RE: Regarding gmail access for Google Analytics
Does providing access to my gmail account which is ameliajarmon@gmail.com give you access to or allow you to see my email messages or private emails?
-
Our software is only granted access to your Google Analytics information and nothing else. That means we do not have access to read you emails or access any other information inside of your Google account. You can also restrict previously granted access to your account from your Google account settings.

You can provide someone with access to your analytics (associated with your email address) without providing them with access to your email. Go to Google Analyics settings, under Users, click "Add New User". This user can then visit Google Analytics and access your anlaytics without accessing your email.

If you add some one (by adding their gmail address to your analytics account), they can access just your analytics and not your email etc. you can the set the permissions on how much of our analytics they can see. You do NOT have to share your gmail login details o have some one look into your analytics,

Thank you. However, there has to be a better way of sharing analytics.
-
Yes. Typically all of your google tools are stored under one roof, which means anyone who has your email address and password to access your analytics can see your emails, documents, and any other google services you use.

Analytics / Funnel benefits to account creation at end of steps?
I'm working with a client that has a number of paths for users to take (demand vs. supply, a lot of variables, etc). All involve new URLs and are perfect for destination-based goals and thus the creation of funnels; however, right now most are irrelevant due to some issues involving redirects, changed paths, etc. In the process of trying to make sense of them, I discovered that the site forces you to make an account before proceeding through the steps in the funnel. Are there any resources that might indicate the best to approach situations like this - that is, account creation at the beginning (and as a requirement before proceeding) to creating an account at the end? I'm trying to make sense of all their potential paths, but it's impossible without making countless accounts. Thanks.

Is It Possible to have Cross Domain Tracking on Two Different Accounts?
Good afternoon to all, I have this kind of dilemma regarding setting up tracking code on two different accounts, namely bioglass.com with GA Code UA-12345678-1 where all the product information has been listed and shopbioglass.com with GA Code UA-87654321-1 where the prices are located and transaction takes place. Both of them are connected since if you click the buy button on bioglass.com for a specific product, it will automatically redirect to shopbioglass.com where the prices and transactions comes into place. Dilemma: I want to check how many conversion took place from bioglass.com to shopbioglass.com. I know they have different GA Code but is it possible for me to have a cross domain tracking for this?? What are the possible remedies if not? Thanks to all 🙂

How to Access Keywords in Old Adword Account
Where can the keywords that go with a specific ad be found in Google adwords? Right now the only keywords we can find are all the collective keywords used across the 10 ads in the campaign. We need to which individual keywords are associated with each ad. Is that information available, and if so, where? Appreciate your input. David

Yikes..what is this? "We have detected that the root domain xxxxxx.com does not repsond to web requests"!!!
Can anyone tell me what this means? "We have detected that the root domain xxxxxx.com does not repsond to web requests. Using this domain, we will be unable to crawl your site or present accurate SERP information"

Google Analytics Organic search queries aren't being updated, even though I'm still seeing results in all our typical results pages.
We pushed some new changes to the site and Google Analytics is no longer updating the Organic Search queries listing, even though traffic is consistent and and we're still landing results in all our typical keyword searches. Any ideas?

Why are we not seeing similar traffic patterns in a new market?
Good afternoon! We have a large real estate site with over 400,000 urls. We do pretty well with long-tailed search terms (like addresses--- 123 Main Street, Atlanta GA) so we get a decent amount of traffic (3,500-4,000 uniques a day). 2 months ago we opened up in a new market (Nashville) and hoped to see similar traffic for that market after a few of months, but so far we haven't. In fact, we only get about 200 visits a day. I can't seem to figure out why it's taking so long for us to generate similar traffic in Nashville that we see in Atlanta. All of the Nashville properties are in our sitemap and are being indexed by Google. Any ideas why we aren't seeing similar effects? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide! David
