Will the Moz Keyword Explorer Tool (which I LOVE BTW) some day allow you to see search result figures broken down by location?
-
I know this is a long shot, but are there plans to eventually filter keyword volumes by location like the Google AdWords tool does today? Or is that never going to happen?
Assuming not, are there other recommended avenues for teasing out keyword volumes of a local vicinity? I work for a health system, so nearly all of our customers are local. So I always feel like I have to guess on words like "urgent care" since obviously I'm not trying to rank nationally, but often people do not use a geo modifier term when searching.

Hey there Patrick! Glad to hear you're enjoying Keyword Explorer so far!
While I can't speak to upcoming unannounced feature releases, I know this is a popular request and I'll be sure to pass your feedback along to our product team! In regards to the best current workaround to get at that local keyword data, you've hit the nail on the head with geo-modifying your searches.
Feel free to let us know if you have any other feedback!

Moz Keyword Explorer - Explore by Folder
When using Moz Keyword Explorer to search for my ranking keywords is there any way to see the ranking keywords for a directory or folder on a site? For example: if a blog is located at a subdomain, I can see all the ranking keywords for the blog by selecting subdomain and searching for https://blog.example.com. However, I would like to be able to search for all of a blog's ranking keywords if the blog URL is something like https://example.com/blog/ instead. If this is not feature, can I request its addition? Thank you!

Will the Pro tool be updated to reflect the new meta description length?
Hi, I'm wondering if and when the tool will be updated for the above purpose - I'm currently testing it out with a view to purchase a subscription and have onboarded a couple of clients, but the reports are coming back with meta description length errors, but as I'm sure you know the "legal" length of these was recently increased to I believe 320 characters. Any insight here would be awesome - thanks so much!

Moz is flagging my callto: links as 404s. I "fixed" with tel: & nofollow and lost 2 DA. Help?
I changed the callto: links to tel: links in the footer and nofollowed them and my domain authority dropped 2. Â I'm assuming this is because we lost 2.8K "external links" Â Advice on how to remove 404s for Phone#'s without affecting DA? Â Will just using the tel: format stop Moz from crawling them as 404's? Â It was adding links to the 404 list that look like this: www.ocp.org/missals/callto:########### I assumed it was because to the crawlers the links looked like relative links this is what our links look like now: <a <span="" class="html-tag">href</a><a <span="" class="html-tag">="</a>tel:###########" rel="nofollow" title="Call us">########### Old footer links: <a <span="" class="html-tag">href</a><a <span="" class="html-tag">="</a>callto:###########" title="Call us">###########

Does seo moz toolbar work in safari? Can I avoid using Chrome or firefox?
I am using a Mac and use Safari for web. Â I am not very familiar with Google Chrome or Firefox. I started my trial with SEOMoz Pro and want to use it (loved it) but do not want to adapt myself to Google Chrome or Firefox - thus my hesitation. What limitations do I have with SEOMoz Pro in safari - e.g. Moz add-on in the toolbar? What would I be missing if I continue using Safari? I would much appreciate an honest and complete answer so that I can decide whether to use Google Chrome of Firefox. Thank you

Need to get SERP rankings for keywords not in top 50
I have built a list of keywords for several new pages. My site does not currently rank in the top 50 for any of these keywords, but we need to find out where we do rank and try to improve ranking. How do I use Moz to see where my keywords rank if they are not ranking in the top 50?

Keyword Explorer Feature Request
At the minimum, I would like to see the Keyword Explorer Volume Filter drop down stay open when selecting or unselecting a range.  As an added bonus I would like to see an all and none option.  This would eliminate having to open the drop down and selecting each range individually. I assume features are ranked by number thumbs ups? PS I see the Support - Feature Requests tag option at the bottom of the authoring screen.  But is there a way to filter feature request posts, I can only filter by support? 0

Suggestion to Improve Moz's Link Data
Hello All. The recent Index update (29th January) seems to have produced quite a few shocks to Moz Pro users. Index updates always cause panic and joy every time they are released. However, I feel this is a big improvement that could be made. In this last index, the DA for my site has remained the same. I was expecting a rise, simply because I have been doing some link building since October and was expecting the results to start showing around this time. However, the link metrics for my site looked worse this month than ever before. The index clearly didn't crawl sites and pages that it has crawled the last couple of indexes, and I noticed a few links disappeared from the metrics altogether, links that I know still exist. So I have a suggestion... If Moz has collected link data in previous indexes, can it not preserve that data rather than starting afresh with every new index. Regular checks could be conducted on existing link data to identify expired or broken links, but to disregard them and start anew with every index seems a little odd. That way, Moz would have much more accurate and comprehensive link data which would help to avoid the DA inaccuracy, and provide users with a better measure of how their site is performing against the rest of the web. This may be naive because I do not know the technical side to index updates. Any thoughts, advice, suggestions etc would be appreciated.
