I know optimisation is now considered 'old hat' but like many old hats not only is it comfortable but it is (in my experience) still functional and working in ranking websites.

Yes there are plenty of other drivers, but I still consider optimisation to be important, hence the question

Google Reviews Plugin - Does This Impact Negatively On SEO By Diluting Optimisation?

From my (limited in many ways) understanding this puts hundreds if not thousands of extra words on a page - so this must surely be reducing the amount of optimisation?  And then could it actually lead to a decline in rankings?

Has anyone had any experience in this, I would love to use the Google Reviews plugin but just wanted to be sure first...

    Many thanks

    KT

@Kijeu745 Exactly I fully agree with you, that's why I have never used any nulled themes on my website. I personally believe that once you paly for something means that the cost is for the original product. I am highly against buying the nulled themes specially when you are having a money website like for example mine one is
ukskys.com. This is my bread and butter. If I use Nulled theme on it, it can get hacked. Saving few bucks will result in loss of entire business.

@sabirasifseo999 said in Google Reviews Plugin - Does This Impact Negatively On SEO By Diluting Optimisation:

I don't think so it is badly impact for SEO. It is an external script loading async on your website but there is a thing which might be considered as bad.  Sometime users who reviewed on google has private profiles which makes their profile picture 404 not found in google reviews plugin. I have googled it but didn't find any solution. So, i have come up with the lazy load solution but that's not permalink. It is just delayed loading the images which render the page quickly. Without using the lazy load the 404 not found links might take extra seconds for requests.  I used this plugin on my website  https://aeroshield.me/ to show the reviews on my event but removed it because of 404 images errors. Other than this i think it is ok.

        a. Go to source of website (right mouse click)

        b. Use Chrome Ctrl+f to search "plugins" and you will find all the plugins installed.

Showing reviews on your website is a good idea to have social proof. But make sure to keep it watch regularly for broken links.  You can use the broken link monitor plugin to keep things automated. for more info you view this boxing site which has borken link checker installed.

          1- goto source of website

2- use chrome ctrl+f to search "plugins" and you will find all the plugins installed.

          Thanks

                    Virtual URL Google not indexing?

canonical duplicate site structure url issue

Dear all, We have two URLs: The main URL which is crawled both by GSC and where Moz assigns our keywords is: https://andipaeditions.com/banksy/ The second one is called a virtual url by our developpers: https://andipaeditions.com/banksy/signedandunsignedprintsforsale/ This is currently not indexed by Google. We have been linking to the second URL and I am unable to see if this is passing juice/anything on to the main one /banksy/ Is it a canonical? The /banksy/ is the one that is being picked up in serps/by Moz and worry that the two similar URLs are splitting the signal. Should I redirect from the second to the first? Thank you

Does homepage SEO exist at all?

hi Just read a Yoast article explaining that the homepage should never be optimized for a specific keyword and should only be optimized for its business or brand name. i have a large site that I'd like to rank (or increase traffic for as I know people get irritated with that term now) for 'Campervan hire'. It has plenty of sub pages going after 'Campervan hire 'location'' for example. it makes sense to me for the homepage keyword - my core keyword - to be 'Campervan hire' and for the homepage to be optimised for this. However, the article I've just read (https://yoast.com/homepage-seo/) suggests a separate page for this keyword. What are your thoughts pls?? thanks

How does Google treat Dynamic Titles?

Let's say my website can be accessed in only 3 states Colorado, Arizona and Ohio. I want to display different information to each visitor based on where they are located. For this I would also like the title to change based on their location. Not quite sure how Google we treat the title and rank the site.... Any resources you can provide would be helpful. Thanks

Blocking Subdomain from Google Crawl and Index

Hey everybody, how is it going? I have a simple question, that i need answered. I have a main domain, lets call it domain.com. Recently our company will launch a series of promotions for which we will use cname subdomains, i.e try.domain.com, or buy.domain.com. They will serve a commercial objective, nothing more. What is the best way to block such domains from being indexed in Google, also from counting as a subdomain from the domain.com. Robots.txt, No-follow, etc? Hope to hear from you, Best Regards,

Does Google look at page design

Hi everybody, At the moment i'm creating several webshops and websites with the same layout, so visitors can recognize the websites are from the same company. But i was wondering: Does google look at the layout of a webpage that it's not a copy of another website? This because loads of website have the same wordpress/joomla templates etc, or doesn't this effect rankingpositions? Thank you,

Do images on a CDN affect my Google Ranking?

I have recently switched my images to a CDN (MaxCDN) and all of the images within my post are now get loaded directly from the CDN. Will this affect my Google ranking? Do Google care if the image is hosted physicaly on the domain?

                    Is an Overflow SEO friendly

Is an "overflow" (scrollbar) seo and Google friendly?  I only ask because it hides part of the visible text.

                    Best SEO structure for blog

What is the best SEO page/link structure for a blog with, say 100 posts that grows at a rate of 4 per month? Each post is 500+ words with charts/graphics; they're not simple one paragraph postings. Rather than use a CMS I have a hand crafted HTML/CSS blog (for tighter integration with the parent site, some dynamic data effects, and in general to have total control). I have a sidebar with headlines from all prior posts, and my blog home page is a 1 line summary of each article. I feel that after 100 articles the sidebar and home page have too many links on them. What is the optimal way to split them up? They are all covering the same niche topic that my site is about. I thought of making the side bar and home page only have the most recent 25 postings, and then create an archive directory for older posts. But categorizing by time doesn't really help someone looking for a specific topic. I could tag each entry with 2-3 keywords and then make the sidebar a sorted list of tags. Clicking on a tag would then show an intermediate index of all articles that have that tag, and then you could click on an article title to read the whole article. Or is there some other strategy that is optimal for SEO and the indexing robots? Is it bad to have a blog that is too heirarchical (where articles are 3 levels down from the root domain) or too flat (if there are 100s of entries)? Thanks for any thoughts or pointers.
