Hi Abie,

Hi Edmond,
You need need at least 30 reviews within the last 12 months, and the ratings need to be 3.5 stars minimum on average. BUT: Having these ratings doesnt garantee anything. Usually my experience is that having them in place will take about 6 weeks before they show up in the ads.
On https://services.google.com/fb/forms/SellerRatingExtensions/ Google says they should be included automatically. PS: The form on the page is for disabling the stars.
In The Netherlands Google adwords provide a very good support desk for all questions regarding your ads.
Good luck!

Hi Edward,
Google itself protects advertisers if ads are being clicked too often. They have numerous filters to help detect invalid clicks. You also get money back if Google finds out the visitor was not a "normal" visitor. More on this you can find on: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/42995?hl=en
Of course you stille have some competition who clicks once and surfs your site for a while and you have to pay the click. But how bad is that?

Hi Peasoup,
I would surely advice to not simply copy the content to the 4 different domains.
I have a few good links for you:
https://moz.com/learn/seo/cctlds more info on ccTld's
https://moz.com/community/q/duplicate-content-on-multinational-sites Exactly your issue: make sure you read the comment of Gianluca Fiorelli.
Hreflang: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/189077?hl=en
Good luck with it!
Hi Richard,
I would completely stay away from drop downs. You often get problems with different browsers and mobile. For main navigation you could go for: Home> What we Do> Who we are> Contact. Next to that I would work with a sidemenu or footermenu in which you have all the services. For example you could take a look at www.aliexpress.com. This way the visitor can navigate easily and all the serbices are visible on the homepage for visitors and Google.
Good luck! Tymen
Hi,
WiIth Moz's Page Optimization you can Track & Monitor keywords or is that not what you mean?

Hi!
Big images reduce the speed on the page and speed is a(n increasingly important) ranking factor. You could use Page Speed Insights to see your overall site speed or the speed of a specific page.
Within Worpress there is also a setting to index images as a search result or not. On my site it was on and once turned off within a few weeks my overall scores increased so maybe that helps aswell.
Good luck!

Hi Radi,
I would get rid of all punctuation except for "-" as it is seen as a space. If you use othe punctuations they are ignored. When added in a query the results are without the punctuation. Same goes for Bing.
More info:
https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/2466433?rd=1#exceptions_punctuations
Makes it easier for you I hope

Hi Gopi,
What you're looking for is the Google Search Console API: https://developers.google.com/webmaster-tools/Once installed it will save the data also after the 90 days. So like Gaston mentions it is not possible to get older data but once you have this API running it will give you the data in the future from the moment it is installed.
Good luck! Tymen
Hi P.
You can not run a campaign with Analytics. You can run a campaign with Adwords using data from Analytics which is a very good idea! I personally retarget on different groups; "visit shopping cart", "more than 5 min on site" "suggested target from analytics" etc...
Good luck!
Tymen
In addition to Ria: Yoast will give you the option to give priory to pages. This is a % where you can devaluate the tag pages. http://kb.yoast.com/article/216-can-i-change-the-sitemap-priority.
Good luck!
Hi Jazom,
As far as I know you can't. Yet. I read this http://searchengineland.com/voice-search-reporting-coming-google-search-consoles-search-analytics-report-249054 so it should be on it's way
Regards, Tymen
Hi John,
You could clean them up and 301 redirect the old/wrong tags/ categories to the correct new page/post. This way the visitors will not notice anything and you let Google know where you want people to go to.
I would also take a look at: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/no-indexing-wordpress-taxonomies-do-or-dont/49508/
In this article it is explained how to "noindex" Tags and Categories in WP. This way you will avoid a lot of duplicate content.
Good luck!

Hi David,
I see the article contains a link to your page so that's nice. DA of the site is 48 so you got yourself a nice link. I try to do both: Blog on my own site en do guestblogging. This way you get a nice variaty in content and a good linkprofile. Keep up the good work :).
Tymen
Hi,
I added independent reviews because the Google reviews didnt show anymore. They provide me a feed which I implement in the footer. Than it will show up on every page and so in every result in de SERP's. The feed looks like below.
Most important are the &nor=20 (the number of reviews it should take from the feed.) and the**&Basescore=5** since this is the 5star Rich Snippet Google uses.
Thus I would'nt go for the Google rating but an independant rating company who will have a plugin most likely for the most common CMS's.
It takes a few weeks form them to be in place for all results but its worth the investment in time and money :). Good luck with it!
Hi,
In Addition to EGOL:
---get higher loading speed of pages
Good luck!

