Which is the best to see some immediate SEO benefits and how long does it usually take to boot your DA?
-
I am on a mission to improve our DA and generally try to move up the ladder on SERPS. Is there anything I could do straight away to attract the most gains?
Thank you

I am facing the same issue on my website. Despite creating tons of quality backlinks. Moz is neither indexing the links nor increasing the DA. If anybody has an idea about it. Let's forward it to me.

Yeah I'm having the same issue. I'd love to know after you do create these backlinks, how long till you can see the results and why sometimes they aren't showing up in Moz.
We worked with some guys who seem to know there stuff and they said they use SEM rush because Moz wasn't the best when you start to know what your doing with SEO. Not sure if that's true though.

Thanks Muhammad. I tracked down our closest competitor who is ranking number one for a huge keyword and then used Moz to find there backlinks which I have been trying to copy by posting, opening accounts, reviewing and asking questions on the same site/forums/pages as they have. Is that the best way to do it?
Also while your here I have a quick questions if you don't mind. When I compare there backlinks to ours I see that they have been back linked and are getting the credit from Afterpay which is a pretty good source with good authority yet we have had Afterpay for years now and its not even on our backlink list. I can see our brand in their directory but don't know what's going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks mate!

Hi there,
You should write your meta tags to get more visibility in the SERPs. Moz has a great guide on this topic https://moz.com/blog/the-ultimate-guide-to-seo-meta-tags

WhoIs, SEO & Privacy
Is WHOIS data used by Google as a ranking signal? We had a website that had some bad SEO work done a while ago hence took a knock, If I use the same WHOIS data on a new site is that likely to cause an issue? Also I don't like the idea of providing too much information for privacy reasons, so have tended to stick to general email addresses and department names rather than actual personal information. Is that a bad approach?

What are the best practices for microdata?
Not too long ago, Dublin Core was all the rage. Then Open Graph data exploded, and Schema seems to be highly regarded. In a best-case scenario, on a site that's already got the basics like good content, clean URLs, rich and useful page titles and meta descriptions, well-named and alt-tagged images and document outlines, what are today's best practices for microdata? Should Open Graph information be added? Should the old Dublin Core be resurrected? I'm trying to find a way to keep markup light and minimal, but include enough microdata for crawlers to get a better sense of the content and its relationships to other subdomains and sites.

What are the most underrated SEO tactics?
Looking over the discussion of underrated SEO tactics at http://sphinn.com/story/178993/ , I'm curious if folks here have any favorite SEO tactics that they feel are ignored, underrated, or somehow not appreciated by the community at large. Any thoughts? Among the tactics listed in the Sphinn post: Blog commenting Analytics to identify low-hanging keyword fruit Getting your site set up properly at the server level Unique and relevant imagery Internal links Google Place page optimization Several more... Any others that should be included? I'd personally add segmenting your keyword traffic into trademark (those that mention your brand name) versus non-trademark segments for more thorough analysis.
