Are site profile links from sites like Quantcast still a Google friendly quick win?
-
I heard one of the speakers from Link Love suggest getting an easy high PR link from Quantcast.by creating a site profile page. What is everyone's opinion on the value of this type of link when blended with other types of link building activity. Low, Moderate?
What is the best way to find these types of link profile opportunities? Any one have a good list?

Thanks for the background Oleg, Could someone jump in and let me know the best way to locate these types of high PR profile links - like Quantcast?

Used to be huge, pretty sure most of them have been discounted greatly. Case in point: Google ignores links from updowner (which is one of those whois/site stats sites). My guess is that they do the same for all of those types of sites.
But you have inspired me to run a test to see how effective they still are

Back link from site with DA of 72 to a website domain. Clicking on the link redirects to our website not the attended one.
Hi,

I've ran a back link check and discovered a good back link to a site which then gets redirected back to my company's website. I have a feeling that an old SEO agency has purchased a small website which has a decent link back from a relevant organisation with a high Domain authority and then redirects the domain to our website to get the link juice. What are your thought on this? Is this really bad practise and possibly damaging? Thanks, Jim0 -

Should I Disavow a Link Like This?
I just saw this link appear for my website (www.webhostinghero.com) in ahrefs.com this morning: http://freedatingsiteregistry.com/tag/website-template/ (search for text anchor "hosting reseller") Obviously it's a scraper site. Other than that, my link profile is clean. Should I disavow this?

Why Google is not getting many of the links to my site?
Hello, I have a website for cosmetics, selling and a lot of information (http://www.vipcosmetica.com). For about half a year I've been working also in seo for several google keywords. My question is about the external links to my site. Using different tools, including those of SEOMoz, I see just a few links to my site, however there are plenty, because I've been putting them myself, in public directories, related blogs, industry websites and so on. Alexa shows 5 links only, OpenSiteExplorer shows 4, and Market Samurai 9. I thinks theres should be like 50-60 links, minimum, in pages with good google PR (Youtube, Vimeo, Vulka, Hotfrog, Digg, Flickr, etc.). In Alexa, recently two more links appeared, from two blogs that have copied some content from my site (priveta policy) without changing the original links that point to other pages on my site, and those are the links that Alexa shows now. What could be the reason the rest of the links do not appear at all? Thank you very much

Is there way to identify all back links throughout a site or do I have to check one site page at a time? Thanks!
Sorry if it is obvious, but I can't seem to figure it out. I'd like to be able to run a report that will list all of the back links on every page of my site.