Hi Clara,
Good question. I have had the same issue. I made the decision to go for your option 1. So Home Accessories and than make category landing pages for the categories Bathroom, Kitchen etc... Reasons: 1. Volume is not necessarily the key factor: lower volume can be more valuable because of better quality traffic) 2. As Home decorations really describes what you do it is the honest truth about what your site is about. And you dont wanna be lying to Google now would you? ;). 3. And if one would look for kitchen accessoires and would also see Bathroom, bedroom etc it could be confusing. You want them to be landing on your Kitchen page and not your homepage.
Hope it helps!
Regards, Tymen
Hi Sagar,
I found that strange at the beginning also. Moz updates slower than Search Console from Google. More on Link Index Updates you can find on: https://moz.com/help/guides/research-tools/open-site-explorer/updates
Hope it helps and don't worry ;).
Tymen
Hi Rik,
This may take a bit longer to index. Also Google shows differerent metadescription for the same page based on the keywords used in the search query. A good article on metadescriptions is here on Moz.
Hope it helps,
Regards, Tymen
Hi Sandi,
I would make a One-pager with a catch all URL's. This way all the old url's of the site will go to this page and you get no 404's. On this page you explain that there is nothing there anymore and you should go to your site. I would not put to many links on the page.
Eventually the authority of the competitors site will go but if you have everything in place you will get it. What you could also do is login into the Seach Console account of the competitor and see which pages have good content. This content you could copy to your site before you take it offline.
Good luck!
Tymen
Hi Sandi,
You make one page with a "press release" writing that the company is been taken over by (yourcompany.com). All the other URL's you redirect to this page. On this page you can link to the most important places you want on your own website.
This way the authority of the old competitors domain will be forwarded to yours. And after like 6 months/1year you could link the whole domain to your site.
As Thomas mentions below it is a good idea to check which links could be of use (https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/) and contact the most important to change the link domain to yours.
Hope it helps! Regards, Tymen
Hi Becky,
Google does read what is after the break since I use it on my Homepage and the complete titkle including breaks is being indexed. The only thing negative about it is that the words before and after the break are not being indexed together
eg: Tubular Shelves | Easy
You would index well for Tubular Shelves but not as good for tubular shelves easy. Hope you understand it and it helps you.
Regards Tymen
Hi Becky,
The company wants sales I presume? Content=traffic=sales. As you correctly mention you should add more content. You can also do this with a small introduction text and than a Read More which unfolds when clicked on. A different way is to put a small introduction at the top and the whole story down the page. This way you are not hiding the text and it does help you rank better.
There's a good Q&A about it here on: Moz
Furthermore I would indeed go for extra pages. In my industry ( Garden And Wood building materials) it works really well to write "how to" pages. You get good traffic, they stay on your site for a long time and it influences the overall ranking in a good way.
Hope it helps, Good luck!
Tymen
Hi Karan,
If you check it on MOZ OSE:
The site looks ok so. The traffic they have is not very relevant in this case as you only do it for the link. I have multiple business listings on press sites and business review sites like Yelp. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" i presume.
Good luck with all!
Tymen
Hi Becky,
I just use both :). Youtube is good for SEO indeed. Vimeo is more friendly on the site for the visitors> no ads.
Good luck
Tymen
ps: I found this article: https://www.videomaker.com/article/c12/15696-youtube-or-vimeo-seeking-maximum-exposure-for-your-video
Hi Dino,
Is there a green checkmark in front of it? I sometimes find it not very clear in the Onpage Grader if you do or don't measure up to the Ranking Factor. If the keyword is placed behind a domain www.domain.com/locksmith it should indeed be picked up by the Grader
Hi Will,
Do you have your accounts connected? Than you should be able to see your campaigns in Analytics and the clicks generated. Next to that it gives you info about the behaviour of the visitors. If they have a very high bounce rate it is not a good performing ad/adgroup/campaingI would suggest you stop Search Partners for a while and see what happens than. Search partners has a very wide variety on ads and is hard to track on Add Group level. Hope it helps!
Good luck, Tymen
Hi,
I use hotjar for that. You can do 1000 free recordings and that gives you a nice idea of the user experience.
Good luck!
Hi,
I think you are right. So to redirect them all to 1 page is good. I just had the same migration to a new site and redirected all traffic to one page on wich i explained to migration and offered them a quick menu for continuing further in the "new" shop.
Regards,
Tymen
Hi Leggo,
I would not go for a relaunch and post everything online at the same time again. This would seem very unnatural. Also I would get rid of the linking to the main articles. You could put the most important articles/ topics in a footer menu and get the same idea. If the content is unique and actually gives answers for those looking for information it is valuable. I also see you put new articles on so this adds to your credibility. What is your aim with the site?
Good luck regards, Tymen
Hi Rand,
In the Netherlands/ Belgium I get no data.. I understand Moz will expand this tool worldwide. Any idea when we can go nuts?
Thanx in advance
Hi Mark,
For traffic I still mainly use Adwords. Moz's Keyword Difficulty is handy when it comes to effectiveness I use
https://moz.com/researchtools/keyword-difficulty and theKeyword Ranking tool for the rankings.
Good luck!
Tymen
Hi Pragnesh,
Tag manager actually speeds up the loading time compared to having different Tags in place so you are good. This is mainly because Tag manager only counts for 1 tag in total nomather how many tags you include. You can check your speed on https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ It also gives you a good list on what to change to make the speed go up.
As long as you are in the green you are safe.
Good luck! Regards Tymen
Hi Meier,
This is possible. You can see your DA and the history on https://analytics.moz.com/links/competitive-metrics/4215297.961982?metric=domain_authority#domain_authority
The number here represents my own membership so for you this would be different. An easy way to get there is go to your dashboard and click on Domain Authority.
P.S It will only show the history since the date you joined Moz.
Good luck!
Tymen
Hi Faye,
What worked well for me is sign up for number of local business listings such as Google My Business (I see that you are showing up there). But also yelp, yell, and many more help to link your company to a specific location.
Did you also try to optimize the homepage for that keyword with Yoast Seo tool for Wordpress? It is a good addition to Moz.
In addition you should work on the speed of the site: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.devonshiredentalcare.co.uk%2F&tab=mobile
This becomes increasingly important to the rankings.
Hope it helps!
Tymen
Hi Iannaude,
I would either rank for both countries with 1 website or rank for 2 countries with 2 websites. 2 websites means; 2 x unique content so is 2 x the work. Depending on the number of products you should make a decision what you want to do.
Good luck!
Tymen
Hi John,
I had the same experience and it will not get better I'm afraid. Best FB will say is that you post a post on the page that will stop with a link to the remaining page.
Good luck!

