Separate Google+ page per blog language?
-
Our corporate blog is currently online in four different languages (English, Dutch, German and French):
For these different blogging domains we have one single Google+ page on which we share the blogs' content in different languages.
Would it be better to make four separate Google+ pages (per blogging domain)? What would be the advantages/disadvantages?
Also, each article is posted in four different languages. But the author stays the same for all different languages. So one author always posts content in English, Dutch, German and French. Could Google consider this as spam?

Hi Jef,
The best thing to do, is have a read here. The hreflang option would serve you nicely here.
You won't need a separate G+ account for each either. Having the same author is absolutely fine but just make sure you reference each of the sites as a contributor to that site.
Google understands, and handles, multiple language situations pretty well - just make sure you put in the necessary code for them.

Rel=Publisher On Business Blog
Hello! We were just wondering if we can add the Rel=Publisher on our business blog? We would like to have any of our blog posts that rank to have the small thumbnail/logo of our business similar to the way the rel=author tag works in the serps. All posts are published by our business and we would not like any of our personal pictures showing up. Any help greatly appreciated! Thank You!

Makeoverfor our Facebook page titles! question about open graph and Google
Hello, We have two Facebook pages for our company, one in English and one in Arabic. A few weeks ago we wanted to change the Facebook page titles but this option was not allowed for both pages. Now Facebook is giving us an option to change the title for both pages: We had a lengthy discussion regarding the best way to name our Facebook pages. Currently our Facebook pages titles are: For the one in English: "X" ( X - our brand name in English*) For the page in Arabic: "X - Arabic" ( X- our brand name in English*) We agreed to change the title for the page in English to: X - (The main 3 keywords in our brand's field in English) ( X - our brand name in English).* for the Arabic page we suggested to change the title to: X - (The main 3 keywords in our company field in Arabic)** ( X - our brand name in English).* **** We will translate the main 3 keywords to Arabic** We have a few questions: - How does the search work in Facebook? Does the open graph algorithm take into account the page's content and/or its title and description? - Is there any preferred way to name the Facebook pages? We were debating using the company's slogans versus the main keywords for our brand. ? Or should the title contain just the brand name? - What components of the Facebook page title and URL affect our page's visibility in Google for a search on our brand name? It's important to mention that Google currently does not show the Arabic page in the 1st page in Google. Thank you in advance for your help!

Should you have both google authorship & publisher set up on a website?
I have read that its a good idea to have both rel=author & rel= publisher set up on a website If so What is the best way to set it up to where rel=author and rel=publisher appear in your website source code? I use wordpress genesis site and have the Yoast seo plugin **In the user profile section on WP there is an area to enter google Authorship link **In the Yoast dashboard there is a place to enter google publisher link. When I check my source code…….I see rel=publisher only on the home page, however ALL my other WordPress Pages and Posts have rel=author. Does that sound correct?

Is there a way to set up a business Facebook page without linking it to a client's personal page or having to use our own employee's personal page?
Our clients want us to manage their FB pages. I need to know how we can do this without having to enter through the FB page of whomever set up the business account. I'm aware of the ability of the person who set up the Business page to allow admin access, but that too requires an our employee to give his or her personal FB info for this access. In the same vein, a former employee set up a client's FB page using his own personal account and now when we enter the client's business page, we do not have access to the search window and we don't have the ability to go to other pages to "like" other pages - the button doesn't even appear if we are signed in and search a FB page through an engine. We do have the ability to see Admin settings and metrics but we don't have the news feed, and we have other limited access/abilities. I would like to have a central access so neither client or our employee has to offer personal FB log in information. Thank you, Julie
