Why does page report still have "Too Many Links" alert?
-
I'm a new Moz Pro user and see that the on-page optimization report includes "too many links" on page and references the "100 links" guideline that Google no longer endorses: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=l6g5hoBYlf0
Too many links is still an issue in terms of passing link juice, but not much else. Matt Cutts has stated that it is fine to have many internal links in this regard.
Please correct me if I am mistaken.

Thanks for confirming! Yes, I agree about user experience, but the many links come from two navigation menus which expand down to lower categories. It is a pretty simple UI: http://store.payloadz.com

You are right! More than 100 links per page is not really a problem for Google but I guess this is still a valuable option as adding too many links can hurt user experience as well! 100 is just a number but other than Google you should also give importance to user experience as well!

Moz Reporting a brand page as KW stuffed for the the brand KW, not a problem i presume ?
Hi if I'm getting a keyword stuffing warning on Moz for a brand page for the brand name kw that shouldn't really matter should it? Moz just oversimplifying it since seen the brand name says 27 times on a page think it's stuffed, but if its a 2000 word page all about the brand, those occurrences are totally natural & hence Google will think so too generally speaking? Thanks Dan

On Page Reports for Long-Tail Keywords?
First Q&A here, so take it easy on me. Hopefully this is not a dumb question. 99% of the on page reports I look at are for local keywords. I'm finding that some of the page reports get and F where they should be receiving A's. I noticed if I manage a long-tail keyword like "books in houston tx" that I get a grade based on the exact phrase as opposed to a combination of the keywords. So when I have text in the body saying "books in the Houston area" or "Houston Books" for example, instead of using my exact managed keyword, it will tell me that the keyword is not mentioned in the body anywhere. When it is, it's just not in the exact order... I'm trying to write my pages for users and I don't think the users want to hear "books in houston tx" several times. If I do a report on the same page for the keyword "books" I get an A. So this is where it gets a little in the grey area for me. I need a solid on page report for local long-tail search terms. Anyone have any advice? Is there a way I could be using this tool to better suit my needs?

On page links tool here at Seomoz
Hi Seomoz - first of all, thanks for the best SEO tools I have ever worked with (this is my first question in this forum, and also I just subscribed as a paying customer after the 30 days trial you guys offer). My question: After having worked for several weeks on getting the numbers of links in our forum on www.texaspoker.dk down, we are somewhat surprised to see that we didn't succeed in getting lower numbers. For instance, this page: http://www.texaspoker.dk/forum/aktuelle-konkurrencer/coaching-projekt-bliver-du-den-udvalgte has (that's what Seomoz seo tool tells us): 239 on page links. Can this really be true? We can't find these links, and we actuually did a lot to lower the numbers of links, for instance the forum members picture was a link before, and also there was a "go to top" link in each post in the forum. Thanks a lot.

eg: Page One

<title>Page one</title>
No canonical url Page Two
<title>Page one</title> Page two is counted as being a page with a duplicate page title.

Why am I still Unranked in SEOmoz?
I was very active in SEOmoz's Q&A forums today and completed my profile - raising my Moz points from 0 to 50. On my profile, however, I am still listed as Unranked. Also, I do not appear on the SEOmoz Top Members List next to other users with 50 points. I'm guessing this is something that is updated once a day or so, and the rank will update tomorrow. Is my suspicion correct?
