Page is an A but does not rank extremely good… Any ideas?

Hi!
My page werkzeug-kasten.com is not ranking the way it should for "Webdesign Freiburg" on google Germany.
Although it receives an A it is only seen on page 2 although the competition is not that hard.
Do you have any ideas why that is and what I could improve?
Best regards
Marc

It's important to remember that the on-page grader only looks at how well optimized your page is for that keyword, which is just one factor out of many different things Google looks at to rank your site. Fixing technical problems and building additional links to your page and site will be very important to your ranking well. Good luck!

WOW! Issues
Lots and lots of .js & .css files! Each time the server has to go and fetch a file it's time added to the load time.
Your load time is around 17 seconds which should be below 1 second for optimal experience.
Lack of content also doesn't enthuse Google.
Schema.org will help with the site too!
Make sure it's on DMOZ.org too, may take a while to be listed.
Fix these and see a difference.

Just as Trevor says - you need text. LOT of text. This is actual text on your homepage:

Wir bieten Ihnen:

Professionelles Webdesign mit gutem SEO macht Ihr Unternehmen erfolgreicher.
Lassen Sie sich ganz unverbindlich beraten: 07664 - 920 94 35 / 0176 - 307 89 512Now funny part - you have much more content in your menu. But guess? Menu is hidden with width:0 and text is devalued. That's why you need text. Lot of text on your home page. Also on other pages. I found that many pages are just 2-3 images w/o text. There is no way to rank if there isn't text.

Sounds like your on-page optimisation is good. However, your site lacks content. There is very little information on it at all. Add some more text body to your homepage and you will almost certainly rise in the rankings. Create some pages with information for your site visitors. A few more back links won't go amiss either. Good luck!

Should I optimize the login page? Will it affect the website SEO ranking?
I'm trying to resolve the site crawl issues that we have on our website. One of the links that has different issue types together is our login page. Currently we have two login pages that have the same content but different sub domains. **However I'm wondering if optimizing SEO on our login pages affects our website SEO ranking and if it's something better to do or not. ** To point out the details of the issues, the issue types that the logins pages have are "duplicate title", "duplicate content", "missing H1", "missing description", "thin content", "missing canonical tag" I'd appreciate your help, thank you!

Does you page need to be unique to rank
What I mean by unique is : Let's imagine I want to rank one "seo ranking factors." In order to compete do I need to have (in terms of design) that is totally different than everything out there or can I rank with a page that is presented in a very similar way than everything out there but with different content. Thank you,

We are switching our CMS local pages from a subdomain approach to a subfolder approach. What's the best way to handle this? Should we redirect every local subdomain page to its new subfolder page?
We are looking to create a new subfolder approach within our website versus our current subdomain approach. How should we go about handling this politely as to not lose everything we've worked on up to this point using the subdomain approach? Do we need to redirect every subdomain URL to the new subfolder page? Our current local pages subdomain set up: stores.websitename.com How we plan on adding our new local subfolder set-up: websitename.com/stores/state/city/storelocation Any and all help is appreciated.

The Wrong Page Is Still The Only One Ranking
For some reason, the search term "Tampa Personal Injury Attorney," shows this page of our's http://www.kempruge.com/personal-injury/ on the second page, but omits this page http://www.kempruge.com/tampa-personal-injury-attorney/ (the correct one). The correct one only shows up in omitted results. I have posted this question before. I made the changes suggested to me, and it actually worked for a couple weeks. But, it reverted back. I tried for the last two months to fix this on my own, but I just can't figure it out. Does anyone have any idea what to do here? Incredibly appreciative of any assistance, Ruben

Show parts of page A on page B & C?
Good afternoon,
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | rayvensoft
A quick question. I am working on a website which has a large page with different sections. Lets say: Page 1
SECTION A
SECTION B
SECTION C Now, they are adding a new area where they want to show only certain sections, so it would look like this: Page 2
SECTION A Page 3
SECTION C Page 4
SECTION D So my question is, would a rel='canonical' tag back to Page 1 be the correct way of preempting any duplicate content issues? I do not need Page 2-4 to even be indexed, it is just a matter of usability and giving the users what they are looking for without all the rest of the extra stuff. Gracias. Tesekürler. Salamat Ko. Thanks. (bonus thumbs up for anybody who knows which languages each of those are) 🙂0 -

Any ideas?
Hi there. We've been working on this site for a few months now - http://www.gear-zone.co.uk/. We were hired as the previous agency was seeing traffic fall by 40% year on year consistently. Now, we've managed to stop that drop, but traffic recovery in Google (Bing and Yahoo are fine) is being really sluggish. Here's what we've done: Converted URLs from dynamic to static Sorted duplicate content errors Cut down the number of on-page links (Still not under a hundred, but that's really tricky) Carried out on-page optimisation on hundreds of inner pages, including adding new content Does anybody have any ideas on anything we cou;d be missing? We're just starting to get going on link building, so that's the next step. Thanks!
