Best Traffic Estimation Tool
-
Hello,
What is the best system/tool to estimate traffic to a site, something more accurate than Alexa rank. This is of course assuming that one does not have access to the site's Google Analytics data,
Thanks,
Carl

Yes but G Trends doesn't give you actual numbers AFAIK, so you have to use some third party companies like SEMRush, SpyFu, Compete, etc. Then you can take the average of these results and have a somewhat reliable number

Google has a tool which gives you some extra information about the traffic to (bigger) websites:

Tools for constant SERP monitoring?
Does anyone know of a tool where you enter in a [search term] and it constantly (or periodically) monitors the SERPs and reports back on the top results? IE- If you wanted to monitor for the term [trump] it would fetch that search result every hour or so and report those via an online interface or downloadable .csv

Tool for finding what keywords a competitor ranks for?
Does anyone know of any good tools that display what keywords a competitor ranks for? I have many competitors that I know get a lot of traffic, but I'm not entirely sure where the traffic comes from so it would be nice to plug in their url and get a general overview of what keywords they rank for and what positions.

Good tools to compare site speed on different sites?
Google tells me that my site is slower than 81% of the internet. Now this is a very large news website, so I would like to compare this against other very large news websites. Are there any tools that will be able to tell me the speed of a list of websites? I am looking for something a little more detailed than 'this site loaded in 1 second'. Also, do any of you fellow SEOs know of any good tools to analyse what is causing your site to slow down? Kind regards

Your Favorite Tools for Competitive Analysis?
When you review your competitors online presence, what are some of your favorite tools? I like Open Site Explorer's domain comparison tool. SEMRush is great too but the data is often inaccurate.

Best methodology for creating local keywords when Google has no data?
Generally I'll look at data for specific geographical searches and incorporate the data from the other keywords, then track the metrics. I think there is likely a more efficient system but I'm not sure where to start.
