To the best of my knowledge, and based on my personal experience, I have seen google at times throw my page to 2nd and 3rd and even beyond! Do not panic. I would recommend looking at on-page optimization first to check your content and make sure it is relevant and easy to read and understand without too many keyword stuffing in it. check out this link as well https://yoast.com/ranking-signals/, it might help. Recently on my Scheduled MOZ report, I got an error shows under "content error" for missing "H1 heading" for my following 3 pages: privacy policy, contact us and FAQ... Is it really necessary for those pages? I have a large image and good meta description for us and to the best of my knowledge search engines does not really need H1 for such pages as described. Please, your opinion. Thanks!
