Can I make iframe video SEO friendly?
-
Hello there,
Is it possible to make iframe SEO friendly? I have to use iframe to add video to the page. I know I can use the name and title attributes, but will it help to rank my page? Also can I put alternative content to describe the video?
some iframe examples:
<iframe<br>name="example-name-a"
width="300"
height="300"
src="example-a.html">
Alternate content video a</iframe<br><iframe <br="">name="Example-video-name-b"<br /> title="Example-video-title-b"<br /> width="300"<br /> height="300"<br /> frameborder="0"<br /> src="example-b.html"><br /></iframe>

Are the video's on a secondary site i.e. YouTube? If so what you suggested about writing new descriptions for te videos would help, ensuring that the videos have their individual own pages unless they're all about the same subject.
Also this way you can use H1 and TITLE tags too!
Regards
Dave

why google never shows Coursera or Udemy videos in the SERP?
I work for a website pretty much like Coursera, and google never brings up our videos in the SERP. It has been indexed and Search Console URL Inspection tool identifies it as a video object. is it a technical issue or just google doesn't like to show us in the SERP? Is there any way to fix this?

Video Syndication in 2016
This doesn't seem to have been discussed here for a number of years, so I'm wondering what people think of video syndication in 2016? Is it a good idea for website SEO (backlinks in accompanying text)? Or for raising general web presence? Or generally pushing the video itself up the SERPS? Or is it better to concentrate everything on Youtube? I'm looking to raise a website profile that produces 4-5 videos a week presently but is only getting an average of 500-1000 views in each video.

Video on Home page
Would it be good SEO practice to place a video on the home page? http://villasdiani.com Right in the middle of the home page is a text about Villas Diani, I would like to remove it and rather place there always one of our newest videos which will start play once somebody lands there. As we are the only one of our competitor who has also videos of property rentals I would like to make out of it an advantage for our website which is not ranking:-( I am very new to seo and I am very scared to do such move which might even worsen all:-( I will appreciate any help

What Tactics Are You Using for Video Marketing?
Hey everybody, I finally started shooting some screen capture videos and it is actually fun! Right now, I am uploading to Youtube and soon, Vimeo. Next, I embed them on a post and share it around a few social sites, Tweet it, and share it on my Facebook Page. I know there are more effective ways and sites for doing this. What tips can you Mozzers share? Thanks, Jared

Can you get in trouble/get results by sub-dividing one physical address into suites for local search?
We have a client in our area that offers a multitude of home services -- plumbing, HVAC repair, landscaping, etc. -- out of one physical location. It makes it difficult for them to rank highly for all of their services in local search since many of the competitors that rank highly only offer one of the services that they do. They have come to me asking if they could create a Google place page for each service by making imaginary suites for their main address. So, for example, plumbing would be located at 100 Main Street, Suite A; and HVAC repair would be located at 100 Main St., Suite B; etc.? Seems like this is either a great idea or could get you into some Google trouble. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Thanks
