SEO hosting (EU/Spanish IP's) any1?
-
Hello all,
I'm currently trying to find a great hosting company which can offer a fast and stable service and more important, with the possibility of geolocalizing IP's of Europe and concretely for Spain.
I've found Ixwebhosting but they only offer US Ip's, as their datacenters are there. I don't know if it's the same thing outside spain, but here the hosting companies only use to have a single "C-class" range so even buying them different IP's doesn't help that much, and it isn't cheap (2€/month/ip...).
So if you know someone offering what I'm looking for (or really close to it) drop a line, I'll appreciate your help!

Really useful info. Didn't know 1and1 did offer it and I'll check Maven too. I do own 6 different accounts in spanish hosting (my principal target) but they don't use to have more than a pair of C-class IP's per datacenter, so you get redundant after building a short "wheel" or you become crazy (the point I am lol).
Thank you Marco

This is definitely a tough one & unfortunately, you'll have to most likely find a local ISP within each country.
1and1 is international but to get a geolocalized C-class IP you do have to contact each 1and1 country office separately; i.e. if I want a German & Spain IP, I have to call Germany & Spain 1and1 offices (not centralized). They do have great packages & systems but support is sub-par at best (this may have changed from a year ago).
I did work with one company that could potentially provide you geolocal IPs: www.mavenhosting.com. They are located in Quebec, Canada and I was able to get Spain, Italian, French & Germany IPs (I think they get them from 1and1) but had to buy blocks of 5 per country. Price was OK & service again was sub-par. Email works best with them. Unfortunately, the entire site is in French but they do have one or two folks who speak English.
Hope this helps & let me know if you have more questions about Maven.
Cheers

What's on your ultimate online marketing wish list?
Hi everyone! I'm one of Distilled's new online marketing analysts and will be writing my first blog post for them right before Christmas! I'm thinking about writing a post that combines the holiday spirit with what we all wish Google would give us. So fine people of Moz Q&A, tell me, if you could have anything from Google, no matter how ridiculous, what would it be and why? Any great quotes may even be featured in the blog post itself and attributed to you! Thanks everyone and happy Friday!

Travelling & SEO?
Hi Everybody, I had no idea where to post this online and i thought SEOmoz was an awesome place to start! 🙂 I own a small digital marketing agency in the UK, i started it when i was 17 and i have won a number of awards from young entrepreneur of the year and i have worked with some large organisations. At the moment i am currently 21 and i have always wanted to go travelling and see the world. I have told my clients that i am going travelling and some are staying with me and some are leaving due to them liking that human contact / meet ups. what is totally fine. In October i am travelling around Australia and i was wondering if anybody has done anything like this before? I have always wanted to do it and keep coming up with excuses why i can't do it, but im just going to go for it!!!! I was thinking that i could travel from city to city working for different SEO agencies, i mainly work as a consultant because i find it extremely easy to start talking to people and generate leads. Do you think it would be better to work for somebody or pitch that im on my own travelling and can do it remotely. I can see why it wouldn't appeal to a agency to take somebody one as "part-time" and for somebody who could "steal" their business, im guessing i could get a contract together explaining that i will not work with any leads generated for their business? How would you go about getting work / getting paid? I have some websites what make income from absence but nothing life changing... just a few ££ per month. Any advice from anybody who has been travelling / done something like before would be extremely loved by me! 🙂 THANK YOU!!!!!! 🙂
