Is Moz not finding the H1s?
-
Our theme adds a class to our site's H1s. For example:
Our front page:...
The blog:
...
As a result, Moz is not seeing the keyword in titles when checking using Page Optimization. The theme developer says there is no setting to turn off in order to test this.
My question is, is this a true issue that is hurting our site or is Moz simply not finding it because it only looks for? Are there other options for troubleshooting this potential issue?
Thanks for your future answers.

Thanks effectdigital, Screaming Frog did show H1s on blogs so I am going to assume it is a non-issue.

If you want I can run your pages through a non-rendered (source only) crawler and see what gets picked up (would need the domain and the types of page you want me to look at, though). If you want to do it yourself I recommend picking up the free version of Screaming Frog SEO Spider which you can download here: https://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/seo-spider/ - even the free version, I think, let's you crawl 500 URLs in one project (or something like that). It would easily be enough to tell what's what

Thank Shahryar89! Great info.
I did check the site using seositecheckup.com and it did show an H1 so I am going to assume all is well.
Thanks again, -
Hi,
Moz tool can be creepy at times, what you can do is that manually check your page If it' has h1 tags are there or not from Inspect element or View Source code. Plus try to use any of these tools like Google tools LightHouse, PagespeedInsights and Mobile FriendlyTest not sure if these tool would give you the answer but then you will see the most of the issues. Try this tool seositecheckup.com and you can also check by fetching a page with rendering HTML to see how does Google reads it or sees it.

Supplementing Moz's Keyword Explorer When Volume Has "No Data?"
Many of the keywords for which I'm trying to find volume information in Moz's Keyword Explorer have "no data." This makes it difficult to determine the value of the keyword compared to other options. What tools / techniques do you use as a stand-in for this data?

I understand it's been asked before, however moz staff is telling me keyword's capitalization is treated as a separate keyword.
So there I was looking through my rankings like every other day, when I see a lowercase and uppercase version of a keyword. Most times I see this, I see them with the same rankings, and even researched this about 5 months ago, when I came to the conclusion that google treats them the same way. However, this day I saw them as different ranks, same keyword, only capitalized 1st letter of the 2 word keyword. I asked moz staff about this, as I felt it was an error. But was met with the answer that google does indeed treat these keywords differently. My line of thought was that the rank checker didn't check both the lowercase and uppercase keyword at the same time, and SERPs happened to change when the second word was checked for rank, returning a different rank. So now, I am in doubt again, as to uppercase and lowercase keywords being different or the same in google's eyes? I honestly don't know why a uppercase keyword would have different motive from searcher than a lowercase when many time not, searchers can't even spell the keyword correctly.

How Do You Find the Total Search Volume for an Industry?
Currently my company is working on trying to find the total search volume (read: search potential) for our industry, but aren't sure how best to go about it. Obviously GWT data and Keyword Planner data came to mind, but those are not all encompassing (at least we don't think they are) -- GWT only has data for terms you rank for and the Keyword Planner only gives you volume if you already know the queries. Is there some quick and easy way to go about finding this that we haven't thought of? One thing to note is that our business is nationwide, meaning that all our terms will have a geo-identifier associated with them for each location i.e. [city] + search term -- this just makes things even more complicated. Any advice on to approach would be much appreciated!
