Yeah there are many, But it's highly recommended not to use them if you care about quality links and ranking.

If there are automated tools that submit every site that asks to directories, the directories are going to be worthless when it comes to actual users. The search engines know this, and it won't do your sie any good, and quite possibly could harm your site.

If you want to outsource, delegate or abdicate link building (don't worry we all secretly want to have nothing to do with it because it's hard) then hire a PR. That's going to get you MILES further than any of this stuff. That's what we did and now we've been featured in the news all over the place and on tons of really high quality sites.

Linkbuilding is now synonymous with PR. It's not done from basements and dark rooms at 4am and you can't do it with shady tools. If you want a tool then use an outreach tool to automate your relationship building with the sites you want to feature on. Or just hire someone to 'do PR' not to 'build links' because the people i've hired to 'build links' have been using as much black and grey as white hat techniques. Everyone wants to cheat and if you do then you are fighting against Google. Or here in the UK we say 'biting the hand that feeds you'.

If you can get a good relationship with one of these link-building specialist agencies and have the confidence and insight to know when they've sold you a pup - and ask them to fix it for free - then you can get somewhere. But its expensive andeasier just to set a strategy, hire someone and execute.

NOT is the answer.

Directory submissions are the WORST way to spend your time and resources. They just don't work. And I'm not being 'holier than thou' because I actually tried them out last year (because I test everything and have a fairly small site so thought it might work) but it didn't. There was no benefit and the directories I used were all paid with links to internal pages. It took me a couple of days (+ about $500) and after a month I ended up having to disavow most of them and then the others kicked me off after 6 months wanting more money! It's a total joke. Run by total jokers.

Even automating it is a very bad waste of time. **If you're a local business and are actually talking about 'citations' then that's a different thing altogether. ** But directories died years ago. Many of them aren't even in the index or google has algorithmically discounted them because they have literally too many links spread too thinly so each link carries a tiny proportion of juice. And the ones that are in the index come back with very high toxic score in SEM Rush and AHrefs with the exception of one called Joe Ant. That one is showing green lights. So I didn'd disavow but i've not seen one single referral from them.

I also noticed an ENORMOUS increase in spam following my little test. I get hundreds of submissions to my forms and site and even people calling. I've also seen a significant increase in strange black-hat links added to my list. This is not 'negative seo' but the scrapers and black hat people crawl the directories to find people still dumb enough to pay them (like me!!!) and see them as easy targets for other dreadful SEO products.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

There are many tools that do this. However, I would suggest staying away from them. Spend that money on create valuable content for the users. There will be a better long-term roi and the risk of getting a algorithmic or manual action taken against your site is greatly minimized. Good luck!

How i can Reduce Spam score of my website

link building spam score spam backlinks

Hi everyone, I'm reaching out to the community for some advice on improving my website's spam score. I've been using the Moz Spam Score Checker and my website, sngplbill.pk, currently has a score of 7%. While this isn't exceptionally high, I'd like to take steps to bring it down as low as possible, ideally under 1%. One factor I've identified that might be contributing to this score is a number of backlinks pointing to my site has a much higher spam score (over 80%). (screenshot attached)sngplbillscore I'm wondering if the community has any recommendations for how to address this situation. Here are some specific questions I have: Does disavowing the backlinks from spamy site seem like the best course of action?
Are there any other potential reasons why my website might have a spam score, even with these backlinks?
What general strategies can I implement to improve my website's overall SEO health and reduce its spam score?
Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Blog post outreach for backlinks

blog post outreach blog post backlinks guest blog posting in context link building content marketing

Hi all, My understanding of obtaining backlinks by way of blogpost outreach is that it's best to include several outbound links to related high domain websites within blog post copy (as well as a link to the website you're marketing, obviously) such as this post https://www.scoopearth.com/why-should-you-use-royalty-free-music-for-youtube-videos/ or this one https://small-bizsense.com/how-to-create-quality-content-for-your-business/. However, I've recently read a few articles that suggest that from a human perspective only having one clear link in the copy, such as this post https://www.clichemag.com/entertainment/movies/the-benefits-of-royalty-free-cinematic-music-for-your-videos/, increases the chance of the reader visiting the site in question. I guess the thinking is that if there's only one link to be clicked on it increases the chances of click-thru, as opposed to the reader possibly clicking on another external link that's only there because of current SEO advice. So is it best to follow SEO guidelines and include several outbound links within guest blog posts, or is it better to only have the one link to your client's site (to focus the readers attention on it)?

Backlinks from translated content

Hello, We have quite a few articles "out there" that give us backlinks. We were thinking of also translating the content and submitting it to local content websites, so it can provide us with more backlinks. The main questions here, will this content be recognized as the same content as the English version? Also, being in another language, some of the anchor text might not hit the English keyword. Not sure how Google sees it. Any advise on the matter? thx!!

Does this count as a backlink to my category page?

I am ranking high with a certain category page and I am reading that I need backlinks to that page. It is going to be a challenge to get a backlink to that specific category page but how about this? Category page URL: www.mysite.com/category/name Backlink to this URL: www.mysite.com/category/name/specific-blog-post (EDIT: Apparently these types of links don't exist! I went into the category page and clicked on a blog post and it just gave me the www.mysite.com/blah-blah-blah) Will that count as a backlink to the category page? Right now I am only getting backlinks to these blog posts: www.mysite.com/this-is-a-blog-post Any help appreciated! EDIT: Well I guess now my question is worthless. But if you have any input, it would be appreciated.

How can I find all the outbound links from a website domain?

I want to find all the outbound links (basically whatever comes in tag) from a domain (say www.abc.com) as well as all the subdomains under it (say abc.com/a etc). Open Site Explorer provides the inbound links from a website but does not provide any functionality to get all the outbound links from a website. Is it possible to do? Thanks in advance. Frustrated with spammy backlinks from competitors

I've only been doing SEO for my company for the last month and I've made some headway but what is really frustrating me right now is a couple of competitors that have OBVIOUS spammy links ranking in the number 1,2,3 stops all over the board for the keywords i'm going for. One competitor in particular has anchor text links EVERYWHERE that make absolutely no sense...junk like... "I have never been more saddened by anything in my life than when my grandfather got cancer. I told my uncle he needed to buy some auto insurance. I really like pork." I mean, these links are the pages with the most page authority and page rank out of all of the ones they have...and I'd venture to say that almost all of their backlinks are like this...well, half of them are just random links with good anchor text on the sidebar of a bazillion spam websites (diapers, toys, fake blogs, etc.)...while i have about 3k links and most of my top competitors have about 5k links...these guys have over 33k. Worse yet, when I look at something like Alexa rank, they have pretty high overall traffic rank but it shows traffic rank in MX (mexico) instead of the US...these guys only sell in the US! I mean, they're black hat if I've ever seen such a thing and they rank superbly on all keywords. What can I do to compete with this junk?
