Should i index or noindex a contact page

Im wondering if i should noindex the contact page im doing SEO for a website just wondering if by noindexing the contact page would it help SEO or hurt SEO for that website

Actually, no-indexing your contact page is usually a very bad idea, especially if you are depending on any aspect of local SEO for the site in question.
You Contact page is the ideal spot to include all your geo-location information, your properly formatted NAP (Name, Adderss, Phone) to match your Local Citations, and a Google Map of your location.
As the others have said, even if not depending on Local SEO, there's no value to just no-indexing this single page.

Assuming you are not cannibalizing any of your other pages with keywords or title tags and there is no duplicate content on the contact page, I would index it.

When you don't index a contactpage, people can't find it through Google. In that way they have to go to your website to find it. I would say this isn't real user-friendly.
The no-index function is really for pages you don't want people to find through Google, like thank you pages.

Noindex vs. page removal - Panda recovery
I'm wondering whether there is a consensus within the SEO community as to whether noindexing pages vs. actually removing pages is different from Google Pandas perspective?Does noindexing pages have less value when removing poor quality content than physically removing ie. either 301ing or 404ing the page being removed and removing the links to it from the site? I presume that removing pages has a positive impact on the amount of link juice that gets to some of the remaining pages deeper into the site, but I also presume this doesn't have any direct impact on the Panda algorithm? NoIndex/NoFollow pages showing up when doing a Google search using "Site:" parameter
We recently launched a beta version of our new website in a subdomain of our existing site. The existing site is www.fonts.com with the beta living at new.fonts.com. We do not want Google to crawl the new site until it's out of beta so we have added the following on all pages: However, one of our team members noticed that google is displaying results from new.fonts.com when doing an "site:new.fonts.com" search (see attached screenshot). Is it possible that Google is indexing the content despite the noindex, nofollow tags? We have double checked the syntax and it seems correct except the trailing "/". I know Google still crawls noindexed pages, however, the fact that they're showing up in search results using the site search syntax is unsettling. Any thoughts would be appreciated! DyWRP.png

How to block "print" pages from indexing
I have a fairly large FAQ section and every article has a "print" button. Unfortunately, this is creating a page for every article which is muddying up the index - especially on my own site using Google Custom Search. Can you recommend a way to block this from happening?
