Crawlable Facebook Comments
-
A lot of blogs are beginning to use facebook comments. I came across a WordPress plugin called "Crawlable Facebook Comments". The plugin makes a text version of your iframe comments visible to googlebot. You can see how it works at: http://www.zewlak.com/crawlable-facebook-comments/ Is there really any utility to this seo-wise? Comment content is normally not optimized and you will end up linking to a bunch of facebook profiles. What do you folks think?

User Generated Content such as comments have been proven to add value to articles. You can capture a lot of long tail phrases.
With respect to linking facebook profiles, that is entirely under your control. The plugin should provide you the option to only present the comments without linking to the facebook profiles. If it doesn't, either modify the plugin or find a different one.

How to find out what is the best time to post to your audience on Facebook
We have been using Facebook for some time for our business and are looking to schedule our posts. We want to schedule posts when they would have maximal reach to our audience. How do we find this out? Can it be identified using Facebook Insights? Instructions or guidance here as to how to do this would be most appreciated!

What percentage of people will Like/Share something on Facebook vs. Liking/Sharing from a website?
I asked this on Quora and am curious what the Moz community has to offer: http://www.quora.com/What-percentage-of-people-will-Like-Share-something-on-Facebook-vs-Liking-Sharing-from-a-website If I have a blog post that I share on Facebook and I receive 1,000 Likes and/or Shares, what's the percentage of those Likes/Shares that will come from people interacting with the post in their Facebook news feed vs. people Liking/Sharing the article on my blog? I realize many factors are at play here (type of content, audience, time of day, blog design, etc.) but have there been any studies that attempted to address this question?

Spammy Facebook Page Penalty
In general search, I've noticed a handful of businesses who's facebook pages outrank their websites by a lot. Whenever I've looked into it, usually the FB pages have a bunch of spammy links, whereas the website (that isn't ranking well) doesn't. However, I am curious of two things: 1. Are FB pages like the ones I'm describing somewhat "immune" to penalties because their DA is so high? 2. Does this strategy end up hurting the business's website, if there's a link to it from the spammy FB page? Thanks, Ruben

Is there any SEO benefit of adding the Facebook "Like" widget to your site?
A lot of sites put their Facebook "Like" widget on their homepage and it shows the number of people who like them. Is there an SEO or marketing benefit to having this. I could see how this can provide social proof to visitors. Are there any other benefits?

Facebook Like on URLs
I have a doubt regarding the facebook LIKES for URLs Case 1: By using a Facebook Like Button (for URL) on my page(s). Here people are coming to my page and giving like directly on my page. Case 2: Here i'm not using any Facebook Like plugins on page, But my page got shared on facebook pages and profiles. And people are giving likes on facebook.com for my shared links. Is this two count as different methods? Explain me please.

Facebook Admins
Hello, Can you give admin status to a user, that doesn't give them the ability to remove other admins. This would be editor or contributor in wordpress. The concern here is that an admin can delete the other admins. IF ATT gave admin to a disgruntled employee, they could lose a page for some time. Thanks

Facebook competition: what's the best way to do it
Taking some advice/ideas from this seomoz blog post http://www.seomoz.org/blog/99-ways-to-build-links-by-giving-stuff-away-and-improve-your-brand-too-14029 I decided to launch a facebook competition were you like/share the product you want to win. The question is should I be looking for share or likes? From what I have read Share are more valuable than likes, but Likes would be easier to get I think (ie we could get a lot more of them). Here is an example of one of our product pages: http://www.lovefurniture.ie/sofas-furniture/corner-sofas-l-shaped-sofas/rihanna-corner-suite-with-sofabed We already have a like, tweet +1 buttons, but not a facebook share, should it be there? Any feedback or advice would be appreciated

Best strategy for optimizing Facebook annotations in Bing & Yahoo
My website has a page on Facebook with around 32K connections, these are not showing up in Bing's serp annotations because Bing is not associating my page with the website. Unsure why because I have closed loop links and used their Page Like Box to generate those 32K connections. I have Facebook insights and Bing webmaster tools authorized for the domain Does anyone know how I can ensure Bing makes that connection? If that's not possible, would it be more advantageous to drive likes to my sitewide domain or specific pages? My testing on Bing suggests the domain level like is most likely to trigger annotations, even for deeper pages with no specific likes. http://ministry-to-children.com/ http://www.facebook.com/MinistryToChildren
