What is this SERP feature called? Organic ads...?
-
What are these called (screenshot attached)? They are organic product listings in the body of the SERP that look just like paid ads, but are placed below paid ads.
I would like to read up on how to optimize for them, but am having trouble finding information.

@Kateparish Thank you -- I think this is it. These are definitely not paid ads or a featured snippet. It's discouraging to see how thoroughly Amazon and the big box stores dominate these listings...
-
The SERP feature you might be referring to is called "Featured Snippet." A Featured Snippet is a highlighted search result that appears at the top of the organic search results, usually in a box or container. It provides a brief summary of the answer to the user's query and can include text, images, and even videos.
However, if you are referring to ads that appear in the search results, those are typically referred to as "paid search ads" or "search engine advertising" rather than organic ads. Paid search ads are placed by advertisers who bid on specific keywords, and they appear at the top and/or bottom of the search engine results page (SERP). Unlike organic search results, paid search ads are paid for by the advertiser and are not influenced by the website's content or search engine optimization efforts.

Those organic product listings in the body of the SERP that look like paid ads are called Google Shopping Ads. They are also sometimes referred to as Product Listing Ads (PLAs).To optimize for Google Shopping Ads, you need to create a product feed that contains all of your product information, such as product name, description, image, and price. You can submit this feed to Google Merchant Center, which is a tool that allows you to manage your product data and create Google Shopping campaigns.
In addition to creating a product feed, you can optimize your Google Shopping Ads by focusing on the quality of your product data, optimizing your bids and budgets, and creating compelling product titles and descriptions that accurately represent your products.
You can find more information on optimizing for Google Shopping Ads on Google's Advertising Help Center.

@LivDetrick The organic product listings you refer to are commonly known as "Google Shopping listings" or "Google Product listings." These listings appear as product images, prices, and other relevant information in a box format within the Google search results page, typically below the paid ads and above the organic search results.
To optimize for Google Shopping listings, you can create a Google Merchant Center account and upload your product feed. Ensure that your product feed includes all the relevant information, such as product title, description, pricing, and high-quality images. Additionally, optimize your product pages on your website by including relevant keywords, clear product descriptions, and high-quality photos.
To learn more about optimizing for Google Shopping listings, visit the Google Merchant Center Help Center or Google Ads Help Center. There are also many resources available online from industry experts and digital marketing blogs.

Site Name as displayed in serp is a completely random company in an entirely different industry!
Hello! I am looking at a site that has its site name displayed incorrectly in the SERPS. The site name is showing as a company from the airline industry while the site in question provides hypnotherapy services. This issue is on every page except the homepage. I have checked source code and the structured data. Local business structured data with the correct company name - I can't find anything at all in the source code that refers to this random airline! Thank you for reading this and for any ideas or suggestions! Here is a screenshot that illustrates the issueUntitled.jpg

Adding Reviews to JSON Product Schema Markup
Hi everyone, Below is an example of some JSON product schema markup I'd like to integrate into my site. My question is, what do I need to do to incorporate the individual reviews on a product page as well? I've tried a few different things but I can't get it to validate.

Exclude mobile pages from non mobile Google serps
Hi Everybody I see that a lot of our pages on our mobile shop has started to turn up when i do site:domainname.com on google. As they could potentially compete with the similar non mobile version of the same page, is there some way to exlude the mobile domain in non mobile google result without blocking the mobile version altogether. We use an m.domain.com version for our mobile site.

Is it possible for someone outside an organization to remove links?
The other day I used the Explorer tool to check my links. I checked again today, and the strongest links, which have been on my site for many months, are no longer listed on the report. I'm wondering if there has been some malicious activity. If the links have been removed, how do you get them back?

Dramatic Decrease in Google Organic Traffic Indicates a Penalty But None Found
So we've been having some difficulty with one of our websites since we split it in half and moved one section of content to a new domain with a new name, at the end of May. http://www.dialtosave.co.uk/mobile/ was moved to http://www.somobile.co.uk And in the following 6 weeks, the google organic traffic has fallen to miniscule levels, that seem to indicate a more serious issue than just low ranking. Initially when the site was moved, the 301s transferred the authority very quickly and the new website pages ranked well. Now, some of them simply won't rank at all unless you include the name of the website "somobile". Here is one of the current rankings that indicates an issue:

"somobile" - 1
"somobile mobile phones" - not in top 50 These are some of the terms we used to rank in the top 10 on Google UK, and still do on Bing UK, but don't rank in the top 50 on Google UK now:
samsung galaxy ace
apple iphone 5 deals
samsung tocco icon Our webmaster central account says that only 30% of the pages in our sitemap are in the index. It seems like a penalty has been imposed, but our reconsideration request (just submitted because it seemed like a sensible next step) came back saying there were no manual actions taken. Can you see what it is that might be causing the problem for us? I would have thought it was the new domain (with less direct links and less brand credibility), or content issues, but I would have thought that would just reduce the ranking by a few pages rather than just hide the pages altogether.0
