Landing Pages: New Domain or Sub Folder?

I use premise for landing pages.
I have some extra domain names that are fantastic in my industry.
I'm wondering if I should use those domains for these landing pages?
The header, nav, footer, would be the same as my main site, the body and content would be totally different.
will google penalize me if I have the same header and footer on a landing page?

As John mentioned page rank will be minimal and new domains won't have much domain rank either (likely a lot less than your main established domain) if you're wanting them for organic search purposes.
Unless you're wanting to keep building upon the domain and establish them as more than 'one off' landing pages (link building etc) then using them over your main domain wont do you much good short term or long.

If you think people may link to these landing pages, you'd be better off putting them on your main domain, so these pages help contribute to your main domains rank. Generally it's better to put quality pages on your domain, instead of putting landing pages on these extra domains, and pointing them to your site. It doesn't sound like your extra domains will have much pagerank to pass to your main domain.
Also, more importantly (for me at least), it would be strange to arrive at a landing page, and click a nav link, and arrive at a completely different domain that uses the same nav/header/footer. I'd feel like there was some spoofing going on...
I'd just set up these extra domains to 301 redirect to my main domain, and leave it at that.

How Removing Zombie pages effect on domain authority?

Recently I got a project (removing zombie pages here: https://www.alamto.com/ ) As you can see this site has about 20k indexed page on google and it seems I should remove about 6000 useless indexed page. does removing (Noindex) these pages affect on the site metrics? Shifting target keyword to a new page, how do we rank the internal page?
I have been targeting one keyword for home page that was ranking between the postilion 6-7 but was never ranking on 1st as there were 2 highly competitive keywords targeted on the same page, I changed the keyword to an internal service page to rank it on 1st, I have optimized the content as well but the home page is still ranking on 11th, how do I get the internal page rank on that keyword

Snippet showing as domain name with apostrophe, instead of page title when searching for the domain name.
Hi, We have an issue with one of our websites, with the snippet dispaying differently in Google serps when searching for the domain or the website name rather than a search term. When searching for a search term, the page title shows as expected, but when searching for the site by the domain name either with or without the tld, it shows the snippet as the domain name with an apostrophe at the end. How to 301 redirect, without access to .htaccess and to a new domain
There are few ways to do this and I would like to ask other Mozzers if they have found the best way. We have a site .co.uk and are moving it back to .com. However we do not have any access to the site folders for .co.uk. (We have to move it anyway as our provider is withdrawing their service). We have built our URL 301 redirect file and it is ready to go, but how to impliment it? We can repoint .co.uk to another site, and then redirect all traffic for each URL but this is quite messy, or just forget trying to 301 each page and just rediect the whole site.

Missing meta descriptions on indexed pages, portfolio, tags, author and archive pages. I am using SEO all in one, any advice?
I am having a few problems that I can't seem to work out.....I am fairly new to this and can't seem to work out the following: Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂 1. I am missing alot of meta description tags. I have installed "All in One SEO" but there seems to be no options to add meta descriptions in portfolio posts. I have also written meta descriptions for 'tags' and whilst I can see them in WP they don't seem to be activated. 2. The blog has pages indexed by WP- called Part 2 (/page/2), Part 3 (/page/3) etc. How do I solve this issue of meta descriptions and indexed pages? 3. There is also a page for myself, the author, that has multiple indexes for all the blog posts I have written, and I can't edit these archives to add meta descriptions. This also applies to the month archives for the blog. 4. Also, SEOmoz tells me that I have too many links on my blog page (also indexed) and their consequent tags. Hyphens in Domain Name
I have a client who is a business broker. I have just begun working with them, and they are trying to determine the best domain name to use - they have several. business-broker-alabama.com vs businessbrokeralabama.com Which one of these has more value? I know that search engines have somewhat devalued keywords. The first one probably has a little more SEO value, but is going to be a drag in terms of marketing -- saying "business hyphen broker hyphen alabama" is going to get old for them. Thanks!
