Any idea how I can download backlinks via the sear console API?
This page from Google has a few commands but not the back links one - https://developers.google.com/apis-explorer/#p/webmasters/v3/
Has anyone collected backlinks data in the past?

The simple answer is, you can't do that through the API. There is currently no endpoint supporting gathering your backlinks from Google Search Console.

Have around 260 links with about 60% of them junk.
Some links are from sig links on forums that I actually legitimately post to and from real comments I have made on the web over the years. Should all of these go? Was thinking of hiring a freelancer to do this or maybe going through an online tool if anyone has any suggestions? They are removing the articles, maybe its becoming a headache for them all as, Sorry, GoArticles.com is no longer accepting new article submissions or account signups. We wish this wasn't the end, but unfortunately, it is and we aren't able to continue. You can download a backup copy of all of your submissions by logging into your existing account so that you can re-use your content on your own website or other competitor sites. Linking to sites that link to porn or casinos, my site getting penalized?
I have some link exchanges with some sites to get web traffic but when i ran the bad neighborhood link checker, i found that one site links to some casinos and another site has one link to a porn site. Is this getting me penalized? should i remove the links to these sites? Thanks, Ron

Linking strategy between my own sites
Hi, I have one main site, let's call it food.com I also have 10 smaller sites, let's call them mexicanfood.com, indianfood.com, italianfood.com etc food.com is on its own separate dedicated server the 10 smaller sites are all on a shared IP in hostgator I don't want Google to think that I have created the 10 sites for only purpose of creating links to each other. So, would you recommend that all those 10 sites link to each other? or should there be no interlinking within those 10 same IP domains? What about linking from those 10 sites to my main site? How should I structure my own backlinks not to get penalized by Google ?

Inbound links from porn sites into a professional business services site - remove help?
The website in question was hacked four years ago and there was porn on the servers. It was used as a peer to peer torrent streamer. The images were deleted. We have just found inappropriate inward bound links (with great link juice!!) - how can we remove these links - or should we? any advice would be appreciated thanks

Has anyone seen positive results from using Submiteaze to submit to directories? I know an SEM agency that uses it for clients' link building campaigns, but I don't know if it is worth buying. Are there better alternatives?
I would like to start a link building initiative at my company for a new website, and would like to know if the value of the links built using Submiteaze would be worth the money.
