Dear all,
On jun 20 I have uploaded a disavow file including some domains by error (good links), my question is could I remove from the Disavow file these domains and update it again, so Google will take the removed domains again as good links?

I agree with you 100%, so which tool are you using to detect duplication with other sites for example pages on our site duplicated with tucows.
There are any massive or batch way to detect it.
We feel this is the major issue with our site.

YES absolutelly, (Always at domain level) it prevents future new pages from the spammy domain linking your pages, only you can use subdomain level where the links comes from authority domains, for example blogs on blogspot ie: linking.blogspot.com in this case you should include on your disavow file only the subdomain linking.blogspot.com and at the TLD level ".com" which includes all the regional like .com.tw , .com.ar etc
Use to detect bad links as many tools as you can starting with Google WMT, bING WMT, yandex WMT, SeoMOZ, ahref, linkdetrox etc.

Google get thousand of innocent reconsideration request, saying "I'm innocent" for example if you tag any page with the robots meta tag "OINDEX,FOLLOW" it always will consider it as NOINDEX,FOLLOW they assume the pesimistic option, so if you has spammy links, you has two options, the first is remove all of them which will save your site or leave it and be penalized or rank low .....
Again my experience is assume that Google will think you're the responsible (the pesimistic option) and try to remove all the possible links and the rest should be disavowed and never try to joke the links to your site, think Google has the 90% of the market on the internet, so your site and mime are not the most important.
Recently Google has penalized to ebay and many others ....

I was dealing with DISAVOW for a long time and my conclusions are:
1. Remove as many links as you can.
2. The remaining links (bad or suspicious) should be included into a DISAVOW file and upload it to Google Disavow tool.
This allow your site to keep safe for future and coming penalties or rank issues.
PS.: Google can detect all the un-natural link schemes better than you and me ....

You could get a Google manual-penalty, or simply be affected by an algorithm penalty (Penguin), so the best practice is:
1. Contact the webmaster of these sites and ask for link removal.
2. The remaining links should be included on the DISAVOW file at domain level.
You should be use to construct your link profile several sources, such as Google WMT, Bing WMT, Yandex WMT and of cours several tools such as ahref, SeoMoz, LinkMajestic and LinkDetrox, and other tools, each bad link you detect and get remove from there is a goal and prevent future penalties or gradual downgrades of your rank.

I recommends, before to pay for the work, the link-company should sent you the list of the domains where they will put your links, and you should check:
1. The IP where the linking domain is hosted (prevents link farms or other networks, Google knows that).
2. The owner of the domain "attention with hidden registrants", several companies collect hundred of blogs and forums to use for link building and of course Google know that.
3. These links should be included in a natural way (no all links in the same week).
Be carefully, last year I bought a pack of 50 links (PR/3/4/5/6) and for my surprise, no one improvement in ranking ... SO Google knows these people.

The amount of links depends of different things, so the best is get these links in a reazonable quantity, so all sites has a ratio of links gained and losed by month.
If you get 1000 new links in a week, it is suspicious for Google and "penalty" is comming.
At this time the only secret about links is:
1. Natural links (most possible natural).
2. Authority sites and related to your niche.
3. Get these links in a reazonable basis.

Panda on the last weekend as many other sites such as Retailmenot etc.
We were working hard from one year til now:1. Rewrite all the pages with pour content (less than 100 words), and non-original content.2. The pages where was impossible rewrite the content were 410 gone.3. About the link profile, we were removing all the unnatural links by contacting thewebmaster and finally updating a DISAVOW file at monthly basis.All these tasks were performed and we see some improvements close to the original traffic before 2012Now from the last weekend our traffic down again, so we need to know if we can do anythingor there are something hidden from our eyes.Thank youClaudio

Dear Friends,
One of my customers was hit by the Panda, we were working on improve the tiny content on several pages and the remaining pages were:
1 NOINDEX/FOLLOW
2. Removed from sitemap.xml
3. Un-linked from the site (no one page on the site link to the pour content)
As conclusion we can't see any improvement, my question is should I remove the pour content pages (404)?
What is your recommendation?

The new domain is on a different C-class, the whois info is different and event locked as private, the WMT and GAnalitycs will be on a different account, the design will be different and even I have planed upload a few products (pages) to start, and also it will be blocked by robots.
But my question is "is dangerous start with similar content to the old site", (some pages has a great content well written)
At this time I was working for two years with the old site and the traffic is recovery too slow, so our time has finished this is why we want to start a new domain using some of the old pages (previously marked as NOINDEX on the old site

My plan is to create a fresh new site NO-301 no redirections, but I want to use some of the well performing contents (more than 500 words, well written), using these steps:
1. Make on the old site the content as NOINDEX.
2. Wait 15 days.
3. upload this content to the new site.

I was dealing with a penalized domain (Penguin, Panda), hundred of spamy links (Disavoved with no success), tiny content resolved in part and so on ....
I think the best way is to start a new fresh domain but we want to use some of the well written content from the old (penalized site).
To do this task I will mark as NOINDEX the source (penalized) page and move this content to the new fresh domain.
Question: do you think this is a non-dangerous aprouch or do you know other strategy?

I'm deciding to open a new fresh site, so I'm looking for history of different domains (which are available), I was testing some of them in OpenSiteExp and no one link is pointing, also http://web.archive.org/ report pages (few) on Apr/2009 and from this point the domain is unregistered, I'm worry about register a penalized domain.
PS.: I check these domains in WOT and seems to be clear (no reputation at this time).
Do you recommends any tool to check it?

