Site Architecture for a Services Company

Hey everyone,
I'm doing the keyword research for a new virtual assistant services website that I am building.
Being that there's almost a limitless number of services that a customer can outsource to a virtual assistant, I have a lot of service keyword options.
Here's the problem: I don't know how to layout my services in a scalable fashion so that I can continue to add onto the services list (each with their own unique and helpful page) after the website is published.
I have two options:
1. Create a service page with categories, each with links to the individual services. Like on my competitor: http://www.virtualemployee.com/services but with links to pages focused on the individual service keyword (ex. virtual receptionist services).
2. Don't have a services page, but include the services as blog posts like on my competitor's website: http://www.virtualstafffinder.com/blog.
Obviously, the blog would be much more "scalable" in the terms of adding more services. It also reduces a lot of clutter on my website. However, it's not categorized like the average service or e-commerce website. Not sure if this is necessarily a bad thing.
What do you think?

I'm still leaning towards option #2 because there are literally hundreds of things that you can outsource to a virtual assistant (VA). Because of that, I believe the user experience would be better just to have a services page only listing the 10 most common services that you can outsource to a VA. Do you agree?
I have the following questions about option #2:
1. Will each page have less page rank (since it's linked from the blog)? Or will it effect rankings at all since it's in the blog section of my site?
2. The page url for each service would be www.taskbullet.com/keyword (in the blog) rather than www.taskbullet.com/virtual-assistant-services/keyword (in the services section). Would this make much of a difference with rankings?
3. The content would be a blog post rather than web content. In your opinion, do you think that the content as a blog post would convert higher than a service page since it's more of a soft sell? For example, I would be creating a blog post like this: http://www.virtualstafffinder.com/virtual-assistant-transcription/
rather than a services page that talks about VA transcription.Again, your help is greatly appreciated!

I would go with option 1, and then blog about long tail keywords that answer questions at the top and middle of the sales funnel.
I do a lot of service based websites.
Try gathercontent.com to organize everything. It's a great app.

For ranking purposes I don't think it will make much of a difference whether you go with blog posts or service pages. I think it just a matter of preference. If I HAD to choose, I would probably go with adding the pages and created a "services" page with links to each specific page!
I'll be interested to see others responses...

What to do about one site dominating search results? (multiple pages ranking)?
Anybody have thoughts on dealing with search results where the same site gets listed multiple times? "weebly vs wix" is one example (same site #1-3, repetitive articles, not crazy high authority), but I see this now and then. I know Google likes variety, so it's weird for me to see results like this dominating search results. Thoughts? What gets these sites to take over the top rankings for a specific term? Another how the *%#^ is this site ranking question
I saw a question posted by someone a while back asking how a certain (in their opinion crappy) site was ranking in the top then. It happened that there were some good reasons for that site ranking. Well.... I have stumbled on a site that seems to be ranking for (almost) no reason at all: relatively low DA/PA very few inbound links (none seem to be that special) thin content The only thing I can think of, is that the site has the keyword in the domain name. But looking at the search results, there are other domains with exact match keyword in URL and somewhat stronger metrics that don't rank.

Open Site Explorer is not showing dmT. Where do I go to get this metric.
Just trying to understand the video I watched on Link Building w/ Open Site Explorer. I'm not seeing the dmT metric in the live version. Has it been replaced by something else. Or is there someplace else I need to look for it?

Image only site on top of Google
Hi Everyone, I'm trying to rank in Google for 'Hid xenon' in the netherlands, but there is one site above all results: http://bit.ly/qlsjne As you can see the site almost has no backlinks, and has not a single word in it's content, all images. it's a keyword only domain, and that's probably the only reason why it's ranking that high, but that means then that i can never get higher then him in Google because of it's domainname? I would like a good SEO company
Hi, I know this must be a repeated question but I would like to have an SEO company that would take care of getting my site on the top three pages of google and I would like some advice over my website. I have been investing in link building for a month now but I think my meta tag might not be the most appropriate, i should probably have various and came across your website. I have found zero negative feed back on your company, I run other business but this is my first online experience and don't have the time to give it the SEO so with that in mind I would like to know what SEO packages would you recommend for my business and in what time would I be seeing page ranks in google bing and yahoo. Why there is no even close correlation between MajesticSEO data and Open Site? Explorer?
I compared my site home page against my competitor homepage with Open Site Explorer and I found that according Open Site Explorer I have only 3 backlinks where in MajesticSEO I have more than 100 backlinks in 'Historic' data and more 90 in '30 days fresh data'. Why there is no even close correlation between MajesticSEO data and Open Site Explorer? How SEOMoz count backlinks?

How does a site get to no 3 in Google with no KW in their links?!!
Hello everyone, my first post - ahhh I'm investigating a niche and there is a site that should have no right being there in my view. It's no. 3 Google UK for 'company formation' with a small site with 65 weak links from only 7 domains and hosted in the US. But more importantly, the Open Site Explorer says there is not 1 link with that term in its anchor text. This I find crazy and makes me suspicious. But before I go back to my client saying "oh they must be black hat" I would like your expert views. I'm not sure whether to tut or congratulate them and for the first time I'm not sure what reasons to give for their amazing performance! What's your views?
