I just turned off AIO. I prefer it for titles and stuff. But yoast had the rel canonical function that I needed. I wish there was a way to turn off parts of yoast

RE: Yoast seo title question
That is how I want it. I want my H1 to be the name of the page or post. I do not want it to be the title tag though. So that again is going back to something with yoast. Why is it insisting on changing my page title to the title tag

RE: Yoast seo title question
I have modified the auto-generated tags. I want to include my site name at the end of the titles but cannot do so if it will place it in my headers too. And that is what is currently happening.

RE: Yoast seo title question
I am editing the "SEO Title" and that is what is changing my headers too.
This is my header theme code
if(!wp_title("",false)) { echo bloginfo( 'title');} ?>
So yoast is somehow overwriting this code to make it the same as my "seo title"

Yoast seo title question
I was referred to this plugin and have found it to be the most irritating and poorly designed plugin in the world.
I want to be able to set my titles without it changing my page headers as well.
For instance -
If I set my title to be "This is my article name | site name" it will make my H1 tag read the same. I do not want or desire this nonsense. Why would they think this is something wise? Why would I want my site name on every single H1 tag on my site?
How can I fix this? I only want my title to be my title. I want my H1 tag to remain the post/page name that I define in wordpress.

RE: Way to reset Facebook page Reach sending patterns
That is a good response. Helpful
Am I the only one who finds it irritating that I spend money with Facebook to get likes, and then have to spend more money just to get my stuff to my fans..who I already paid FB to acquire?

RE: Way to reset Facebook page Reach sending patterns
1. Will this reset some of the metrics? That is what I am planning on doing if so. Going to leave a message saying we will be gone for a week, but here is a promo code.
2. We find Facebook ads are overprices for boosting posts. They are great for getting likes but the post boosting gets poor results and are much too expensive. Will cost 10 dollars to send our post out to 400 of our fans which is absurd.

RE: Way to reset Facebook page Reach sending patterns
I have been managing her page for long enough to know the likes are not fakes. We run Facebook ads to gain new likes. Most of them are from that

Way to reset Facebook page Reach sending patterns
I have a client that posts a bunch of really poorly formatted and nonengaging content on her a Facebook business page. This has caused her reach to be very low, despite having 9000 real followers. Due to a history of poor content and therefore low engagement Facebook just does not send her stuff out anymore.
Is there a way to change that? I heard you could reset that notion by staying off the page for a couple of weeks and then beginning to post once more with better stuff. Is that remotely true?

RE: Videos perform poorly on facebook...why?
That isn't helpful. I pretty much addressed all of that in my original post.
My demographics are fine. The respond well and have a high response rate to everything else that is posted. I am sure the videos would as well, but Facebook simply does not send it out to people. Of my 42,000 fans it only sends my videos out to maybe 200.
I already know what times of the day and days of the week are best for the page. I already have tested other forms of media and they work fine. I want to know why facebook is choosing not to send out my videos.

RE: How many categories should you have within a blog / Wordpress Site for SEO?
You should have as many as you need. Do not create categories if there are no articles you can place within them. But do not group unrelated articles under the same category. Check into some keyword research to see if your broader categories get search volume and go from there.
For the example you gave, I would say to keep them all under a "branding" category and expand into those other keywords through articles.
If you have a more broad category it may get linked to more since it has more articles people may want. Therefore increasing its PA and ranks
