Unsolved Next JS and Missing content
-
Hello
We recently migrated our page to next JS which is supposed to be great for SEO
On almost all our pages we are getting the same errorsMissing Canonical Tag
Missing Title
Missing or Invalid H1
Missing Description
We don't understand this because we have all of that content on every page. We believe that maybe NextJs is having a incompatibility with Moz. Has anyone had any experience with this?

@tom-capper
Thanks for your response.Because we are using Nextjs, it has a built in pre rendering (one of the main draws towards it)
When you mention fallback functionality, can you be more specific about what you mean?
Thanks

Hi
Moz Pro is not a JavaScript capable crawler. So it will be seeing a raw HTML version of these pages.
That said, search engines also have varying and often limited JavaScript capability, and most SEOs would advise you to have decent fallback functionality - perhaps through pre rendering, for example.
You can tell through Google's cache, Search Console, and how you're appearing in SERPs, roughly how Google sees your pages. But keep in mind that Google's handling without any non-JS fallback may be buggy, and other search engines and crawlers (including social networks, for example) will only do worse.

2 different pages being shown as duplicate content.
I have a small problem with some of the pages on one of my websites.
Moz Pro | | horkans
Pages are shown as duplicate content when they have no content the same apart from the template. But it only happens with a few products and we have well over 100 products for sale. An example would be these which are seen as duplicate content.

Are there any tools to give a value STRICTLY for Quantity of Content on your website?
I am trying to put a value to all the work I do and want to put a very specific value to the number of pages of unique content I have. I know everyone says its about quality, and sure it is but quantity is still a factor and looked at. (Can't argue with if you prefer 100 semi-optimized pages versus 1 optimized page- and is unfair for a tool to rate the website the 1 optimized page higher) I use a ton of tools but yet to find something that puts a value on quantity of CONTENT ONLY (Please don't respond with PA or DA because that encompasses all the inherit value)

What's my best strategy for Duplicate Content if only www pages are indexed?
The MOZ crawl report for my site shows duplicate content with both www and non-www pages on the site. (Only the www are indexed by Google, however.) Do I still need to use a 301 redirect - even if the non-www are not indexed? Is rel=canonical less preferable, as usual? Facts: the site is built using asp.net the homepage has multiple versions which use 'meta refresh' tags to point to 'default.asp'. most links already point to www Current Strategy: set the preferred domain to 'www' in Google's Webmaster Tools. set the Wordpress blog (which sits in a /blog subdirectory) with rel="canonical" to point to the www version. Ask programmer to add 301 redirects from the non-www pages to the www pages. Ask programmer to use 301 redirects as opposed to meta refresh tags & point all homepage versions to www.site.org. Does this strategy make the most sense? (Especially considering the non-indexed but existent non-www pages.) Thanks!!

Fix Missing Meta-Description?
We have a Wordpress site. SEOMoz crawl diagnostics are showing 144 missing meta-description tags. The problem is that about 100 are blog pages: http://www.portlandpersonalinjuryaccidentlawyer.com/blog/page/15/ http://www.portlandpersonalinjuryaccidentlawyer.com/blog/page/16/ http://www.portlandpersonalinjuryaccidentlawyer.com/blog/page/17/ Etc. We have a meta-description for http://www.portlandpersonalinjuryaccidentlawyer.com/blog/ but not for every page.... is this a problem? How can we fix it? Thanks!
