Adwords :what do you think about creating 2 different ad groups for each match type of the same kws into the same campagn?

ADGR1:
+red +cat +buy
+red +cat
+red +cat for +saleADGR2:
[red cat]
[buy red cat]
[red cat for sale]Am i bidding agains myself without negative kws?

After doing some serious digging and researching re: the classification of 'duplicate' keywords (there's a ton of information about how to remove them but the definition of what's a dupe and what's a 'variant' is really, really hard to find), there's a basic question about using redundant words within keywords that doesn't appear to be clearly addressed anywhere.
1. If you use the same root word _within a set of keywords, _are each of these keywords that use the same root word considered duplicates? To use the example above:
+red +cat
+red +cat +boots
+red +cat +bagI would assume not— because each of these keywords that use the same word technically become a new keyword variant with the addition of each new word. Is this accurate?
2. That said, Google offers a de-dupe setting to catch the re-use of words within _keywords,_and this seems to be used vaguely to define a keyword as a potential duplicate, but is this true in practice?

They are two very different groups and definitely worth using. Your exact will work well for users obviously typing in very specific keywords and could possibly be a bit more expensive to start with and your broad match keywords will help to find much more long tail requests.
I find +BMM is great for researching intent around the keyword and mopping up those not quite meeting exact rules. I would suggest then using the common longer string +BMM terms as exact to drive down the CPC in time.

304 "If Modified Header" Triggers Error in Google Ads?
We have a client who is launch some Google Ads campaigns, and they recently asked us to fix 304 "Errors" on their website as per this feedback: "When we inspected the website we came across a number of 304 status errors. In order to get the ads running, we will need all of the website domain status codes converted to 200. “ Of course, all of their website pages return a 200 Status, it's just the HTTP headers that additionally clarify with a 304 Response (not an error). Has anyone else ever run into this issue with Google Ads? IMHO it makes no sense to remove this functionality. Adwords - Mobile Checkbox
Hi Everyone, I am looking to optimize my adwords campaigns and have been pondering how to handle the checkbox for "Mobile" on the standard Text Ads. (My ecommerce website is fully responsive.) If i want to create 1 Ad for each ad group and have that ad displayed on desktops as well as mobile devices, should i be checking the "Mobile" checkbox? Is it best practice to create 2 ads per ad group that are identical except have 1 with Mobile checked and 1 without? Please let me know how you guys typically set this up. Thanks

Looking for an intensive Adwords training classes in San Francisco or a good online resource!
Hi everyone, It may not be the right forum to post such a request but I am looking for an intensive advanced adwords training program within the next 2 weeks in the San Francisco area. I am adwords certified since last week but I have never really managed multiple accounts before and I am looking for something that would get me up to speed. I have already researched online and found that Cardinal Path, Luna Metrics and Academy X are offering such classes but nothing this month. Optimising 2 ecommerce sites
Hi there I have been optimising an e-commerce site snowsupermarket.co.uk and it's range of products available to B2C customers. I have now been asked to do the same for the B2B site shop.snowbusiness.com which sells the same products but also, many more. My question is, Should i use completely different meta information or choose keywords that are my second choice? Keyword domains for AdWords - duplicate content an issue
Hi guys, A client of mine has bought a raft of keyword domains for use in an AdWords campaign. This isn't my area of expertise, hence the question. They have a hosting account which can host an unlimited number of domains. Can they set up the domains with the same content on each site and then use AdWords to drive traffic to the sites? I've suggested they can use rel="canonical" to specify that the preferred site is the main site of the company which should bypass the duplicate content issue. Is this the best way to host the sites or is there a better alternative? Thanks in advance, Brendan.
