc. - Buy Trust Deeds for High 9% Annual Returns - Consistent Monthly Income."
The keyword is in the meta keywords tag, but not in the meta description tag.
Hope this helps.
Mike

Moz Crawler Causing Server Timeouts... Crawling thousands of non-existant pages with query parameters
Moz crawler is crawling all pages like this: http://www.xxxx.com/?product_count=100&product_order=desc&product_orderby=date http://www.xxxx.com/?product_count=100&product_order=desc&paged=1 http://www.xxx.com/?product_count=100&product_order=desc&product_view=grid Last month it crawled 80,000 pages on a site with less than 100 pages. Is there a way to select only certain pages to be crawled? Right now it is still crawling this site, since Monday morning and it's Tuesday mid-day. Every Monday it is causing time-outs from high band width on our server. Just getting ready to delete this client from the account unless there is a solution someone can give us. Thanks.

Understanding Keyword Explorer SERP Analysis
Hi Guys Based on the attached SERP analysis provided by Keyword Explorer, the term 'silver jewelry' appears to have a lot of potential; it has good search volume, high opportunity and potential scores; however when you look at the metrics associated with the top 3 competing sites, and the fact page 1 is dominated by major brands with equally good metrics, then a difficulty score of 26, meaning easy; seems a bit unrealistic. I would like to hear what others have to say, or am I missing something here. Regards Peter H96KVmH

Moz Crawl Test Tool - SEO Web Crawler showing up with no details
So basically I have ran the Moz Crawl Test tool twice for this url "bubblingwithenergy.info" and both times the report has listed 1 URL when there is obviously a lot more if you check the site. My question is, why is the Moz Crawl only reporting 1 URL when there are heaps? Is there a possibility it is being blocked and if so what would be blocking it? This website is using a CMS called Infusion and it is based off CMSMS (CMS Made Simple). Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Can't get on page grader to work properly.
Hi I'm trying to optimize my pages with the on page grader tool but it keeps returning an F grade when I know my page is very well optimized. It is like something is blocking the page crawl but I have double checked my robots.txt and can't think of anything else that is causing a problem. I am trying to do www.hydrohobby.co.uk with the keyword hydroponics for starters but it is the same problem with all other page urls on my site and keywords I try to input. This is a new site made with cscart 4.0. I've graded pages on previous versions of this software with no problems. Can anyone help? Rob

On-Page Grader Levels
I see that On-Page Grader reports include a numerical number such as the following: Keyword Usage for audio book gift certificates = 15 I improved this page (http://www.audiobooksonline.com/audio-book-audiobook-gift-certificates.html) from 3 to 15 today. What is the maximum "grade" possible?

Why do the crawl diagnostics indicate duplicate page content among blog postings hosted by WordPress?
Does anyone know why the crawl diagnostics indicate duplicate page content regarding the blog we are hosting on WordPress? And does anyone know how to fix this issue? The content is not, or does not appear to be duplicate.
