You are on right track. If same keywords are used in different match types then they are not considered as duplicate keywords. Just remember the keyword with the highest AdRank enters the general auction for placement.
Generally the advertisers tend to follow different strategies and stick with the one, which gives them higher Conversions, high Return on Investment (ROI) etc...
1. Launch different match type keywords within a single ad group and go with the ones, which gives you better results.
2. Launch different match type keywords in different ad groups OR different campaigns and then add embedded negative match type keywords to streamline the traffic. Now, once you accrue data, you can pause the match types which are not proving worth for you and optimize the rest of the keywords.
Bid higher on_ exact_, lower on phrase and the lowest on broad.
Using this strategy, when all match types could be matched to a query, the most restrictive type wins, your ad-rank will be higher, and as a result, your chances to win a higher position (in the auction) are higher.

1>You must take backlink point to https domain because currently you are using SSL.
2>Yes as you mentioned that you have used 301 redirect so link equity pass to https domain with very negligible loss in link juice but you should take link on https domain because you are using SSL now.
3>Yes of course that is why people use 301 redirect so link equity can pass from old URL to new URL.

Back in the days the trailing slash suggested "this is a directory" in contrary to "this is a file". Browsers would react slightly faster – or at least that's what I was told – when they were indirectly told "look for a file called index…". Today that trailing slash is next to obsolete.
Today it is considered good practice to either always or never have that trailing slash – otherwise it could be considered duplicate content.
But as far as I know neither theory has any impact on SEO.

Optimal format for any page title tag is **Primary Keyword - Secondary Keyword | Brand Name. **
You can use it same for homepage also. If a brand is well-known enough to make a difference in click-through rates in search results, the brand name should be first. If the brand is less known or relevant than the keyword, the keyword should be first.
If you keep your titles under 55 characters, you can expect at least 95% of your titles to display properly

Citation is really important for local SEO but your case is different because your client doesn't want to disclose physical address so you have to focus on other things e.g 1>Quality backlinks 2>Perfect on page optimisation

Honestly these types of little things don't have much of a factor in SE algorithms.
Yes you can use it pipe, hyphen, comma . It may potentially impact the user experience and the Click-Through-Rate. I personally prefer to use pipe & hyphen.

Completely agreed with Andy's suggestion.I would like to add one more thing here I'm also working on a large e-commerce site with thousands of products. I find a good way to insert alt tag very easily I asked web developer to create a module by which every products having alt tag with product name and web developer did a great job by writing only few lines of code. you can ask web developer to do the same.
Now I don't need to add alt tag individually on each product and it saves my time.

My answer would be very short & simple. Getting links from multiple domain is far better then getting numerous links from same site.
If you get more than one links in your case two yes definitely you will get some link value & benefits.

I am sharing answer given by Miriam Ellis (a moz staff) on exact query.
"In order to qualify for local inclusion, avoid penalties and prevent merging, your client must be able to answer yes to the following 3 points.
1) Does the business have a unique, dedicated physical address (not a virtual address, P.O. Box or shared address)?
2) Does the business have a unique, dedicated local phone number in the city of location (not an 800 number, not a call tracking number, not a shared number)
3) Does the business have in-person transactions with its customers, either at its own location (like a restaurant) or at the customers' locations (like a plumber)?
If the business does not meet any one of these 3 criteria, it does not qualify for local inclusion. I don't know where your client is at on points 2 and 3, but if they can't say yes to point one, Local SEO will be nothing but problematic for them. Here's why:
If 2 or more businesses share an address, suite address or phone number (or even if their names are too similar), Google will frequently merge the business details of the listings. This means that Joe the Barber can end up with Jim the Plumber's business name, phone number or reviews showing up on his listing. Merging is one of the most difficult issues to deal with in Local, and one to be avoided at all costs.

Your client's best hope is to:
1. Secure a unique suite number in the building at which he/she works and at which mail can be received.
2. Search for all citations of the business web-wide to correct any existent citations so that they include the new suite number.

I presume you know that the meta description is not a ranking factor in Google but indirectly yes because meta description is mainly used to increase CTR. If CTR would improve ranking will also improve.
Now coming to your question
If your business name is a single word like Microsoft then I will go to second option with first alphabet in capital & if your business name is two word keyword like 'Wall Street' I will go for first option.
