Is this actually possible to research German keywords with your tool? -
Actually, German companies prioritize data security, so they often prefer SEO tools registered in Germany or Europe. This can limit access to data for keyword research in tools like Semrush or Ahrefs.
Consider exploring alternative tools compliant with German data protection laws: Contentbird, Conductor or SEOLYZE.

@Raymonda there is an option to change which search engine and region/language you are searching for. This probably defaults to Google (en-us), have you tried changing this to Google German/Deu?

Unsolved Keyword Volume Filtered By City Location?
Let's say I look up the keyword "plumber" in the Keyword Research tool. I get a monthly volume of 70.8k-118k. Now, I want to know how much of that volume comes from a specific city in the United States, like Kalamazoo, Michigan. Is there a way to identify this? My alternative is to look up the keyword "Kalamazoo plumber". This has two problems: People who search for local services will frequently leave off the location, with the expectation that the search engine will provide localized organic results. So, the search volume isn't very precise. That keyword has N/A volume, so the information doesn't help me anyway. Any alternative way to get at this data? Thanks!

Is it a bad idea to hyphenate keywords?
Hello, my understanding was that Google reads hyphens in keywords as spaces, but if that's accurate how come keywords with hyphens that I research with Keyword Explorer — for instance, hospital-acquired infections — rank lower when I include the hyphen? If the hyphen hurts SEO, do I have to remove them all from the blog or page in question? Removing hyphens means a blog or page will have punctuation errors, which is irritating to an editor, but I don't want to sacrifice the effectiveness of keywords, either. What kind of SEO keywords should a recruitment company use?
I am relatively new to the world of SEO and have been given responsibility to improve SEO rankings for our company website (which is full of jobs). We are London based digital media recruiters and work in a number of niche industries. Should job titles be the keywords I try and optimise, as opposed to keywords such as 'digital media recruitment london', 'London digital marketing jobs', 'digital media recruiters in london' etc? How do you optimize for compound keywords
What is the best way to handle keywords like "switchplate covers"? The key word may be seen as either a 2 or 3 word phrase, depending how you handle the compound term: "switch plate" or "switchplate" In google KW it shows different results for switch plate vs switchplate as well as using cover vs covers. I've tried using all the variations in my descriptions, titles and H2s but I think this is diluting them all.
