Forum posting and blog posting are surely some quick form of getting backlinks. Participating in communities is always good but in what communities you are participating is key.Surely I agree with Tom that its not a good and recommended linkbuilding method as there are 70%+ communities that have spam on it.

simon_realbuzz buddy If I use this /classifieds/ it means I am blocking all URL starting with it.I want to get a list of all blocked URL's of site.

How many URL's associated with this classified are blocked by my robots.txt.

Ryan If SEO is not to manipulate or try to rank your site than what it is?Not all link profiles are as natural as SEOMOZ/SEL.
dean1986 I totally agree with you.Look at the meta keywords.Are they not part of SEO strategies.Forum posting was used as one of the largest technique of SEO.Than people switch over to blog posting.Than web 2.0 and now guest post/infographics.
Surely the ranking game is not easy by any means and google have to take actions all the time but the day I meet MR MATT always coming up with happy face in videos telling the world EMD is there check out are you down,I shall ask him.MR MATT "why you guys hate spam and index it"?
Who develop natural domain as ranking signal and who said this game is over?
