Issue for Sales Team & Funnelling Smaller Orders
-
Hi, Hoping somebody might have some suggestions for funnelling smaller orders and larger orders on different journeys. Basically, 90% of our business comes from 10% of customers with larger orders, like contractors and organisations who fill out leads or call us. But about 90% of the sales teams time is taken up from handling lots of smaller calls, which account for <5% of our revenue.
Obviously we still want these smaller orders, but would anyone have any suggestions on moving these customers away from phone calls? We've tried to add as much content to the site as possible to answer they're questions, but they seem to just call anyway.
Hope you can help!
Thanks -
@frankie-btdublin You could test a "contact us" form or "help bot" instead of having your phone number visible on your site.
For example, you could ask questions in that form to qualify your leads and follow up with them accordingly.
If they meet the qualifications for a sales call, then you can have sales follow up accordingly. If not, you could send an automated email directing them to a self-serve portal where they can purchase what they need.

Facebook conversions - issue in calculation
Hi, I have a few campaigns for conversions on Facebook, but any of them don't show to me real numbers. There are 4 times more conversions on Facebook than in GA. I did a little research. The problem is that - Facebook pixel calculates all possible conversions from all sources, and because my campaign results are wrong e.g.: Facebook campaign results: Conversions: 10 | Cost per conversion: 1 GA for that campaign (real numbers): Conversions 1 | Cost per conversion: 1 GA from all campaigns and sources: 10 It's that correct? Pls help. Br. Marco

Figuring out why sales drop significantly from one day to another
Hi all, We're running an eCommerce site and are using Moz to track our organic results i primarily we are using the Rank tracker and On page analysis tools. One strange issue that we experience on our website is sales dropping from one day to the next unexplainably (to us anyway). For example, one day (could be any day of the week or weekend) we'll make £1,000 of sales, the next £200 - the following might be back up to £1,000. I've tried looking for patterns in traffic, but oddly even on the days when we have poor sales we still tend to have almost as much traffic. We also use adwords, which account for about 50% of sales - on some of the poor days our spend on adwords is down, on others it's not. If the spend is down I could make a fair assumption that our competitors are playing around with their bids. I'm interesting in trying to determine why we have such irregular sales patterns. If they dropped 10/20% I could quite easily put it down to any number of factors - even the weather for example, however drops of 80/90% seem strange. I don't really know where to look for the answers - my first thought was that on the poor days I should check whether our organic rankings had dropped significantly overnight - but the Moz Rank Tracker only updates once per week, so perhaps there is an alternative way someone could suggest? I'd be really interested to hear from any of you that might have been through similar struggles, or, have some ideas that might help us get to the bottom of the fluctuation in sales. Thanks in advance for your time. Kind regards,

Google Experiments issues
Hey fellow Mozzers! We're in the middle of working on CRO for a client of ours and we were going to try out Google Experiments for the first time. Following the click path described on the Google help page should take me to an option that says 'Create Experiment', but this isn't coming up - do we need to create the various URLs before it will let us set up an experiment, or has the system changed now? I've found in the past Google has a habit of updating its interfaces but not the advice on using the affected tools, so wondering if I'm looking at old information? Secondly, does the Experiment show a user the same variation of the page throughout their journey? What I mean by that is: their site currently has a real mish-mash of page styles, and I think a large part of boosting their conversions is probably down to ensuring consistency across the site as it currently seems like you're bouncing around different sites. But will this issue be made worse by running Experiments - ie, will I enter the site on Variation A, click a link and be shown the next page in Variation B and so on? If so, are we better off running the experiment on one page at a time and using what we've learnt to impact the next page? Thank for any help you can give! Nick.

Google Adwords Offered to Redesign My Website & A/B Test... Thoughts?
I received a call from the Google Adwords team today offering to redesign major pages of my website & A/B test their design against mine. The rep said that this is not a standard service they offer and that we had been "selected". Despite it's overt marketing overtones, I would hate to pass by the opportunity to apply Google's conversion insight to my site. Has anyone experienced this before? Good experience? Bad experience?

There are They have asked for a site build but my question is Is there a benefit to writing unique copy for this one product on each micro site/sales page and focus on a particular keyword, with an email capture for lead generation and also a link back to the main site. Buy domains with targeted keywords in them : www.workplacepensions.co.uk www.auto-opt-in-pensions.co.uk etc? Thoughts please as it will change my proposal 😉

Reviews not shown on google search & seller rating extensions (adwords)
Hello, we have 2 questions, regarding reviews from rating websites. 1. Reviews on google Search We have several reviews for our website www.theprintspace.co.uk from various rating sites (e.g. qype, yelp, remotegoat, etc.). When searching for theprintspace on google, only some reviews and only some rating website are shown, most are not. For qype, for instance, we have 8 reviews, but google only indicates that we have 3. The yelp reviews (and many others) are not shown at all. According to google, it takes a maximum of 2 months for the correct number of reviews to be shown on google, but the reviews have been online for over 2 months now. Is there any way this problem can be solved, so google shows the correct number of reviews? 2. Seller rating extensions on google adwords We would like the reviews to be displayed in our google adwords as a seller rating extension. These will include the merchant star rating for advertisers that are highly rated on Google Product Search. We are setting up a google merchant account to do so. Google says: "Ratings are based on the user reviews collected by Google Product Search, which aggregates reviews from a broad base of sources across the web, including Reseller Ratings, Bizrate, ReviewCentre.com and Viewpoints." Do you know if the following rating website are in google's "base of sources" and will thus be recognised and used in google adwords as rating extensions? Yelp Qype Scoot Remotegoat viewlondon tipped Or does google only source from big e-commerce rating websites? How do we get the ratings into our adwords? Thank you for your help!

Based on what seems like a general agreement that the Panda update has modified Google's algorithm and on page metrics such as Bounce rate, Time on Site & Page views per visit are now vital to a websites rankings. What methods are you using to improve these metrics? Have they worked?
