What are the best suites of SEO tools?
-
I normally use SEOmoz and a bit of SEMrush but I dont really know much outside of those two. Im looking to do a review of the big, trustworthy ones - along the lines of
- free trial
- price vs value
- ranktracking
- linkbuilding help
- onpage analysis and help
- competitor analysis
- reports
I heard good things about Raven Tools and Web CEO. Ive seen mention of SEOpowersuite on this forum but the site looks spammy as hell
Anyone have a view on those 5 tools or any others in a similar vein? Or any other top line criteria I should be looking at?
Cheers

SEO Best Practices for Customer Portals
We have a customer portal which is used to display customer's serial numbers, the knowledgebase, support ticketing information and forum. This information is behind a wall as a user must have support in order to view. The question is what are the best practices for SEO with the customer portal? Should we block these sections from bots? Is there a way to take advantage of the number of pages that are within the portal?

Pagination, Javascript & SEO
Hi I need some help identifying whether we need to rethink the way we paginated product pages, On this page http://www.key.co.uk/en/key/workbenches when clicking page 1,2, etc - we have javascript to sort the results, the URL displayed and the URL linked to are different. e.g. The URL for these paginated pages is for example: page2 http://www.key.co.uk/en/key/workbenches#productBeginIndex:30&orderBy:5&pageView:list& Then the arrows either side of pagination, link to the paginated landing page e.g. http://www.key.co.uk/en/key/workbenches?page=3 - this is where the rel/prev details are - done for Google However - when clicking on this arrow, the URL loaded is different again - http://www.key.co.uk/en/key/workbenches#productBeginIndex:60&orderBy:5&pageView:list& & doesn't take you http://www.key.co.uk/en/key/workbenches?page=3 I did not set this up, but I am concerned that the URL http://www.key.co.uk/en/key/workbenches?page=3 never actually loads, but it's linked to Google can crawl it. Is this a problem? I am looking to implement a view all option. Thank you

Should I care about this Webmaster Tools Message
Here is the message: "Googlebot found an extremely high number of URLs on your site: http://www.uncommongoods.com/" Should i try to do anything about this? We are not having any indexation issues so we think Google is still crawling our whole site. What could be some possible repercussions of ignoring this? Thanks Mozzers! -Zack

SEO Checklist for eCommerce?
Over the past week or so, my eCommerce site has experienced a large drop in organic traffic from Google.I have used analytics to determine that the pages that have seen the biggest losses in traffic are product pages. I know there are so many seo checklists/site audit checklists out there recommending different things, but does anyone have a good checklist (or link to a good checklist) that would fit our situation best? Thank you!

Webmaster Tools Internal Links
Hi all, I have around 400 links in the navigation menu (site-wide) and when I use webmaster tools to check for internal links to each page; some have as many as 250K and some as little as 200. Shouldn't the number of internal links for pages found in the navigation menu be relatively the same? Or is Google registering more internal links for pages linked closer to the top of the code Thanks!
