Is there anything more we can do about this ?
-
Hi.. When we start a website with some number of pages, we start with their ONpage , and then Social bookmarking and article submission for them , also blog posting.
What more can we do to keep the SEO process going on for those pages, or for link building ?
For example, we have 5 pages on a website and each month, we have to show the status report what is being done for those 5 pages to the client.
What all can we be do ?

Yes, Blog commenting and similar website link requests is in my roadmap.

There is heaps you can do, you just need to get creative. High value backlinks can't be purchased, they need to add value to the world. I know, what a biatch, but SEO is about hard work and high returns. Below are a few easy to follow ideas that really work and particularly in competitive industries.
Sign up to HARO (help a reporter out). This will give your opportunities to be interviewed by journalists and get your client linked from news websites.
Press releases are a winner, talk about anything relevant and use PR Web + Newsmaker to distribute. Pro-tip Make sure the press releases are different, don't submit the same article to both.
Get active in the blogasphere, comment on other people's blogs and engage them in conversation. it is amazing how often they will add your company to their favs list.
Get creative, run competitions to encourage blogging about your company/product + specialist comments and reviews.

How i can Reduce Spam score of my website
Hi everyone, I'm reaching out to the community for some advice on improving my website's spam score. I've been using the Moz Spam Score Checker and my website, sngplbill.pk, currently has a score of 7%. While this isn't exceptionally high, I'd like to take steps to bring it down as low as possible, ideally under 1%. One factor I've identified that might be contributing to this score is a number of backlinks pointing to my site has a much higher spam score (over 80%). (screenshot attached)sngplbillscore I'm wondering if the community has any recommendations for how to address this situation. Here are some specific questions I have: Does disavowing the backlinks from spamy site seem like the best course of action?

Exact Match Anchor Text - How Can These Guys Be Getting Away With It?
Hi. I've noticed that some of my search competitors seem to be getting away with heavy use of exact match anchor text in their backlinks. In the UK, for the term [HR Software] the top 3 SERPs have on average: 63% of their backlinking domains using the exact match anchor text [HR Software] 50% of their backlinking pages use the exact match anchor text [HR Software] I know there are hundreds of factors at play other than just the above but to me their anchor text profiles scream "LINK SPAM". Is this normal? Have I missed something? or do I just bide my time and wait for them to be hit with a penalty? Thanks David

How do I find and can I trust link building companies
I'm finding it hard to build quality links. I don't want to employ a link building company as I can't find anyone I can trust. I also don't know what is a realistic rate of pay for link building work.

Can changing our links page make our rankings drop through the floor?
Hi all, When I first started at my current job, most of the link building (aside from submitting to free directories left, right and centre) was replying to every spammy reciprocal email and adding them to our links page! Now we're all a bit wiser about such matters (thanks SEOMoz!), I want to get our links page turned into something actually useful. My plan was to get it neatly categorised, with recommendations, cut out unrelated links that would be useless to visitors and call it something like "Our Friends" I thought this might be useful for future link building efforts, but in its current state, it's a complete mess. However, I am worried about cutting out a lot of links if they have been reciprocal ones. Are the sort of sites that would be sending typical spammy link exchange emails for window installation in NY likely to notice our UK education site taking away their link six months later and take away ours? If they do, will losing links from these sites harm us? Perhaps more importantly, is my plan a terrible idea in the first place? Look forward to hearing from y'all!

Can indirect linking be valuable?
I have a client who is using a SEO company (Hubshout, delete name if necessary) to boost traffic to their website. They are doing this by publishing articles and submitting them to article directories, then they use their own sites/blogs (which are valueless, PR and MozRank of zero) to point to these articles and they say that this helps boost there rankings. How? They are not linking to the clients websites, creating artificial links from their own websites to article directories instead of the clients website. Are they trying to boost the value of the article or trying to boost their own websites? How does this help out the client? It is similar to three way linking but is not.
