Google's Structured Data Testing Tool? No Data
-
I'm stumped as to why some of the pages on my website return no data from Google's Structured Data Testing Tool while other pages work fine and return the appropriate data.
My home page http://www.parkseo.net returns no data while many inner pages do.
http://www.parkseo.net Returns No Data
http://www.parkseo.net/citation-submission.html Does Return Data.
I have racked my brains out trying to figure out why some pages return data and others don't. Any help on this issue would be greatly appricated.
Cheers!

Steve, if you ever figure out what the problem was, please let me know. I've got two different client sites that have the "invalid URL" problem. I've dug through and cleaned them both up via the usual HTML validator, thinking maybe it was some unclosed tag or something sending the parsers off into La-La Land....to no avail

Our site had been showing up in the structured data tool since it began. All of a sudden within the last few days we noticed that when we type in our home page the message no longer shares our author data, and schema, but returns: Invalid URL or page not found
When we use the html tab and add our code, all our mark ups are showing up.
We are baffled as the site is still indexed on google. We have applied the same code to two other sites, and they work fine.

I added 2 new web pages over the weekend and the information showed up immediately in the tool. The structured data tool does not index, it goes out and pulls in the current live data from the Title Tag but it does not display the description data. To test this change the data in the Title Tag and refresh the preview button and the data is updated immediately. From my observation Google only needs Title Tag info to display a Rich Snippet. Go ahead and test it. In fact you can add a new page to your website and a Rich Snippet shows up immediately. This is why I am stumped.
I have resubmitted and indexed the entire site through the webmaster tool. I'll just have to wait and see if that makes a difference.
Thanks for you input Matt.

I'm not sure why the citation page returns a preview but to be fair, it's a tool to test your markup and the page that's not returning anything doesn't have any rich snippet markup, does it?
In troubleshooting, it says:
Have you supplied enough information?
Google needs certain data to generate a rich snippet preview for each product type. For example, a Review without a reviewer or a Review-aggregate without a count will not generate a preview. A Person without enough marked-up information, or an event without a date or venue, won't generate a rich snippet either. To see required properties, check the article for each content type.
So maybe it just sees the main page as "not enough info" - although again, why it returns any preview on sub-pages is beyond me.

In Google Webmaster Tools, I have a coverage issue. I am getting this error message: Alternate page with proper canonical tag Status: Excluded. It gives the below blog post page as an example. Any idea how to resolve? At one time, I was using handl utm grabber, but the plugin is deactivated on my website. https://www.savacations.com/turrialba-costa-ricas-garden-city/?utm_source=deleted&utm_medium=deleted&utm_term=deleted&utm_content=deleted&utm_campaign=deleted&gclid=deleted5.

Chinese Sites Linking With Bizarre Keywords Creating 404's
Just ran a link profile, and have noticed for the first time many spammy Chinese sites linking to my site with spammy keywords such as "Buy Nike" or "Get Viagra". Making matters worse, they're linking to pages that are creating 404's. Can anybody explain what's going on, and what I can do?

Using the same content on different TLD's
HI Everyone, We have clients for whom we are going to work with in different countries but sometimes with the same language. For example we might have a client in a competitive niche working in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (Swiss German) ie we're going to potentially rewrite our website three times in German, We're thinking of using Google's href lang tags and use pretty much the same content - is this a safe option, has anyone actually tries this successfully or otherwise? All answers appreciated. Cheers, Mel.

How do I prevent 404's from hurting my site?
I manage a real estate broker's site on which the individual MLS listing pages continually create 404 pages as properties are sold. So, on a site with 2200 pages indexed, roughly half are 404s at any given time. What can I do to mitigate any potential harm from this?

After reading of Google's so called "over-optimization" penalty, is there a penalty for changing title tags too frequently?
In other words, does title tag change frequency hurt SEO ? After changing my title tags, I have noticed a steep decline in impressions, but an increase in CTR and rankings. I'd like to once again change the title tags to try and regain impressions. Is there any penalty for changing title tags too often? From SEO forums online, there seems to be a bit of confusion on this subject...

.com ranking over other ccTLD's that were created
We had a ecommerce website that used to function as the website for every other locale we had around the world. For example the French version was Domain.com/fr_FR/ or a German version in English would be Domain.com/en_DE/. Recently we moved all of our larger international locales to their corresponding ccTLD so no we have Domain.fr and Domain.de.(This happened about two months ago) The problem with this is that we are getting hardly any organic traffic and sales on these new TLD's. I am thinking this is because they are new but I am not positive. If you compare the traffic we used to see on the old domain versus the traffic we see on the new domain it is a lot less. I am currently going through to make sure that all of the old pages are not up and the next thing I want to know is for the old pages would it be better to use a 301 re-direct or a rel=canonical to the new ccTLD to avoid duplicate content and those old pages from out ranking our new pages? Also what are some other causes for our traffic being down so much? It just seems that there is a much bigger problem but I don't know what it could be.
