Schema for Hotel
-
I was interested in setting up rich snippets for all our hotels. I having a difficult time finding an example for a hotel without reviews. If you could add reviews, is there a way of showing your ratings on google places? I would like to add a picture, price, reviews, etc. for www.paradisus-puntacana.com/?
Anyway, you can help me out with forming a rich snippet for this hotel?

I would go to Organizations: http://schema-creator.org/organization.php
From there you can pick from the drop down menu. Sorry it took so long for me to respond... I was eating pizza

Thats a great site. They dont have a section for business or properties. Which path do you think I should take?
-
That's what I use.

Thank Alan. I know schema for hotels page and how to test it. But I was trying to get an actual example of my hotel in order to get it correct.

Hotel comes under local business, there are examples onthis page
http://schema.org/LocalBusiness
here is hotel, but it is just the same as localbusiness and does not have examples, so use the examples from above link
Having marked up yourself as a hotel, you want to mark a product, like a room booking, then add an offer, with price, or AggregateOffer if you have aprice range
You can have a look at how i have marked up SEO as a product on this page

This is what google supports at the moment

JSON-LD schema markup for a category landing page
I'm working on some schema for a client and have a question regarding the use of schema for a high-level category page. This page is merely the main lander for Categories. For example: https://www.examples.com/pages/categories And all it does is list links to the three main categories (Men's, Women's, Kid's) - it's a clothing store. This is the code I have right now. In short, simply using type @Itemlist and an array that uses @ListItem. Structured Data Testing Tool returns no errors with it, but my main question is this: Is this the _correct _way to do a page like this, or are there better options? Thanks.

Schema for Knowledge Graph Card
Hello, all! I have a client who's Fortune 500 - has all the good "stuff" that is associated with pulling in proper info into the knowledge graph/company information box - Wikipedia, strong citations, etc., but the card is showing the wrong company type! Has anyone had experience with influencing this via Schema or anything else clever? Note that the correct company type is referenced in all the usual spots. Thanks!

Need a layman's definition/analogy of the difference between schema and structured data
I'm currently writing a blog post about schema. However I want to set the record straight that schema is not exactly the same as structured data, although both are often used interchangeably. I understand this schema.org is a vocabulary of global identifiers for properties and things. Structured data is what Google officially stated as "a standard way to annotate your content so machines can understand it..." Does anybody know of a good analogy to compare the two? Thanks!

Google + and Schema
I've noticed with a few of the restaurant clients I work with that Schema isn't contributing at all to their SERP -- their Google + page is. Is there any way to have more control over what Google is pulling to help make UX better? I.e. showing photos of the restaurant without a logo, etc.

How to work with schema.org together with Wordpress
Hi schema.org seems to be quite simple when working with a plain HTML website. You just look up the code you need on schame.org and implement it in the HTML file as required. But when using Wordpress things become more complicated. I have to use plugins for schemata and then I can only use the schemata that exist in those plugins which are very limited. How do you deal with this issue? Cheers Marc

Should I delete 'data hightlighter' mark-up in webmaster tools after added schema.org mark-up?
LEDSupply.com is my site, and before becoming familiar with schema mark-up I used the 'data-highlighter' in webmaster tools to mark-up as much of the site as I could. Now that Schema is set-up I'm wondering if having both active is bad and am thinking I should delete the previous work with the 'data highlighter' tool. To delete or not to delete? Thank you!

Schema markup in SERP in s ome languages but not in English. Any suggestions?
I have schema markup on a category page and on a product page on a website in 10 languages. Product page markup is showing in google SERP in all languages (both star rating, number of votes). Category page markup is showing very inconsistently. For English google SERP do not pick it up at all. For Spanish and German they are showing completely in SERP (votes, minimum price), for other languages, just part of makrup (minimum price) is shown in google SERP. In rich snippet tool they show up correctly in all languages. Any suggestion what can be done to get schema of category page picked up more consistently? Any experience of other markup formats than schema being picked up better? Thanks

Does anyone have any experience using GoodRelations Snippet Generator for E-Commerce versus markup from Schema.org?
I am trying to implement Structured Data markup on a large e-commerce site that has ancient code and is not on any standard e-commerce platform. It is a Webstore we self-host that was developed for us and heavily customized. What's worse is that I don't have access to the source code. I have to somehow instruct our IT Director how and where to place everything. So I'm going to need to be meticulously specific. As I began wading through our code and determining where to insert code as instructed by Schema.org I ran across this on one of their pages: "This class contains derivatives of properties from the GoodRelations Vocabulary for E-Commerce, created by Martin Hepp. GoodRelations is a data model for sharing e-commerce data on the Web that can be expressed in a variety of syntaxes, including RDFa and HTML5 Microdata. More information about GoodRelations can be found at http://purl.org/goodrelations/." I went to check it out and it appears that this could be a great resource as it has a snippet generator and several "cookbooks" for adding micro data to our site. Here's a link to their snippet generator: http://www.ebusiness-unibw.org/tools/grsnippetgen/ However, with a catalog of 5,000 SKUs, needless to say we aren't going to plug in our products into this generator one-by one. Has anyone here successfully used GoodRelations to help them implement micro data into a large E-commerce site that isn't a standard platform (not Magento, WP, Joomla or Volusion) ?? I would be very greatful to anyone who can share their experiences and or make suggestions on how we might best proceed. Thanks! Dana
