Content Writing Service Recommendations

I am looking to hire a content writer for our sites. Anyone familiar with a service where the manage the content on your site?
Basically, come up with topics & content ideas, then writing the content.
Please give me an idea of the pricing if possible.
Greatly appreciate any help.

There are multiple options you have and no option in my opinion is bad!
Option 1:
Here the idea is to research some companies, interview them and ask very specific questions about how they can help you achieve your desired goal. If anyone sounds a good fit for you, just check their testimonials and decide if you want to go for it or not!
Option 2:
If you want a content producer to produce content for your blog then my advice would be to search for popular bloggers within your niche. You follower wonk to see who they are and then contact them to se if they can work for you!
Hope this helps!

You have a few options here. You could take a look at the popular bloggers in your industry and contact them directly. They already write content and are familiar with your industry, so they may be willing to work with your site directly to create content and manage it as a "ghost writer" or "ghost editor". You can usually end up having a good mutual long term relationship with someone specific that you may even to meet with in person every once in a while.
An alternative would be a company, but you may end up with writers and editors that are not located in your country or you might have to deal with a higher turnover rate with employees.
There are firms such as our firm that manage content and have an internal staff that can handle your needs; it's important to make sure that the writers are familiar with SEO best practices and can also help promote your content properly, as well.

Hi there,
I do have a great recommendation for a company that handles content ideation, creation and management called Passion Fruit Creative Group. I'm unsure of the prices, since they really vary depending on the type of content and other needs, but I've personally worked with both of the co-founders in the past and they're excellent.
Here's a link to their website and contact form so you can check them out and get in touch:

Internal blog with history and some SEO value versus new external blogs with specialized content?
We operate a blog inside a folder on our site and considering the launch of 4 highly focused blogs with specialized content which are now categories on the internal blog. Wondering if there is more value in using the external new blogs or just keep growing the internal blog content. Does fact that the internal blog is buried amongst millions of pages have any impact if we want the content indexed and value given to the links from the blog content to our main site pages.

Should cornerstone content have 3,500 words? Does Google discern words from the main text and from the references?
Is it true that cornerstone content should have at least 3,500 words? I've done some research and found that the recommended amount is between 2K-10k. Also, the content that we create/publish has a lot of references/citations at the end of each article. Does Google discern words from the main text and from the references? Meaning should I count references as part of the word count? Thanks for the help!

Does a "Read More" button to open up the full content affect SEO?
As we've been refining our metrics for gauging whether or not a blog is effective -- if people are engaging with it -- one of the strategies we've seen (e.g. NYT, WaPo, Yahoo!) is "Read More." I've read a few articles with some who advocate using it and others who discourage it. Does anyone have any history adding "Read More" to their content and the effect it had?

Duplicate Content behind a Paywall
We have a website that is publicly visible. This website has content. We'd like to take that same content, put it on another website, behind a paywall. Since Google will not be able to crawl those pages behind the paywall is there any risk to ua doing this? Thanks! Mike

Services Page vs Page For Each Service Offered
Read an interesting article about how websites with just a "services" page suffer and they should try to create a meaningful page for each service they offer... Read so many blogs right now that I can't remember where I saw it

Onsite Content - Word Count & KW Density
Does the word count of a webpage make a difference to search engines? Are longer word counts on pages indexed higher or given higher priority? For example, say you have 300 words of copy packed with 20 keywords, and say you also have 700 words of copy that have the same 20 keywords worked in, does Google have a preference over which one it ranks higher?

Duplicat Website Content? (UK, Ireland)
Hi, My website is based in Ireland on a .ie domain & now I would like to enter the UK market on a .co.uk Is it ok for me to duplicate my .ie website and provide all the information on a .co.uk OR is this considered duplicate content in terms of Google. (I'm led to believe that your own content on my domain's is not considered duplicate & this is only considered duplicate content when you go from .com to .ie, .co.uk etc). (all content, images, branding are my own).
