MOZ Starter Crawl Not Working
-
Hello,
I just added a new subdomain as one of my campaigns on MOZ. The starter crawl report keeps coming back to me with just one page crawled (it should crawl up to 250 pages). I've deleted and added this subdomain three times and it continues to present me with this problem.I've even waited a week for the full crawl report but that also showed just one page crawled.
Does anybody know why this is happening?
Thanks!

Hi. We are still having an issue with this initial crawl. How can we stop the server from timing out? Is there a certain setting that could be prohibiting the moz crawl?
The site, www.cuptainers.com seems to be up and accessible with no down time.
Thank you,
Andrew

Hello Andrew,
This is Abe from the Help team at Moz! After looking into your campaign with 1 page crawled, I think I have found the culprit. Your server seems to be timing out when we attempt to contact the host. Your web admin can usually fix this from there side of the controls. You can verify this timeout by downloading the CSV from your Crawl Diagnostics in this campaign and scrolling to the right. One the server allows us, we will be able to crawl your site without a problem.
I hope this info helps!

Is the MOZ Community Ranking broken?
I have been busy and away from MOZ for a while, but over the years I have been an active member of the community. I have over 2000 Moz points and usually if you haven't been on in the specified time period you become unranked, however this usually updates in 24 hours of logging back in. I have been active again since Sunday and I am still unranked yet I have gained several more points answering a couple of questions. My question is - have I missed something and the system has changed (not according to the top users table) or is the system broken?

MOZ not accepting recent changes
We have made some changes on our website according to the SEO standards per Moz report and did some crawler tests but it seems that MOZ is not crawling our recent changes. It is showing the results according to the previous data. What can be the problem here?

Are Moz Ratings that reliable/correlated against SERPS?
So 3 weeks in Penguin 2.0 and after an initial drop in rankings (4-5 places on top keywords from rank 1), I have seen a small climb in rankings by a couple places but have seen a huge jump in my DA, PA and Domain trust/rank... That FAR surpasses any other magicians website. However I am ranking below some really really poorly rated sites. I am getting a PA of 51 which is really high for the industry (maybe the highest). If this is the case, why am I not number one for every keyword in my demographic?
Moz Pro | | TomLondon
I know this is asked a lot but how reliable are Moz stats, I know no one can really know how Google rank sites on SERPS but if Moz is the best shouldn't it be kinda close? Any thoughts on how accurate Moz rank is and also if it can be used as some indication of the SEO power behind a website.0 -
Why is my domain not being crawled anymore?
I just noticed that right around 12/1/2012, SEOMoz stopped crawling all but two pages out of the 400 or so on my website at www.TrustworthyCare.com . I speculate that this is probably due to some dumb mistake I made at that time, but I can't for the life of me figure out what that mistake was. Before that, the weekly crawls included all 400 or so pages. I wonder whether it's something that changed in our .htaccess file. Here's how that file looks now; can anyone see what is wrong there, or perhaps offer other suggestions if it doesn't look like anything is wrong in it? Thanks! Tim PS - I'm a small business owner, not an SEO or software engineer. PPS - I found and read this page, but I've pretty much tried the things described there (I think): How well is your Internet marketing working for your business?
Not asking about specifics of money, but this is just a general question to see what kind of return people get for their Internet marketing time investment.. I would say I'm getting over 40,000 hits per year for one business which is holiday cottages but I only own one cottage and act as an agent for three other clients. Because the campaign is working well for me at the moment I get probably 95% occupancy throughout the year, which you would have no chance of accomplishing without SEO intensive input. If I had to pay £0.50 a click approximately obviously it wouldn't be worthwhile, especially when you realise that a percentage of the traffic and not related to your product. I also have a second business which is installing wireless security alarms over the Internet and once again approximate traffic at the moment is almost approaching 40,000 again per year. Now I'm sure there are some big hitters out but my general question is how productive, is you're organic results and Internet marketing for your personal business in comparison to what it would cost you if you had to pay per click? I'm kind of wondering how well the Internet is working people on this forum for their particular businesses? Good, Bad ? whats your story ? Cheers alan

The Campaign name is Artigos para festa and should scan the whole domain festaexpress.com. But it crels only 100 pages I even tried to create a new campaign named Festa Express - Root Domain to check if it scans but had the same problem it crawled only 199 pages. Hope to have a solution. Thanks,
