Long tail software

I am trying to optimise on line shop. At begining I was focused on small number of keywords, but now I am considering using 'long tail' technique.
Is there any software supporting/helping with 'long tail' seo, as it seems impossible to optimise for all of those pharses?
How should link to subpages to get best results?
Any other information regarding 'long tail' seo would be much appreciated.

Have you tried SEM Rush yet? It is a good place to build a list of several thousand keywords that you do not currently get traffic for by giving you competitive analysis on sites that compete with you.
There is also Hit Tail which builds lists of long tail terms that people already use to search for your site, so that you can add these terms to the list of things you want to optimize for.
Let me know what you think about these two tools, so that I can get an idea of what to recommend next if these do not fit the bill

The shop I'm optimising has more than 10k products. I was thinking about one term per page (product name). What are you suggestions?
How can I find right keywords? I was thinking about using h1 content (product name) as anchor for inlinks. Is it a good idea?

How big of a keyword list are you trying to build, roughly? Hundreds? Thousands? Millions?
How many URLs do you want to manage? One page per term, many pages per term, many terms per page?
How big of a team or budget for outsourcing do you have?
I have a few ideas, but I don't want to tell you anything useless!

Long URLs
My website is hosted by Hubspot. When I create a blog, the URL, as an example, would be: http://www.boxtheorygold.com/blog/bid/27061/Manage-By-the-Numbers/ Instead I am getting the URL below. Google Webmaster tools and moz see this as an error and google says it can't crawl because it is a non-existent page. Users cannot see this page, and Hubspot can't figure it out, but google and moz see it. This problem is occurring on about 25 blogs out of 150. Any ideas? And thanks. Issue: Title Element Too Long !
hello , i found this issue in seomoz campaigns. i see many links blocked by google for this reason . but something wrong here for example i see this link like that in seomoz dashboard Wagdy Hassan, Author at Seo Seek : Seo Tutorials , Seo Tools , Make Money Online http://seo-seek.com/author/wagdys/ and its already not in google. but when i open the link http://seo-seek.com/author/wagdys/ the title is " Wagdy Hassan " i fixed it 6 days ago. what is wrong with the site? also i still waiting google to put the new results .. wait for your answer, Thanks 🙂

SEOMoz Software
I want to start off with stating that i am truly an advocate of SEOMoz and the great stuff they have done for the inbound community that we all know and love. I've been an active member since July 2010 and a paying pro member since December 2010. The software has always been monumental in helping my clients achieve their goals. However, in the past few months i have received nothing short of buggy unreliable software. The keyword difficulty tool never returns difficulty results. The Adwords data has been gone since i can remember. The rank tracker tool is successfull close to 1 out of 5 times. OSE is updated terribly slow compared to competitors. Plus, I have had to write emails to get my campaigns to be manually refreshed to see new ranking data. I have simply missed deadlines because my data is always delayed or missing from the software. Am i an anomaly here? does anyone have these problems? I have been researching some new tools as a replacement but i have yet to find anything as robust as the old SEOMoz. I'd love some feedback. We're currently looking for a product that has the capability of providing a comprehensive list of backlinks pointing to our domain, which currently has 400+ URLs. We've tried SEOMoz Pro, Google Webmaster Tools, and Majestic SEO. Does anyone have any recommendations or tips on getting the best report of backlinks?

Handling long URLs and overly-dynamic URLs on eCommerce site
Hello Forum, I've been optimizing an eCommerce site and our SEOmoz crawls are favorable for the most part, except for long URLs and overly-dynamic URLs. These issues stem from two URL types: Layered navigation (faceted search) and non-Google internal search results. I outline the issues for each below. We use an SEO-friendly URL structure for our product category pages, but once bots start "clicking" our layered navigation options, all the parameters are appended to our SEO-friendly urls, causing the SEOmoz crawl warnings. Layered Navigation :

SEO-Friendly Category Page: oursite.com/shop/meditation-cushions.html Effects of layered navigation: oursite.com/shop/meditation-cushions.html?bolster_material_quality=414&bolsters_appearance=206&color=12&dir=asc&height=291&order=name As you can see the parameters include product attributes and page sorts. I should note that all pages generated by these parameters use the element to point back to the SEO-friendly URL We have also set up Google's Webmaster Tools to handle these parameters. Internal Search Function:
Our URLs start off simple: oursite.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=brown. Then the bot clicks all the layered navigation options, yielding oursite.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?appearance=54&cat=67&clothing_material=83&color=12&product_color=559&q=brown. Also, all search results are set to noindex,follow. My question is: Should we worry about these overly-dynamic and long ULR warnings? We have set up canonical elements, "noindex,follow" solutions, and configured Webmaster Tools to handle our parameters. If these are a concern, how would you resolve these issues?0 -
& VS & - Title too long?
It seems that SEO Moz inturprets & as the html ascii character code: & in my titles. This is pushing the titles over the limit by 1 or 2 characters in some cases. Does this matter? does google actually treat & the same way? or is this an SEO Moz bug?
