-
Hi all mozzers,
I am having confusion to understand the fact and importance to target a single or related grouped keywords which is quite broader in terms of relevancy being found within our business.
Let's explain more in detail:
Suppose we have a website: abc.com deal businesses in "Party Supplies, Party Decorations"Where the term "Party Supplies" being used exact or randomly many places, please see below finalized Titles respective to each landing page:
abc.com/birthday/
title - Birthday Party Supplies - Kids Birthday Party Decorations Ideasabc.com/wedding/
title - Wedding Favors - Wedding Party Decorations & Centerpiecesabc.com/baking/
title - Buy Baking Supplies - Cupcake & Cake Decorating Suppliesabc.com/occasions/
title - Special Occasions Parties Supplies & Events - Party TimeMy main concern is, do our keyword party supplies gets stuck with "Keyword Cannibalization" ? If yes then what is the best advice you folks like to input here in order to safeguard and optimize best our landing pages for the such broader related search terms within the businesses.
I am looking for best answer here

Well for one thing keeping and maintaining a keyword map that is map out to all the url's you want to target might help. Also, consider adding modifiers on keywords that you suspect might fall victim to cannibalization.

A Sudden Drop in Keyword Ranking but why?
Hi, I wondered if anyone has ever experienced anything like this before, one of our customers has a website JDB Events (http://www.jdb-events.com/). When he first came to us he was using Fast Hosts and he was experiencing down time pretty much every day in periods of up to an hour. The first step before carrying out any SEO was to place the website on our VPS so that the downtime issue was resolved. It did resolve the issue and the speed of the website was also increased. My next issue was to address the length of the Title on the home page because it was 157 characters, I usually keep these to 70 characters. This is the old Meta Title: JDB Events Limited - Event, Production & AV Hire Specialists | The West Midlands Dance Floor Hire, LED Furniture, DJ, Disco Hire & Event Services Specialists Here is the my new Meta Title: JDB Events | LED Furniture Hire for Parties and Corporate Events I have attached a screenshot of the drop that I have experienced, would anyone recommend that it's ok to keep the title longer so that I can cram more search terms into it, I use Woo Rank as a bench mark and this recommends shortening the title but I would be interested in hearing anyone's views. Other steps that I have taken: Shortened the home page description WWW Resolve Added Robots.txt Crawled all of the pages for 404 errors etc The next step I'm thinking of taking is replacing the amended meta title and description for the old one and monitoring that, other than that I can't see why I have taken such a hit. Thanks NewServerSpeedTest.png OldServerSpeedTest.png Rankings.png

Getting People to Leave Product Reviews, When they've reached our site in search of reviews
We have a product review website that has been showing a steady increase in organic traffic. However we seem to be having a disconnect between what happens when a visitor arrives. We essentially want a visitor coming to our website in search of a review, to LEAVE a review for another product they may have used... Any suggestions on ways we might encourage this? We are kind of newbies at this!

Where are the best resources for Real Estate Internet Marketing?
I've done a bit of research, but I have yet to come across a list of highly respected marketers who focus on Real Estate...are there any must know sites or individuals who write on the topic regularly? Based on the Comp analysis we've done for a local boutique real estate firm, most of the competing link profiles are dirty...and we were hoping to get a more holisitic look at what works for the long term. Any push in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

Ranking multiple domains in the SERPS for same keywords?
Curious if anyone has had success ranking multiple sites with same whois and server info? We have a client who has purchased multiple businesses over the years in the same industry. Each site has a solid amount of link popularity already and good respected Brand. But I'm wondering with the whois info being the same and the same servers, if ranking for multiple domains will be worth attempting.
