We have a customer whose site: http://camilojosevergara.com doesn't show up even when you search for his exact domain. http://bit.ly/18RjPPX

Wondering why that is. Is it because wikipedia and the other links rank higher? I've submitted his sitemap to google so I'm trying to figure out why its not showing up.

Any tips/recommendations to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

I just recently cleaned up a pharma hack for someone and they are still seeing emails being sent out with his domain as a link for the link target.

Anyway to fix that? does that stop after a while? do all the links that are out there with his domain in it affect his SEO in a way that he could be misconstrued as doing black hat SEO techniques?

When I do a search for Scott Gable (just his name) google comes up like this (without the sitelinks):

http://chrle.us/MGer

When I add photography to the search query it comes up like this (with the sitelinks structured below)

http://chrle.us/MHXy

is his name that common that the full sitelinks wouldn't appear below it on the scott gable search?

Would 301 redirecting scottgablephotography.com to scottgable.com help fix this?

I'm getting soft 404 errors for a gallery on my site: http://chrle.us/MBKs

yet when I visit the url: http://www.chrisboar.com/html/galleries/114/portfolio/weddings-1/0

the image/url is there. Not sure how to fix this.

note we do redirect the site to the flash site and only use those URLs for SEO purposes. Maybe that is what is causing it.

If you look at the attachment I have you'll see images (image sandra_0048 and image long_studio) show up in the tree listing but certain categories don't. For instance Projects - the moustache.

Also some sections (Design) show the image file name instead of the img caption for the first image in that gallery: Canadian House & Home magazine.

I would love some explanation on why google is doing these things.

Hi Dana -

are you looking at it on IE? A flash version is shown to IE Versions since those aren't super great on HTML 5 features.

any chance you could look at it on firefox and look at the title while in a gallery on an image.

I moved a wordpress blog from domain.com to domain.com/blog . I want to redirect the links in google from the old domain.com to the new one, but I also want to put a new site/application at domain.com..so I'm thinking an .htaccess 301 redirect at the root wouldn't work. Any tips?