I see your page, which has an error you has two H1 tags, the first is:
(it should be an error of the plug-in and the second is fine:
, the image Persian-girls-12-300x200.jpg (your image post, includes the ALT value correct, I suggest to include the TITLE tag with the same value of the ALT tag (the ALT tag is for search engines and the TITLE is for visitors) and both should see the same.

The ALT and TITLE on images are essential, but your page also needs text, text is the most important SEO tool at this time, so you should be describe in deep these homes, also you can add text such as "this home is ideal for ... ", etc. but think in "Good Text is the king for SEO"

You should include your sitemap.xml on the root of the site, it should include all pages crawleable from the root.
Also I recommend on your robots.txt file include the line: Sitemap: http://www.yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml
This xml file is one of your most important files to rank well.

NEVER reuse content from one site on other site and in your particular case take care about a few things.
1. NO content sharing between your sites.
2. REMOVE any link between them.
3. MOVE the penalized site to another IP very different to the your prosun.com.
4. Finally abandon the welproma.com if you can.

You should use only one H1 tag on your page, the recommendation is include on it the page title (title tag).
Also you can use other H2 and H3 etc, no limitations but you should care about keyword dilusion and care about not sound as keyword spammer.
Actually I'm using one H1 identical to my title tag, and two or three H2's

It is my point of view, on 2011 I bought an expensive PR package on a reputable PR site and the traffic comming from the PR's was very low and also the value of these links was low too, so I recommend again put this money and effort in a social channels campain it will be more valuable in terms of traffic (targeted traffic) and also link value, authority etc.
PR sites has been absolutelly deprecated by Google and also the traffic comming from them is always less than espected.
This is my personal point of view
PS.: In the 90's we were buying PR packages and our rank was increased in a few weeks, today the rank is not affected by PR sites.

The canonical looks fine, also you should be ensure your internal links which should point to the canonical version of your page, also the external links count (they should link to your canonical version).
Also you can include the robots clause on your short version as NOINDEX,FOLLOW.

Recovery from Link Penalty (manual or algorithm) procedure:
1. Collect inboud links from Google Webmaster Tools + Moz link explorer + Link Majestic.
2. Include all domains in a Excel worksheet.
3. Contact site owners asking for link removal (usually 5% of sucess, but the effort counts for Google).
4. Wait several weeks for the removal of the links.
5. Fill a disavow file and upload it to Google https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/disavow-links-main?pli=1
6. Wait for 3 or 6 weeks and start a link building campain starting with a few links per week and increase it if you can (only natural links comming from authority sites related to your niche).
Recovers from Content problems.
1. Look for repetitive title and descriptions, use Google Webmaster Tools and Moz.
2. Look for pages with similar or identical content and fix it.
3. Look for pages with less than 200 words of convent and add content or simply remove them (404).
4. Add new fresh and original content.
Google will consider your effort and it will be increasing your rank step by step.

I'm working on the same niche (software), the best practice from my point of view is ALWAYS use the same page, and update it according the new release of the product, never remove (you're losing inbound links, Authority and even other important trust factors.
Only is recommended "remove" the discontinued products as by including a 301 to the most similar product page on your site and also take care about never redirect all your discontinued pages to the home page (a very common error).

The Google PR has been deprecated, the time in time it is updated by Google, when I'm looking for good links, I prefer to see other indicators in this order:
1. Google PR (only if it is PR=0) - site potentially penalized.
2. Domain Authority / Page authority.
3. Alexa Rank (give an idea about the site traffic and its authority).

After the Google Panda and Penguin updates, the value of the links has varied, Google has deprecated 100% the links comming from PR sites, (They are no natural links) at this time from Google point of view you're buying these links, even some reputable paid directories don't add any value (you pay and you get listed).
Google now is looking for other signals such as Google+, Facebook likes etc. the link building has changed.
I recommends to put you effort on social channels especially Google+ and second on Facebook.

I agree 100% the procedure recommended by you, and also I want to share with you:
1. Sources where we get links: Webmaster tools, SEOMoz, and link magestic, so you will get a hughe list of links, so we are working on this list, also google know that the problematic links are usually abandoned blogs (which register the domain only for one year) and in general doesn't provides any contact info, even if you contact the hosting people, in general they say "No response from the owner of this account" ....
So we try to remove the possible, and fill the disavow and comment to Google Team the job done.

You're right in all, our site is freesharewaredepot (dot) com it has the non-www redirected (301= to the www and also we use canonical, and google webmaster tools continue for years showing us both versions and even sending us both manual actions notes.
My question is "I have to send different reconsideration request treating both sites as different?"
In my opinion, I should to send the same (identical) reconsideration note for both.
Only to share our knowledge, we are in the hard task of link removal with a success of only 5%

I just get from Google two "Unnatural inbound links" notifications via Google Webmaster Tools, the first is for our WWW version of the site and the second is for the NON-WWW version.

I submit several years ago, also I contacted the editor and no one response, and in my last contact I check the the entire sites listing and I report several 404 (site not found) and even several redirections (301) to sites not related to this category and no one response (thanks for your support).
I think this guy will never list our site.
To be honest if my competitors, even new competitors are listed, my question is why our directory is omitted.
