Receiving incorrect data for eFurnitureHouse.com recently migrated from Network Solutions to Big Commerce
-
We have recently migrated www.eFurnitureHouse.com from Network Solutions to Big Commerce.
- The Crawl data we are receiving from MOZ is stating (missing meta description) for product categories.
However, the meta description is there.
- On WMT ( HTML improvements) we are receiving 1000s of (Pages with duplicate meta descriptions).
However, when you click on older URL it correctly redirect to new.
- On WMT ( HTML improvements) we are also receiving 1000s of ( pages with duplicate title tags)
We would greatly appreciate any help here.
Regards,
Tony

It looks like there's something going on oddly with your redirects. I'd be double checking that those redirects are indeed 301s so they're picking up the current meta description (along with the rest of the info!). While on the user end, it looks great, the bots are getting different signals.
I also noticed that I was able to get this page: http://www.efurniturehouse.com/full-over-full-bunk-beds/
Which your current page is at http://www.efurniturehouse.com/full-over-full-bunk-beds-1/

No data in Moz
Hello, Since last tuesday there has been no data in Moz anymore. The error code for the homepage says: '608 : Page not decodable as specified Content-Encoding:' I checked this list http://moz.com/help/pro/why-can-t-rogerbot-crawl-my-site but it doesn't tell me more.

Moz vs google data conflict?
Hi there, I am doing an SEO site audit for a client(giveaway, and here is the problem: when performing site:domain.com on google --> 13,800 pages were found When I see this number it seems to be a bit too much compare to the links i checked on integrity(link check for broken links) which gave me a result of 1291. I digged in more into the Google results and saw hundreds(maybe thousands) of pages that are blocked by robots.txt. So I am thinking, ok this is it, thousands of pages can't be crawled by the search engines. Here is the big BUT though, then I check at my moz crawl (see attachment) and no pages are blocked by the SEs, and then look at the dups, only 23 recorded?? Is Moz not crawling properly the 13,800 results that google finds or is this some magical phenomenon happening here? I am really confused here that is why I need some help here! Thank you guys! Internal Links Data on OSE and poor ranking despite excellent metrics
Hi folks, I use OSE a lot for comparing where we stand against our competitors and I'm always surprised to see most of our competitors have loads more internal links than we do. For example, comparing 'www.kensyard.co.uk' with 'www.sterlingbuild.co.uk', we are better on every Root Domain Metric except for the Total Links metric and this is down to a much smaller number of internal links. They are ranking better than us in Google so I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the way our site is coded / structured that means Google and OSE are not picking up our internal link network properly? We have over nine times as many external root domains linking to our site than theirs, which is surely a far more valuable metric than internal links right? Or is there an issue with our internal link structure that is confusing Google and causing us to rank lower? Many thanks for any advice, Luke

You've recently updated your brand rules. We're fetching your new data, and we should have it ready for you within the hour.
Why do i always see this message when entering a certain campaign? "You've recently updated your brand rules. We're fetching your new data, and we should have it ready for you within the hour." I didnt change a thing since i started this campaign two-three weeks ago ...

Changing the Timeframe of Historical Crawl Data
Hello, Just read a great post about the implications of duplicate content for sites after the most recent Panda update: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/duplicate-content-in-a-post-panda-world?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+seomoz+(SEOmoz+Daily+Blog) In the post is an image or crawl data history that shows months, not days or weeks, worth of trending data as it relates to duplicate content. So my question is this: How do I change my view/date range on my own campaigns so that I can view the trailing months of data rather than only what seems to be the past 4 weeks or so? This would really help me identify the impact of some on page changes we've recently made for a client. Many Thanks, Jared

How do data feeds work in product selection
Hi – I don't know if this is an SEO matter or not, but I have data feeds to Google, Bing and thefind.com for all of my products. I have no idea if these feeds help. My guess is that they do not generate much business. For example if I type in "Brass Bookends" our products usually don't show up until the late pages. Using this as an example does anyone know how these sites select the order in which they display products? Another way to phrase this is what makes thefind.com show a competitor's brass bookends several pages before ours? FYI we have been doing these data feeds for a year on a consistent basis so being new shouldn't be a factor. Any insights will be most appreciated. Thanks. Don. www.uniquegiftsanddecor.com

How Do You Leverage Linkscape Data to Overcome Your Competitors?
Hi everyone...I used Q&A a long time ago when my company had a paid subsription but I haven't used it in a while, so I'm excited! And since the Q&A is apparently addressed to the Moz community, I figured I would embrace it and ask all of the Mozzers out there: How do YOU use Linkscape to reverse engineneer a competitor's website? I understand how to use Linkscape. What I'm looking for is specific filtering or "out of the box" uses of Linkscape to truly understand how a website has obtained it's ranking in the search results. In particular, I'm really curious about how everyone (including those who truly know how Linkscape works, i..e the minds behind it) make sense of the "DJ Passed" #'s or "most important links" criteria. I realize Linkscape is wonderful, but what I've found is that often times the links that "pass the most juice" or the links that are the "most important" AREN'T actually the most important links on a site. For example, I often find that the links that have the highest "DJ Passed" are directories. I could be wrong, but my guess would be that directories actually pass very little link juice. If directories gave as much link juice as the linkscape metrics indicate, then they are by far the best linking source, which I think we all know isn't the case in most instances. To be clear...My intention is not to "debunk" the value of Linkscape...On the contrary, I think it's a wonderful tool and I want to understand it's nuances so I can identify "false positives", use it to get a true picture of a website, and get any tips/tricks from those who've successuly used it to overcome there competitors. Thanks ahead of time!
