For SEO value....Good, good and more good. No duplicate content issues there. The more the merrier.
But some people that are very focused on user experiences warn against it becuase they think it make you look spammy.... see this article....
But you can also read this article from a google employee about ways to cross post easily from google plus and other areas..... IT ADDS VALUE FOR SEO. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

Quick Start SEO Tasks for Brand New Multi Regional Website
Hello All Webmasters, I have questions on organic visits for my fresh website targeted in Australia. I am a webmaster of http://www.canvaschamp.com.au/ and we have launched this domain before 20 days around on the date 7th Aug 2014. I have set up display network ads campaign for quick visits and going to start Product Listing Campaign soon for our products to get transaction. I also set up my social media accounts but have not update anything with them yet. But my biggest concern is to build organic links through various link building activities as per latest trend. I have couple of questions which i mentioned below My domain for AUS: http://www.canvaschamp.com.au/ How can i increase my organic visits? (Right now didn't get any organic visit) Which Link building activities still works to get maximum organic visits and how can i improve my social media performance? What are the steps to go forward to promote and increase my performance in Google ranking for this new website? (Any steps by step activity to go ahead?) Should i keep my link building activities limited to .com.au websites or can i promote globally?? Looking forward to hear from all my expert webmaster friends to help me out and to improve my site's performance. Thanks

What percentage of linking root domains is safe for guest posting
Hello, From what I've been experiencing and learning lately, link building seems to be good only in moderation and content marketing - stellar targeted authoritative content - attracting links and pushing it on social channels seems to be much safer. My question is, high quality guest posting - quality sites with good anchor text profile 3+ PR (hopefully more) and one link back from the body of the content to the home page or an article you're pushing - seems good but only in moderation. For high quality guest posting, what would you recommend our percentage of linking root domains to allocating to guest posting. I'm looking for a safe percentage that will hopefully not get devalued any time soon, and any additional advice on making this a good long term balanced strategy. Thanks.

Duplicating content on more than one social network
I am just getting in to social media for my company and i can find an answer to my questions. Different people give a different answer. Question: i have written a post and uploaded it to our Google+ page. If i upload the same post / content to our Facebook page, will this fall foul of the 'duplicate content' rule with Penguin? Or does that rule only relate to websites? Any Guru's out there with an answer? Much appreciated. Si

Building links to a Twitter/social account
I've seen plenty of articles about using Twitter to build links, but how about building links to a Twitter account? Does registering on sites and directories like Topsy, Twellow and Klout help? We can link to Twitter accounts on our own websites and other social profiles, and use it as our link on blog comments etc, but is there anywhere else specific?

Outsourcing social media optimization
Is it a good idea to outsource social media optimization or is it something that has to be done in-house? I understand the question is kind of vague, but what I had in mind was to have an offshore contractor post daily about individual products and try to increase our following on twitter/facebook (i.e "social footprint").

Should I post these viral videos/photos on my website?
I started posting viral videos and stuff that I found on reddit and youtube on my facebook fan page. It's getting a lot of attention and creating more opportunities for bonding with my fans/customers. I'm just wondering what you guys think about reposting some of this stuff on my blog...do you think it would be worth the time and effort? I've experimented with a few and it really does draw traffic to my site...and gets me facebook shares. But the traffic is very poorly converting. So, now I'm trying to decide if the extra time it takes (i.e. 5-10 minutes to write a blog post and include the video imbed code vs. 20 seconds to just hit the "share" button) is worth it. What do you think?

Social Media Convergence Issues
Hello and Good Morning, I have a tech convergence question... In our social media package we have listed that we will subscribe to hubpages and scribd. a lot of these services do the same thing (twitter vs identi.ca, color vs instagram, gowalla vs fourquare, ect), what are some of the better services to use and why? We have our favorites but they may not necessarily be the most effective. thanks!

How much is enough when it comes to Social Media?
I have attended a number of social media webinars with tips on getting the most out of Facebook and Twitter. Now, I would like opinions from someone who is not trying to sell me something. We post 2 daily blog articles to our Facebook company page which auto re-posts to Twitter every day. Is that enough, or is it necessary to hire someone to engage people with additional conversation? If your answer is that additional conversation is needed, are there any companies or individuals that you recommend to provide these services at a reasonable cost?