Hi all,
I am changing my hosting for legal and SEO reasons from http://www to https:// . Now I hear different stories on the redirects:
1: should i try and change my backlinks?
2: internally all links will be 301 redirected at first. Than I want to (manually) change them. It;s within Wordpress so there should be a plugin for this. Tips?
3: Will it affect my rankings and for what period? What I now know that at first it will drop little but eventually you will rank higher than before.
Thanks so much in advance!
Tymen
Hi Jonas,
I work with Woocommerce aswell and had/ have the same issues. I Made speciffic Landing Pages for most important keywords instead of using the category pages. Than redirect it to that page. Main reason was that my template didnt have good options for adding content to category pages. I rank well for the terms i made specific pages for. Content I do is more in the range of 200-300 words. If you add Yoast plugin it will help you out a great lot with the pages and the scores.
Last tip: I would go over to https:// it works really well for me and with Woocommerce you can easily step over without loss in rankings.
So; you're on the right track :).
Good luck!
Tymen
Hi,
I have had similar experiences. Problem most of the times is that the Targetgroup you target on is (too) small. The same people will see the ad and so there are no more likes to get basically.
Hope it helps! Regards Tymen
Hi Heiko,
This option doesn't exist unfortunately. The only way to test this is to run 3 different ad sets I am afraid. In the Netherlands FB does some Support but they also couldn't help me.
Good luck and maybe if enough people start shouting for this (completely logical indeed) option FB will put an effort in making it.
Enjoy your weekend!

Hi John,
I use the https://moz.com/tools/seo-toolbar to quickly scan the potential and "spamminess" of a link to my site. For a more thorough look you can use the open site explorer (https://moz.com/researchtools/ose). Fact is that bad links are bad and I would definitely try to get rid of them if it is that easy as you mentioned. I also use google Search console to see which links are added for SC is more up to date than MOz. New links you can check again with the toolbar/ open site explorer from MOZ. Since you still rank 8th position on the keyword you haven't been penalized yet so I wouldnt worry too much. Indeed put some (hard) work in high quality backlinks and I am sure you will never regret it
Good luck!

Hi Anirban,
If you look at https://support.google.com/news/publisher/answer/68323?hl=en that should help you. I applied once and it took a long tome to get it included. Good luck!

Hi Craig,
I also have products with variations and have them on one product page and than you can select the product variations such as colour and size.
I work with Woocommerce and that works fine for me. I chose this for better SEO options and fbecause Magento 2.0 looks a lot like it but is slower and far more expensive to maintain. The different SKU's are seen as different products but or on one product page. So I have 500+ product pages which result in over 3000 different SKU's.
My site is https://eppinga.nl so take a look around. If you have more questions don't hesitate to contact me.
Regards,
Tymen
Hi,
Maybe: http://sproutsocial.com/ is worth a try. Not cheap eather. I am now testing http://mediainjection.com/ and it seems to be a good tool aswell.
Regards, Tymen
Hi Jonas,
Yes it will affect your rankings; in a positive way ;). You're all set i think!
Hi Swendt,
I use https://www.bing.com/webmaster/ you get a dashboard quite similar as Google Search Console. They even have a SEO report tool where you can see what errors they see when crawling your site. Als their Mobile SEO reporting is pretty good. My belief is that Bing is slower in indexing since news items and new products are not indexed as quick as with Google. A good article on Bing Ranking Factors can be found on http://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/tips/bing-seo-ranking-factors/
Good luck, regards,
Tymen
Hi Craig,
Thanx for the compliment. I talked to a develepor of Woothemes/ Woocomerce last week on a fair and he pointed me to: https://www.woothemes.com/storefront/ it promises to be the most flexible them up till now and your wish should definitely be possible with that. You can also contact them with your wishes and I am sure they can help you further. Best of luck with the Sunglasses :).
