    Hi,

I got a request from a potential client as he do not understand why his website cannot be found on Google. I've checked that and found out that the complete website is not listed (complete delist) at all - expect just one pdf file.
I've checked his robots.txt - but this is ok. I've checked the META Robots - but they are on index, follow ... ok so far. I've checked his backlinks but could not found any massive linking from bad pages - just 6 backlinks and only four of them from designdomains.com which looks like a linklist or so.

I've requested access to their GWT account if available in hope to find more infos, but does anyone of you may have a quick idea what els it could be? What could be the issue?

I think that they got delisted due to any bad reason ...

Let me know your Ideas ๐Ÿ™‚

    THANX ๐Ÿ™‚

    Sebi

Robots.txt says disallow to image and Theme (where i guess css and js is included)

      2nd
WebOfTrust warning to not enter the site because of not trustworthy

Thank you very much ๐Ÿ™‚ - meanwhile I found some spammy links too. Will tell him that. Looks like someone hacked his site before ๐Ÿ˜‰ I've just got the Administrator acces and loged in ... hell - will tell him to fire his webmaster as he probably didn't comply with the most basic rules of securing a Website -.-

Thank you very much again for your help ๐Ÿ™‚

Looks like you have been injected with spam links.  Used MajesticSEO to show the attached (sample).

I'd be assertive in getting into GWT asap.  I guess those URLs don't exist but it is still a big no.

If you go with the client disavow that domain for sure.

Right, but before I tell a potential client, that he fucked up his own website, I need to have some evidence for that - I haven't found them yet.

              Ok,

              here's the URL: http://www.hvla.com Here's the indexed pages ๐Ÿ˜‰ https://www.google.de/#q=site:http:%2F%2Fwww.hvla.com and here's the robots.txt: http://www.hvla.com/robots.txt
I haven't found anything suspiccious so far - even the small ammount of backlings from designdomain.com shouldn't kock him out. I will try to get ftp access to take a look at the .htaccess and to get GWT access - hope that helps.

Moz found a handfull of backlinks zo hvla.com. would that mean, that some of these pages has been indexed before? I mean does Moz count inboundlinks to pages which are indexed by Google?

              Thanx.

Without knowing the domain or any information in GWT nobody is going to be able to really help.

The only think I can think of is possibly .htaccess blocking Google.

Website Snippet Update in Search Console?

I have a company that I started working with that has an outdated and inaccurate snippet coming up.  See the link below. They changed their name from DK on Pittsburgh Sports to just DK Pittsburgh Sports several years ago, but the snippet is still putting the old info, including outdated and incorrect description. I'm not seeing that title or description anywhere on the site or a schema plugin.  How can we get it updated?  I have updated titles, etc. for the home page, and done a Fetch to get re-indexed.  Does Snippet have a different type of refresh that I can submit or edit? Thanks in advance https://g.co/kgs/qZAnAC

How ot optimise a website for competitive keywords?

Hi guys, I hope to find some good answers to my questions, because here are some of the best SEO's in the world. I'm doing SEO as a hobby for a few years and had some very good results before the latest Google updates. Now I'm not able to rank any website for competitive keywords. The last project I started is this website (man and van hire company targeting London market).
The problem is that I can't rank even in Top 100 in Google UK for the main keywords like: "man and van london" , "man and van service london" ,"london man & van"...
The site has over 1k good backlinks (according to Ahrefs), unique content, titles and descriptions but still can't rank well. Am i missing something? Few years back that was more than enough to rank well in Google.
I will be very grateful to hear your suggestions and opinions.

Website copying in Tweets from Twitter

Just noticed a web developer I work with has been copying tweets into the website - and these are displayed (and saved) one page at a time across hundreds of pages (this is so they can populate a twitter feed, I am told). How would you tackle this, now that the deed's been done? This is in Drupal. Your thoughts would be welcome as this is a new one to me. Thanks, Luke

Google indexed wrong pages of my website.

When I google site:www.ayurjeewan.com, after 8 pages, google shows Slider and shop pages. Which I don't want to be indexed. How can I get rid of these pages?

                      Credit Links on Client Websites

I know there have been several people who have asked this but a lot of them were back in 2012 before many of the google changes. My question is the same though. With all the changes with Google's algorithm. Is it okay to put your link on the bottom of your clients website. Like Web Design by, etc. Part of the reason is to drive traffic but also if someone is actually interested who designed the website, they will click it. But now reading about how bad links can hurt you tremendously, it makes me second guess if this is ok. My gut feeling says, no.

Effects of having both http and https on my website

You are able to view our website as either http and https on all pages. For example: You can type "http://mywebsite.com/index.html" and the site will remain as http: as you navigate the site. You can also type "https://mywebsite.com/index.html" and the site will remain as https: as you navigate the site. My question is....if you can view the entire site using either http or https, is this being seen as duplicate content/pages? Does the same hold true with "www.mywebsite.com" and "mywebsite.com"? Thanks!

Moving Content To Another Website With No Redirect?

I've got a website that has lots of valuable content and tools but it's been hit too hard by both Panda and Penguin. I came to the conclusion that I'd be better off with a new website as this one is going to hell no matter how much time and money I put in it. Had I started a new website the first time it got hit by Penguin, I'd be profitable today. I'd like to move some of that content to this other domain but I don't want to do 301 redirects as I don't want to pass bad link juice. I know I'll lose all links and visitors to the original website but I don't care. My only concern is duplicate content. I was thinking of setting the pages to noindex on the original website and wait until they don't appear in Google's index. Then I'd move them over to the new domain to be indexed again. Do you see any problem with this? Should I rewrite everything instead? I hate spinning content...!
