Is there such thing as a site free from errors?
-
Or is this a given? I am new to SEO and SEOmoz.
One of my campaigns is completley free of errors...the others are a work in progress. Now I realize that SEO is never done, but can a site actually be free of errors?
If so... I just gave myself a pat on the back.

Sure, every site I write is free of errors : )
I do have some with warnings, but none with errors.

SEOMOZ spiders have a crawl schedule. It is possible that the spiders have not crawled your entire website. I had a customer site that took 2 week to start reporting errors on the campaign dashboard.
You can also install Google web master tools to double check and run Xenu link sleught.
Yes. It is possible to have site free from error as long as you don't have any dup content, title, 4xx, 5xx or robot issues being reported on the Moz campaign dashboard.

Can someone explain the attached on page error message?
Two weeks ago, I took down our mobile site and switched to one on dudamobile. However, for some reason, I keep getting this error/improvement message on my on page report. I do not see how I can have a cannocial problem with a page that is no longer there. Can someone explain that and what I can do about it? Thanks! eQTNRD6.png

How can I prevent errors of duplicate page content generated by my tags from my wordpress on-site blog platform?
When I add meta data and a canonical reference to my blog tags for my on-site blog which works using a wordpress.org template, Roger generates errors of duplicate content. How can I avoid this problem? I want to use up to 5 tags per post, with the same canonical reference and each campaign scan generates errors/warnings for me!

Increase of 404 error after change of encoding
Hello, We just have launch a new version of our website with a new utf-8 encoding. Thing is, we use comma as a separator and since the new website went live, I have a massive increase of 404 error of comma-encoded URL. Here is an example : http://web.bons-de-reduction.com/annuaire%2C321-sticker%2Csite%2Cpromotions%2C5941.html instead of : http://web.bons-de-reduction.com/annuaire,321-sticker,site,promotions,5941.html I check with Screaming Frog SEO and Xenu, I can't manage to find any encoded URL. Is anyone have a clue on how to fix that ? Thanks

Comparing with Open Site Explorer
Hi, I am trying to compare a website that has a url of e.g. https://mysite.com on Open Site Explorer. Any idea how to do this? It will only compare it when I use www and it also doesn't accept https. So I am comparing www.mysite.com which has redirects on it https://mysite.com but I am worried it's not comparing the right stats? If this makes sense and you can help it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Looking for Advice on SEO for Minimilistic Site
Hi everyone, I found this site and it looks like a great place for us to start, we have just opened the doors to our new website fenwaymedia thats a dot co dot uk. Now Ihave tried to maintain the most minimilistic design throughout but I believe with this comes certain drawbacks - - - - S E O which is why i am here. My thought were that I would draw my clients from the Web Design, web Marketing & Blog page which I will starting in 3 hours be constantly updating. but Im not sure Im doing the right thing. I am trying to target Edinburgh, Scotland although we would take work from anywhere, if anyone could spare us a moment, I would greatly appreciate any help, tips or comments that might help us attain some visibility. Thanks in advance and thanks for looking. Kind regards, Craig

External Links through Open site explorer
I have just ran an Open site explorer query on our site due to having one of a constant ranking keywords drop, and found that we have 48 new links appear on the report under the anchor text 'home' These are not normal links, and I cannot see where or how these have been connected to our site for example: <colgroup span="1"><col span="1" width="696"></colgroup>

What are they? How can I get them removed, and let google know this was nothing to do with us? Thanks S |0
